After the reunion, it turned out that Kay was the one who organized it. The cool guy with a million charms invited Razel to work with him, promising profits, so that Razel's newly established small company would grow rapidly.
Razel agreed, and he invited his adopted sister, who was his secretary, to join him in London with Kay and Nadia, as Nadia had been begging to go there so they could have a honeymoon. However, it ended up being an unforgettable night for Nadia and Kay.
Nadia, who had just entered her hotel room, saw her husband awake and sitting with a happy face. "Razel, are you awake?"
"Yes. Nad, get our suitcases ready because tomorrow morning we're going home with Kay and Gizel."
"What?" Nadia looked surprised to hear what her husband said.
"Yes, I decided to go back tomorrow because Gizel, Kay, and I have a new business opportunity. Kay just offered me a new contract."
Nadia felt that Kay had something planned from the beginning when he invited her husband to work with him, and now Kay was offering another business opportunity. Was this Kay's plan to ruin her honeymoon?
"Razel, aren't you going to work with Kay at all? Why are you adding to it now?"
"Yes, actually I didn't want to work with Kay anymore, but for some reason, this collaboration that Kay is offering me could help me grow my small, newly established company into a big one in a short time." Razel smiled broadly, imagining herself owning a big company like Kay's, even surpassing her father's travel business.
"Honey, but I still want to have our honeymoon here. Didn't you also say you wanted to have our honeymoon here?" Nadia said softly.
"Come on, Nadia! If I succeed, I can take you on a honeymoon anywhere and anytime. Besides, I want to be able to help pay for your father's medical expenses without relying on my parents like I have been doing all this time."
Nadia could only remain silent. Razel approached his wife, who stood there motionless. His hands gently wrapped around Nadia's waist. He brought his face close to Nadia's pouting face.
"If you love me, you should support my dreams." Razel kissed Nadia's cheek.
For some reason, Nadia felt truly guilty towards her husband.
"So our honeymoon plans are ruined because you want that partnership?" Nadia asked again.
"Don't say that. We can have our honeymoon at home or somewhere nearby. Besides, what do we expect from a honeymoon? A child? Come on, Nad! I don't want to have children yet. I want to build my own company. Stand on my own two feet, and I hope you support that."
"I will definitely support what you want, dear, but why don't you want to have children? Won't that complete our family?"
Razel looked at Nadia with a blank stare. "I'm not ready yet, and besides, if you feel lonely at home, you can go to your mom's house or hang out with your friends, and I'm not going to let you go back to working at that cafe."
"Yes, I know, but when I hear your mom and my mom asking about wanting grandchildren, I don't know how to answer them."
"Just tell them we've tried, but it hasn't happened yet."
"I don't want to keep lying." Nadia sat weakly on her bed.
"I'll talk to them later so they don't keep burdening you with questions about children. Parents like them have so many demands," Razel sighed irritably.
"It's not that they want a lot, but what they want is very reasonable as parents, Razel. I also want us to have children."
"I don't want to have children yet, Nad." Razel looked annoyed.
Nadia could only remain silent. She then chose to prepare the things she would take home. That night, Razel was busy with his office work. He was contacting one of his employees.
"Honey, I'm going downstairs for a moment."
"Okay," replied Razel without looking at his wife.
Nadia wanted to go downstairs to buy some hot chocolate and call her best friend. It was a cold night in London because it was snowing.
As she stepped out of her bedroom door, Nadia saw Gizel in front of Kay's room, wearing a somewhat sexy outfit. Kay opened the door, and the three of them looked at each other.
"Hi, Kay." Gizel approached and gently caressed Kayrav's firm jaw.
"Hi, Gizel, come in."
"It's snowing outside and it's very cold. I brought you some wine to accompany our last night here." Gizel deliberately let Nadia know that she and Kay were going to have fun tonight.
Nadia chose to leave and for some reason, tears suddenly began to fall slowly as she looked at Kay and her sister-in-law.
Nadia sat alone with a glass of warm chocolate milk keeping her company. She then called her best friend.
Nadia told Tita everything that had happened to her because they were true friends, even closer than sisters. Tita was shocked to hear what had happened to Nadia and Kayrav.
"I don't know what to say. I also knew Kay when we were in high school. He was a good and honest boy. Don't blame him."
"He said he would take me away from Razel because, for Kay, Razel wasn't a good man. He always said that Razel was actually cheating on me behind my back."
"What?" Tita looked shocked.
"Kay said that Razel and Gizel had a relationship that went beyond being foster siblings. Razel and Gizel were a couple long before Razel and I got married."
"And you don't believe me? I knew it. Nad, I told you before that I saw your husband and Gizel hugging each other at the mall, not like brother and sister, and even on your wedding day, I saw Razel squeezing Gizel's butt, and Gizel was smiling coyly. It's disgusting, but you keep saying that Razel was probably just joking around with his sister," Tita said angrily.
"Ta, I don't like accusing people without evidence, and I don't like you saying things like that."
"Yes, I know, you won't believe it unless you see it with your own eyes, but try to find the evidence, Nad. Don't let yourself be lied to anymore."
"Never mind, Ta. I can't think about that right now. What happened with Kay makes me wonder if I can still consider myself a good wife or not?"
"You are a good wife and don't think badly of yourself because Razel is not a good man either," said Tita, still sounding annoyed.
Nadia fell silent. She was instead imagining what Kayrav was doing with Gizel in the room.
"I don't care. Kayrav and Gizel are both adults and they're still single," she murmured.
"Nad, what are you talking about?" Tita asked, puzzled.
