"When will he wake up?" Rodger asked.
"At any time now. Don't worry," The doctor said as he left.

"It's been two months already. Why can't we switch back to our bodies yet?" Winter asked on the phone in frustration.
"Did you blow out the candles before making the wish? I don't think it would work that way," Summer replied as she looked at the notes his brother wrote for her.
They attended each other's classes. So, they write notes and send them every day so the other can learn and catch up on classes.
Winter was a finance student, while Summer was in design. They have no interest in each other's classes. So, this is the only way the other could learn their respective fields.
"I blew them before wishing, after wishing, while wishing, and I also tried not blowing at all. I tried everything with multiple candles and cakes, alright?" Winter's frustrated voice almost blasted Summer's ears through the phone.
"Which cake did you use?" Summer asked casually.
Actually, she was enjoying irritating Winter with these mindless questions.
She had envied her friends ' siblings' banters since childhood. This is the first time she could actually irritate her own brother, and she was enjoying each and every bit of it.
"Which cake? You mean even the cake's flavor should be considered for this stupid thing? Damn it!"
"Hehe." Summer chuckled sweetly.
"Ahh! Don't use my voice to smile so sweetly like that. It's creepy."
"You find everything I do creepy. I hate my brother. Hmph."
"Can't you do that when you are back in your body? I really can't treat you as my sister when you are using a male voice; nonetheless, it's my body, okay?" Winter felt defeated.
He wanted to pamper his sister as well. But he can't treat her as a 'sister' when she was using a male voice when she talked to him, no matter how hard he tried to accept their situation.
He could adapt to his situation of living a new life using his sister's body. But accepting a man as his sister? It felt completely different for some reason.
Summer did not reply, and he sighed. Now his younger sister is angry at him.
"Anyway, did you try wishing as well?" He asked again, changing the topic.
"Yes. I did everything perfectly, but it was of no use." She scoffed proudly. In short, it wasn't her mistake. Only his, if it did not work.
"..." Winter never had to deal with a princess like his sister before. He did not know how to deal with this princess at all.
"Let's try doing it at the same time. Maybe it would work?" he suggested.
"Okay. I still have a cake with me. Tell me when you are ready, and we can do it immediately," Summer nodded and agreed immediately.
"I have one as well. It's a strawberry cake. Is that what you used at your party?" Winter asked.
"Yes. Strawberry cake is my favorite. So daddy got it for me customized from a very famous chef," Summer grinned.
"Pink again. To be expected from a princess like you," Winter muttered to himself.
"Huh? Did you say something?" Summer did not hear his words.
"Nothing. Let's start. Place eighteen candles first," Winter said.
"Okay."
In a couple of minutes, they arranged two strawberry cakes in front of them, each with eighteen candles stuck on top.
"Ready?" Winter asked.
"Ready," Summer replied.
"On three. One. Two.. Three…" Winter counted down and both made a wish to turn back to their bodies before they blew on the candles.
There was silence. A whole minute later, Winter asked, "Anything?"
"I don't feel anything, Brother. What about you?"
"Nothing. Another failure," Winter sighed in defeat.
"Brother, I think this won't work," Summer sighed as well.
"Hmm?"
"It isn't our birthday. I think only birthday wishes will be fulfilled."
"Wait. You mean… we have to wait until our next birthday before we can make a wish and swap back?" Winter raised his voice in shock.
"I think so, but we can't be sure either, right?" Summer couldn't be a hundred percent sure of her thoughts either.
"You are right. We can't be sure about this. We can't take any chances. We will try other ideas first. If by our next birthday, we really couldn't swap back, then we could do as you said," Winter lowered his voice and said, clearly trying to calm his emotions.
"Okay. So what other ideas should we try?" Summer asked.
"If I knew, would I still be in your body?" Winter snapped with irritation caused by another failure.
After two months of getting along with each other, Summer got used to her brother's temper.
She wasn't scared or startled by his actions as easily as she had been before. "Brother, I have an idea."
"Oh? Tell me," Winter's mood peaked again. That's how volatile his mood always was.
In simpler terms, he is a simpleton.
"We should make a wish on a birthday. Who cares if it is our birthday or not? Maybe we should try wishing on someone else's birthday using their cake. What do you say?" Summer suggested.
"That's actually reasonable. Yes. We should try that. Whose birthday cake should we crash? Oh Yes! I heard it's Clara's birthday next week. I will try on her cake," Winter immediately started planning.
"No," Summer shouted.
She heard some rattling sounds through the phone.
"Damn it," Winter's voice sounded like he was struggling. Clearly, he lost his balance and fell down, startled by her scream, and now he was trying to get back on his feet.
"What is wrong with you? What are you shouting for?" He asked in irritation. She heard him clapping his hands, probably dusting them after the fall.
"You can't wish using Clara's birthday cake. If you use her wish, then how could she make her wish? I can't take away her precious birthday wish. Also, how sad will she be if you… I mean, I… blow her candles on her birthday?"
