Chapter 25 - The Telephone Call
The next day came and went. Theon was there in the mansion as the routine demanded, and he had ensured she ate all her meals, as usual.
Honestly, she had never gone hungry a day in this house.
While Louie's pull back felt painful, Theon's presence felt too much, but what she loved the most was Mr Lythoryn's absence. He had been so busy she hadn't seen him, and she was glad she didn't. Her thirst to kill him was still very much present.
Saturday rolled by.
Unfortunately, she had made no progress in any of her plans. She couldn't connect with her wolf still, and now she was certain, more than ever, that the mansion and Mr Lythoryn were responsible for that.
It was driving her insane to be so useless. She knew that outside the mansion, time wasn't standing still; Alpha Kalio was still on a rampage, and Mr Lythoryn was still several steps ahead of her.
It was all so exhausting.
