After breakfast with his foster sister, or more accurately, his girlfriend, Razel left for Kayrav's office.
The meeting had already started, and Kayrav looked annoyed that Razel had kept him waiting.
"Why are you late? Don't you need this cooperation, Mr. Razel?" Kayrav asked sternly.
"Kayrav, I—"
Kayrav immediately raised one eyebrow to signal that they were in Kayrav's meeting room.
"Um... what Mr. Razel means is... We apologize, Mr. Kayrav, for being late. It's all because Mr. Razel had to take care of his pregnant wife. Mr. Razel's wife has no one to take care of her at home, so Mr. Razel has to take care of her first before leaving for the office," explained Gizel, not wanting to make Kayrav angry.
"Your wife is sick?" Kayrav was, of course, a little surprised and now he was worried about Nadia.
"Yes, Mr. Kayrav. She is in the early stages of pregnancy and hasn't been able to get out of bed for several days. She has no appetite at all; she just wants to lie down all the time. That's why I'm taking care of everything."
"Then why did you still choose to come here? You should be taking care of her at home." Kayrav's gaze showed his frustration at the man in front of him.
"Um... about that, Nadia told me to keep working because, after all, I have to take responsibility for this job, especially since I'm going to have a baby soon and that will require a lot of money," said Razel, looking for an excuse.
"Well, if that's the case, let's start today's meeting. Take your seat," said Kayrav, finally starting the business meeting, even though he was now preoccupied with thoughts of Nadia, who he said was sick.

The meeting ended. Razel secured a business contract with Kayrav's company and looked very satisfied.
"Congratulations, dear. Finally, your small company has secured a partnership with Kayrav's large company. Hmm... I can't wait to think about the income we will get, it will definitely be huge," said Gizel softly.
The two were talking quietly in the meeting room where everyone had left, leaving only the two of them and Kayrav and Leon who were busy discussing something.
"Don't worry, dear. If I get a big profit from this partnership, you will be the first person I will reward because Nadia has annoyed me with her stupidity in getting pregnant." Razel's face turned angry as he remembered Nadia's pregnancy.
"Razel," Kayrav called.
"Yes?" Razel was startled because he was focused on his conversation with Gizel.
Kayrav looked at the two of them in surprise. "Are you two discussing something important?" Kayrav asked sternly.
"Nothing important, Mr. Kayrav. We're just discussing our next activities," Razel lied.
"Oh, yes, I want you to go to Switzerland next week for this job. There, you will meet one of my colleagues who will help you. If this project is successful, I guarantee your company will grow rapidly in a matter of days. How about it? Can you do it?" asked Kayrav, suddenly turning to Razel and Gizel.
"Of course I can, Mr. Kayrav!" Razel exclaimed loudly.
"Then what about Nadia at home? You said she's pregnant and sick. Who will take care of her? Your parents?" Kayrav asked, provoking Razel's response.
Razel seemed to think for a moment. For Razel, Nadia was not as important as this project, and Razel was also sure that Nadia could take care of herself because Razel's parents also did not want Razel to bother taking care of his wife.
"Mr. Kayrav, don't worry too much about my wife. She will definitely be better after this because she has been taking vitamins every day. Later, when she's better, she wants to go back to work at the restaurant where she used to work. My wife is a strong woman, Mr. Kayrav." Razel even smiled, which made Kayrav want to punch Razel in the face.
"Aren't you worried at all?"
"Of course I'm worried, but I can call her every day, or ask her mother to visit our house."
"All right then. Now please go back to your office and study all the documents that Leon will give you later." Kayrav walked towards the exit.
"I won't let Nadia's pregnancy get in the way of my dreams of success," Razel said angrily.
"Don't worry, because I'll help you achieve all your dreams, big brother," Gizel replied with a teasing smile.
"Excuse me, Mr. Razel, can we talk for a moment?" said Leon, who was Kayrav's trusted confidant.
"You guys talk, and I'm going to excuse myself to the bathroom for a moment." Gizel got up from her seat and walked out of the meeting room.
Gizel was actually lying to Razel. She didn't go to the bathroom but to Kayrav's office instead. She asked Kayrav's secretary for permission to meet the man, and when Kayrav's secretary confirmed with her boss, Kayrav allowed Gizel to enter.
"Good morning, Kayrav. Sorry to bother you. Um... can I call you by your first name?" Gizel walked closer to Kayrav, who was standing in front of a large glass window.
"This is still within the scope of work. It would be better if you called me Sir." Kayrav stared intently.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Kayrav." Gizel's hand slowly brushed her hair to the side so that her slender neck was visible.
Gizel was indeed a beautiful and charming woman, especially with her perfect body like an international model. However, that did not interest Kayrav at all. "What's going on? Why are you here? Aren't you going back to Razel's office?"
"Mr. Razel is still talking to Leon, and I came here because I wanted to ask you something, Mr. Kayrav."
"Ask about what?"
"About the partnership and Mr. Razel's trip to Switzerland. Will you be going there too, Mr. Kayrav?" Gizel's face was curious.
"Of course I won't be going because there's more work to do here and I can't leave it to someone else."
"Oh...." Gizel's lips pouted as if she were sulking at her lover. "I thought Mr. Kayrav would come along and we could continue the night, where I would go to Mr. Kayrav's room. I really regret that I was drunk and unconscious at that time."
Kayrav, who remembered that incident, felt annoyed because he couldn't get strong evidence about Gizel's relationship with his own foster brother, Razel.
