Chapter 12 - The Foursome Reappears

In the original storyline, Kirsty was the next chosen one to open the Lemarchand's Box, after Frank.

Benjamin believed he had captured the blood corpse beforehand and saved Kirsty's father.

Therefore, there was no later scene where Kirsty went to the cabin to rescue her father, discovered Frank had already been resurrected by Julie with three living people, struggled to steal Frank's box, failed to recover, was taken to the hospital, and then opened the box to summon the Hellish Cenobites.

Unexpectedly, after the plot was altered, the Hermit simply took the Lemarchand's Box.

Benjamin quickly put the two hearts into a woven bag, locked it in a suitcase, and placed the suitcase in the attic.

He didn't dare take the two cursed cores to Pinhead, delivering them to his door, Pinhead would definitely accept them, so he had to leave them here.

He also threw the remote-controlled bomb carried in the suitcase into the house.

All of this was done within 10 seconds.

Benjamin rushed outside, quickly jumped into the car, and started the engine.

Ignoring the traffic lights, he sped towards the villa on Second Avenue.

Driving with one hand, Benjamin touched the photo in his trench coat pocket to calm himself.

He picked up the phone and notified all the detectives to prevent anyone from entering the cabin, including the homeowner.

Each detective would receive an extra 10,000 pounds afterward.

Because Benjamin had acted to capture Frank before the story began, Kirsty hadn't seen him yet and was unaware that her uncle had returned from hell.

If she opened the Lemarchand's Box now, she might be dragged directly to hell.

As the High Priest, Pinhead was extremely selective about the souls of mortals.

Kirsty's ability to foresee her father's misfortune in her dreams proved her soul was very strong, which explained why the Hermit was targeting her.

Benjamin currently had no way to change the Hermit's focus on Kirsty.

Benjamin arrived at the villa's gate.

He reached out to open the door, but there was no response. He kicked it hard, but the wooden door didn't budge.

The villa door was made of wood, even with Benjamin's strength, a kick that should have shattered the door didn't cause any damage.

Benjamin glanced at the cars in the yard, turned around, got into the car with the engine still running, floored the accelerator, and rammed it into the villa door.

Thump!

The villa remained intact, but the car's hood was crushed and shattered.

Benjamin was thrown against the steering wheel by the recoil.

The airbags deployed, but fortunately, he was already a disciple and wasn't affected by the impact.

...

Inside the villa, Kirsty woke up to find milk and hamburgers on the table.

Her face beamed with happiness. After washing up, she happily ate breakfast and then carefully dressed up, feeling excited about seeing Benjamin at the pet store later.

After finishing her makeup, Kirsty came out and found a patterned cube-shaped box on the table.

Without thinking much of it, Kirsty picked up the box and began to examine it.

The box seemed to shimmer with starlight, a magical force drawing her closer. She spun it around a couple of times.

Suddenly, one half of the box automatically bulged upwards and began to deform.

Kirsty was startled and tried to press it back in, but a jolt of electricity knocked her hand away.

The box continued to deform and rotate like blooming flower petals, then burst forth with a gray light.

The bedroom wall slowly cracked open, forming a dark, long passage, an endless darkness filled with an eerie atmosphere.

Kirsty, filled with curiosity, slowly stepped into the bunker-like passage.

From the depths of the passage, countless wails and eerie cries echoed, a cacophony of infant and adult screams, chilling her to the bone.

Kirsty walked several dozen meters into the passage when she suddenly saw a deep black shadow filling the dim light ahead.

The shadow was shaped like a silkworm cocoon, its two thin upper limbs bracing against the walls on either side of the passage, securing its suspended body, while its lower two limbs dangled naturally.

Kirsty took two steps closer, and the shadow moved.

She then realized it was a monster resembling a skinned lizard, hanging upside down in the passage, its blood-red head, the size of a table, below.

Kirsty turned and ran. The door behind her slowly began to close, and the monster roared as it chased after her.

Fortunately, she hadn't gone far into the passage.

Before it closed, she dove back into the villa, blocking the monster.

Kirsty frantically picked up the box, twisting and pounding it, but to no avail.

The box flickered with electricity.

The television on the wall suddenly turned on automatically, flashing static, the room flickering between light and shadow, as if something was driving away the light.

Suddenly, as if struck by a bell, the room went completely dark.

On the table, a glass of water began to gush blood from the bottom, filling the glass before overflowing and spilling onto the surface.

The glass shattered, splattering blood everywhere.

Kirsty pulled with all her might to open the bedroom door, but it swung open in the opposite direction, revealing complete darkness outside.

Standing in the doorway was a creature with dry, wrinkled skin, no eyes, and trembling, exposed teeth.

It grabbed Kirsty by the neck, binding her to the spot.

A bolt of lightning appeared at the window, coalescing into the body of the High Priest, Pinhead.

The Gourmet's bloated form appeared beside it, accompanied by another burst of electricity, slowly licking its lips.

"Oh, no!"

"This means you summoned us,"

the High Priest, Pinhead, spoke calmly and slowly.

"Who are you?"

The bound Kirsty struggled in panic and asked.

"We are explorers from an unknown realm of transformation."

"Devils in some's eyes, angels in others'."

the High Priest replied silently, standing still.

"It's just a misunderstanding, I…I didn't want to open it."

"It's a misunderstanding, let me go. You can…go back to hell."

Kirsty said in a panic, tears streaming down her face.

"No, we can't leave without gaining anything."

Deep Throat, with a hole ripped in its throat, appeared from behind, its voice emanating from the wound on its neck.

"You opened the box, that's why we're here."

"Now you have to come with us and experience our joy."

"Please don't cry! It's a waste of beautiful suffering."

Pinhead finished speaking slowly and was about to activate the chains.

...

Outside the door, Benjamin stared at the undamaged wooden door, gritted his teeth, and knew there was no other way.

He pulled out the ice crystal ball he always carried from the spacious pocket of his trench coat.

"There are no sulfur and fire in Hell."

"Only the bitter winter!"

The words had barely left his lips when a fierce wind howled, a blizzard raged, the wind chasing the snow in rapid swirls, creating a storm that shook the courtyard to its core.

Taking advantage of the moment, Benjamin pushed hard, easily opening the gate.

His deduction was correct, the courtyard had also opened a Hell portal, allowing him to enter the inner realm.

The room was shrouded in darkness.

As the hall door opened, light streamed in through the entrance, but only penetrated an inch, unable to dispel the darkness within.

The Ice Hell Cenobite had barely appeared when he sensed the aura of the Hell High Priest, Pinhead, and immediately vanished without a trace, leaving not a single snowflake behind.

The courtyard returned to normal.
