Chapter 23 - The One She Wants
"Last wish? Why is Louie making a last wish? Did you kill him?" She blurted out, enraged.
Theon frowned, the rage visibly spreading through his face.
He seemed like he was questioning her audacity to accuse him of murdering his brother.
Well, by Argon, Idalia was starting to feel like he would just pick her up and snap her in two at any moment. She just hoped he would leave Arik out of his fury.
Or not even execute his fury at all.
Being snapped into two, now that she was thinking about it, wasn't something she was in the mood for right now.
When he finally spoke, she felt relief; something she didn't think she would ever feel with Theon.
"Please step out of the kitchen."
She obeyed without question.
Honestly, anything to get her out of his angry line of sight. But then, now, he was behind her.
What if he were to attack her from behind?
This was stupid and dangerous.
Also, he still hadn't answered her question.
