Alan POV
" Should I go or should I not, should I go or should I not" This question kept coming to my mind.
"There's a change there may be a beast but on the other side there may be humans. Should I go or should I not" I asked myself in a low voice
'I will go, I need to go' I steeled my resolve and went inside the cave.
I summoned the Dusk Shard and Dawn Sword with Ray just in case for any attack.
As I further went inside the labyrinth all I saw was the bone of beast far stronger than fallen.
'Why the fuck is there so many bones. Who killed them? I should leave this labyrinth fast' I quickly climbed on Ray and said in a very low voice "Partner let's go".
Ray nodded and ran at his full speed. While riding I was guarding us by checking every corner of the labyrinth.
'Is there no one in this labyrinth? Why is the entire labyrinth empty? '
I asked this question in my mind while still keeping a guard.
After riding for a full 10 minutes in the vertebrae of an unknown beast what I saw was full world apart.
Inside the labyrinth the environment was filled with red coral like structure made up of brain but outside was a sea of ash or simply said colourless.
Beneath the shore the area was colourless area with a single exception a humongous tree which was so large it's branches spread everywhere, it's leaves was bright crimson which had quite a large impact as it was the only colourful thing in the whole barren land.
I quickly ordered Ray to go towards the tree. Ray went full speed mode toward the tree. 'Just how big is it actualIy? It's branches spread everywhere I can't even see it's peak I marvelled at the sheer size of the tree but for some reason my half side of the brain was actually agreeing me with my plan.
I was actually planning to stay at the tree for the night and use it's wood to build a boat to travel through the vast dark sea, I knew traveling through the sea was a terrible idea but what choice did I had? I have been fucking alone in this God forsaken land for almost 2 months with multiple ugly looking crabs coming to ambush me.
As I reach near the tree I quickly set up my camp, eat a hearty meal.
I had consider eating the fruit from the tree but it looked so suspicious, a tree in the middle of a colorless baren area which bore fruits with colour of blood. Yea boss I have watched many horror movies to have trust issues against non moving things.
I went to sleep, but before I slept I had ordered Ray to protect me so I should be good.
The next day as soon as the sun rised, I woke up. I quickly ate my breakfast and use my memory to summon a axe which helped me collect wood faster but it still took a lot of day time, the sun started to set and I quickly went to the tree.
After living in the tree for a week I have been feeling like something was missing, I was safe from sudden ambush, I had a safe place to rest so why did it felt like something was missing.
I tried to remembered what was missing but my thoughts were somehow forgotten like I suddenly have no memory of that thought.
I was sleeping in the tree when suddenly I was in void a place filled with complete darkness, I was trying to figure out why was I here.
When suddenly a female voice came resounding in my ears which echoed through that void.
"My dear Alex are you really going to fall at a place like this?"
'That voice! I can't forget that voice it was her, she is the one who killed me. She was the one shot me and the reason of my transmigration here So, why am I shedding tears at her embrace' My thought echoed throughout the voice.
Hearing the voice 'She' smiled and said "It's not the time yet, you are still too weak to know, but as a parting gift for now here you go" 'She' said as 'She' released me from her embrace and my vision blanked.
I was in the tree with tears still flowing out my ears but I ignored it, I was still in shock but suddenly the cold voice of the spell resounded in my ears.
For some reason I felt that the spell was angry for some reason as she would usually say in a sweet voice.
