As soon as her warm hand touched his cold skin, Rodger's eyes opened wide, and he grabbed her hand.
"What are you doing?" He gritted his teeth.
"Nothing. I just want to know how abs feel like," Summer just grinned.
"..." What nonsense was that? "If you want to know that, can't you look at yours?"
It's not like Winter was missing any abs himself.
"Oh? I have abs as well?" Summer was really surprised. She was using her brother's body for the past two months. But she wasn't really interested in his body. Only in Rodger's.
So, except for a few parts she had to know about, she did not care about any of her brother's body parts at all. Even if she looked at it, she did not care.
She raised her shirt and touched her brother's abs. Indeed, they were there.
Then she looked at Rodger and said, "They are not as interesting as yours."
"..." What is the difference? He did not understand. "What is the difference?" He asked what he thought.
"They are not yours. Obviously, that's a huge difference," Summer smiled cheekily.
She is showing all her flirting skills in front of her crush unknowingly.
"Bro, I am straight," Rodger deadpanned.
Summer blinked her eyes, "I am straight as well."
"Your actions don't look like that," Rodger muttered under his breath. Then he said, "I am going back to my bed."
"No. Don't," Before he could leave the quilt, she grabbed his hand to stop him. "I won't do anything. Just sleep here."
Looking at his pleading gaze, Rodger sighed and agreed before closing his eyes once again.
This time, Summer really did not do anything and closed her eyes as well.
When Summer opened her eyes in the morning, she felt a buzzing feeling in her head. The pain was so severe that she felt her head would split open into two pieces.
"Aargh!" She groaned softly.
When her eyes fell on the person beside her, her eyes widened in shock. She almost screamed out loud, but she placed her hand over her mouth and stopped herself.
"Whoa! What happened yesterday?" She felt excited. This is the best way to open her eyes in the morning.
If this is the view she would face every morning, she would never click on the snooze button on her alarm anymore.
It might be possible for her to even wake up earlier than her alarm ringing, just so that she could look at this charming face faster.
How great would that be?
She looked at Rodger's face and started to admire his features brazenly.
She did not feel shy at all.
She even raised her hand to touch his nose and lightly grazed his eyelashes.
Her finger then moved downwards towards his lips. "So pretty," she muttered softly, looking at them.
She saw her eyes flickering, and she removed her hand instantly.
She saw Rodger opening his eyes and looking back at her. "What's the time?"
Summer blinked her eyes. She did not know either. She looked around for her phone, looked at the time, and then showed it to Rodger as well.
She then held her head with her hand and asked, "What happened yesterday? My head hurts. Why are you sleeping on my bed?"
"..." Rodger was dumbfounded. Why did her words sound like he got into his bed on purpose? He then looked at her carefully and asked, "You forgot everything from yesterday?"
Summer pressed her temples and slowly shook her head, "I don't remember anything."
Rodger sighed and got out of her bed. "It's okay. You looked sad, and we went drinking. You got drunk there and forced me to sleep in your bed."
"Oh. That's all?" She nodded and then asked if there was anything else.
Rodger looked at Winter for a couple of seconds before saying, "You said something about having a sister. What's happening? When did you get a twin sister, and why didn't I know of it before?"
Summer was stunned when she heard his question. She placed her hand over her mouth in shock. What nonsense did she speak the day before? Had she gone crazy?
Rodger looked at her expression and frowned. Why is this matter such a huge secret? Why couldn't he tell him?
"What else did I tell you?" Summer asked.
Rodger looked at him intently. He did not answer or say anything else.
It was like he was trying to read her thoughts with his gaze. It was so intense that Summer couldn't help but squirm a little.
"Tell me about your twin first," Rodger demanded.
"Umm… I had a twin sister?"
"Are you telling me or asking me?"
"Telling you?"
"..." Rodger glared.
"Telling you. Telling you. I am telling you," Summer hurried.
"And?"
"And? That's all? I mean, that's all."
Rodger glared again.
"Ehem. Anyway, I found out about my twin recently. I need you to keep this a secret from the others. Most importantly from…"
"From the boys?" Rodger asked before he finished, talking about Archer and Brock. After all, introducing a sister to those men is like throwing her into a den of wolves. Who knows how they would flirt with her?
"Them too, but they are not the most important," Summer forced a smile.
"Then?"
"Keep it a secret from my mom," She said finally.
Keeping a secret about a sister from their own mother sounds weird, no matter how one looks at it. That was why Summer did not know how to tell this to Rodger.
"From your mom? What do you mean?" Rodger asked in confusion.
"I can't really explain this matter to you now. Just remember to keep this a secret for me, okay? Let's talk about this later. I have a class today," Summer said before hurrying out to wash up.
Rodger looked at her fleeing back and continued to frown. This Winter started to get more and more suspicious as time went by, and he couldn't understand what was going on with him at all. It almost felt like he was a completely different person from before.
