The trail to the waterfall was beautiful. It was littered with butterflies, colorful flowers and bees moving about. "Did you plant any of these?" She asked motioning to the flowers along the trail. While the flowers are sporadic, they seemed to deliberately not be on the path.
"Kinda? I mean most of them were kinda already here but sometimes on missions the requester would give us seed packets. Some flowers, fruits, and vegetables. I just throw out the flower seeds when I go to the fall with Cere, I plant the fruits and veggies in the back yard. I'll show you when we get back." He smiled.
"Wow." Helena gasped looking at him in complete aw. "The more I learn, the more I'm impressed by you." She smiled softly. "Were the blueberries from your garden?" She asked taking in her surroundings, it was truly beautiful.
"Yeah." He smiled down at her. " Hold on." He said before running off into the nearby shrubs and coming back a few minutes later with some fruits. Mangoes, apples, oranges and even a pineappple. "These look amazing." Helena stared practically drooling.
"Nut uh. These are for us to eat when we get there." He smiled teasingly. "I know that." She pouted. Somehow it felt as though time stood still in the forest. She couldn't explain it, Helena felt as though there was a connection, she felt drawn to him and she couldn't tell if she liked it or not.

The waterfall was beautiful, the water was clear and waterfall itself felt like there was a secret hidden behind it. "Use ya magic to change and come on." He smiled taking off his shirt giving her a devilish smirk. Helena turned her back to him blushing before changing in a puff of thick grey smoke. She was changed into a halter neck, one piece pink swim dress with brown polka dots. Her long pink hair was wrapped into a neat bun atop her head with two long strands out by her ears.
Ryan was staring, he was now only in a red swim trunks, hair down. Helena waved her hands in front his face causing him to snap out of it and blush, it was hard to see but a tell tail sign of his embarrassment was his pointy ears constantly twitching. He swept her up in a bridal carry walking over to a flat rock and placing her on it. The rock was out the sun but close enough to the water where she couldn't explain it dip her foot in.
"What about the fruits?" She giggled using her foot to splash him with water. "Yeah, yeah." He groaned walking back over for the fruits then walking back. "Ya ready to eat or ya wanna swim first?" He asked sinking down to his shoulder in the water. She thought for a moment before jumping in. "We can swim first."
Just like that the two spent hours swimming and eating the fruits Ryan picked until it started getting dark. "I wanna show you something before we head back." He smiled sweeping her up once more. He brought her over to the waterfall, quickly walking under causing her to squeal lightly before gasping at the beauty of the other side.
"Ryan this is gorgeous." Gasped in awe. The cave was scattered with flowers and light crystals which provided a soft lighting, there was also shallow pond with light crystals along with a couple thick looking blanket on the floor. It was simple magical in a way beautiful wouldn't be able to cover.
Ryan walked in the pond as it was connected to the small lake on the outside of the waterfall, until he made it to the floor of the cave. "I come here whenever I get overstimulated or upset at the world." He smiled placing her down. "You could get mad at the world? I could you were all smiles." She grinned sitting down and dipping her foot back in. Ryan jumped up sitting beside her.
"I'm not always all smiles."
The silence that followed was peaceful, there was nothing but the sound of rushing water from the falls and the two breathing. "You can lay down if you want." Ryan yawned motioning to the blankets behind him. "I'm still a bit wet, don't wanna wet the blankets." Helena replied motioning to the water dripping from her hair.
"No make me dry magic?" Ryan teased. Helena froze facepalming. "I completely forgot, I don't use my magic for some things and forget I can't use magic to do them." she sighed standing up and using her magic to dry her completely before using magic to clean the blankets and lay down. They were really soft.
"Im not dirty ya know." Ryan mumbled from behind her. "I was thinking of bugs." She replied half heartedly before dosing off.
Helena doesn't know what time she got up as it was hard to see through the waterfall, but that was enough to tell her it was night. "Ryan." She muttered shaking the man asleep near her. Ryan sat up, staring ahead before coming back to reality. "Yeah?" He yawned, clearly still tired.
"We should head back, we need to get enough sleep so we can decorate my apartment." Helena yawned, slightly blaming him. "Ok princess." He muttered climbing into the water. He motioned for her to climb onto his back which she didn't argue with since she could see he was tired.
She used her magic to stop them from getting wet while walking under the fall assuring him she'll use magic to get their stuff so he can continue walking. Somehow the walk back felt shorter than the walk to and before she knew it they were back.
Ryan robotically opened and closed the front door walking over to the bedroom dumping Helena onto the bed causing her to bounce before diving into the other side going straight to sleep. Helena was left speechless.
"It should be fine since he's asleep." she mumbled grabbing his sheets and curling to the other side of the bed, only for him to grab her by the waist.
