I heard the soft voice of the spell which woke me up but I realized I was butt naked in a open chilling shore beyond it was a vast dark sea.
In front of me was a skeleton who was sitting in somewhat a meditating pose but what interest me was the gemstone on his skull.
I quickly equip my [Knights Armour] with the [Dawn Sword] and went toward the skeleton, I took the small gemstone when suddenly the spell said with a soft voice.
[You have obtained memory: Dawn Shard]
It shocked me that such a small gemstone was a memory but what shocked me even more was the memory just made my armour even more stronger.
I quickly regroup my thoughts and quickly search for any suitable memory for this situation cause I was alone with a skeleton and a note saying here lies the First Bright Lord.
I used my memories to look for any suitable memory to help in this situation when I realized the didn't I have a navigation memory? .
I quickly summoned the memory [People Locater]. This memory find the soul energy of humans.
[People Locater] Yes this was a memory created by my clansman to locate each other as for the name we can say he has a unique style.
I quickly tried searching for Cassie but it seems they were a little too far.
So I tried searching for nearby humans and it pointed toward the North and that goes inside a cave.
I went inside the cave and I would say I was quite surprised because the inside of the cave was so large it could fit a entire 2 floor building.
The cave was filled with sandstone and wall that looked like it was made up of pure obsidian, in the middle was a unfinished statue which looked like it wanted to escape.
Yea this cave is definitely creepy.
But what I saw in front of me was even more creepy.
I saw a massive, winged creature with a pale body and black feathers stained by blood. When its terrifying beak was open, it reveals rows of sharp, needle-like fangs and a long red tongue.
I could say it was a fallen monster from it's looks and presence. I really want to skip the boss fight but there was no way.
I summoned Ray my trusted echo, he was a large white lion.
"Ok at the count of 3 we're gonna jump at this bastard ok Ray?" I asked Ray and he simply gave me a nod.
"Ok 1...2...3 Jump!" We both surprised attacked it somehow were able to harm it's wings.
The monster was somehow able to throw us off and gave a loud shriek enough to almost make us deaf.
Then the monster rushed at us with its beak open but Ray rushed in clashed with him, I sprinted toward it's leg and gave a clean cut, cutting it's one leg. The Monster fell to the ground and I quickly jumped away and Ray cleaved off that nasty bird's head killing it.
The soft voice of the spell resounded in my ears.

I quickly summoned a large shield which quickly bored me as I didn't use a shield I checked it's runes

Ok this shield is quite good and I think it says it can get as light as feather? If someone asked if I am going to use this large shield? Yes sir I am gonna use it a large fight.
I quickly stored the meat and the soul shard of the Cursed Herald when suddenly the water level started rising.
This shocked the heck out of me, I quickly climb the statue and spend the rest of my night on the statue eating the Herald's meat. 'That sounds so sus' I laughed.
And hence my first night in this godforsaken world was over.
