In the cafeteria of the academy.
At a quiet corner Alan was sitting together with Cassie eating, chatting and overall having fun.
"Alan, don't you want a girlfriend? Because with your appearance you could bag anyone" Cassie said teasing Alan.
"Girlfriend? Oh please if I wanted to bag someone I could easily but it's too early and that hellhole called dream realm ain't letting me go " Alan said with a small grin.
"Oh really? Or you can't find a girlfriend because you are afraid of girls" Cassie said teasingly.
Alan was about to say something when Cassie interupted him.
"Anyway, did you hear the last daughter of immortal flame is gonna join today and I heard she is--" Cassie was suddenly interrupted by the noise of a slap in the cafeteria.
"You creep! get away from us, you disgusting piece of shit" A random extra shouted to a young man with black hair and onyx eyes who was quite short.
The shout wasn't the thing that shocked both Alan and Cassie, Alan was shocked because after waiting for months his aspect finally worked a month before the winter solstice. And Cassie was also shocked for God knows what reason.
They had also heard the boy who called himself Sunless proclaimed that he was a divine aspect user which was quickly ignored by everyone.
Alan POV:
Sunless after getting mocked by everyone finally shut up and took a tray and finally settled down to eat, which was ok but why the hell was he sitting in there table.
I quickly made a polite smile and suggested him, "My friend it's ok to be honest but you shouldn't be too honest about your thoughts or else how would you make friends here"
"Well what can I say I am the most honest person in this world, two worlds actually" Sunless said not happy about his situation.
"Anyway you should try to lie a little to coax them a little and try to maintain yourself, you would have a lot of friends" I said jokingly.
I heard Sunless muttering in a low voice, "I know ".
" Anyway my name is Alan and my friend here is known as Cassia" I introduced trying to sound polite.
"Sunless, my name is Sunless but you can call me Sunny" Sunny said, "What course did you guys take? I took wilderness survival" Sunny said.
"I took Combat and Cassia took rune and history of dream realm." I said with a small smile.
We took our time interacting with each other, making jokes, people were staring at us continuously but we ignored them.
As we were telling about our life in academy to Sunny. The ranking of the sleeper was announced on large boards. Many sleepers were looking for their rank, comparing ranks with their friends.
But They all froze when they saw the ranking of the top 2.
"The hell! There are two people who got a True Name? " One boy said shocked.
"The hell did they do to receive one?" Another boy questioned comparing his own nightmare.
I saw my name at the top of the ranking, I just smiled it was normal but what shocked me was the No. 2.
It was the last heir of Immortal Flame Clan who had gotten a True Name at her first nightmare.
She was quickly surrounded by many legacies trying to form connection.
But what I felt was different, I could only chuckle I was chuckling because I just received a second ability and it looks like I got it from Lady last heir.
Seing me chuckle Sunny and Cassie looked at me with a puzzled look.
"What's so funny?" Sunny and Cassie asked
"Nothing it's just funny seing those legacy trying to befriend with Nephis even though they didn't help at all when her clan was failing" I said.
