Third person POV. -- 16th of July -- 2407 --
[ Shizuoka Prefecture ]
Benihana Tetsuya didn't solely decide to come home for a few days out of missing his family. Well, a big part of it may have been that reason, but another part of it involves an incident that happened a few years back, during the times where he still hadn't made it into the top 10 yet
It was about a case of robbey. 3 small time villains had made it big by robbing from a bank in Ketsurin City, Shizuoka Prefecture, the same place where Redvein's agency was established. It was the start of his career so this particular case was from his earlier times
The trio of villains had actually planned this heist for months now, and had been able to get away with the money too, but unluckily for them, they ran right into Redvein himself, a variable they couldn't hope to plan for in advance
Because that same day, Redvein was on the streets, patrolling them for the first time and familiarising himself with the place. The villains's luck had just run out that they came right before the man
The pro hero, a young man of 21 years old, was a very sharp person, immediately putting one and one together, and seeing right through the villains
He got ready and quickly pounced on them, not giving the villains a chance to retaliate any further. One of the villains, the skinny one among them, could turn his feet into spring-like contraptions, allowing him higher jumping ability and sudden acceleration from his current spot
The second villain, a dude with average built, but having gigantic hammer-like hands, acting as the groups tank and damage dealer. And the third and last one among them, a woman who had brown colored cables instead of hair, having the ability to absorb electricity using her hair strands that she let become longer. Though if she absorbs more than 25AMPs her body would lock in place
The trio of villains got engaged with Redvein in the middle of the road, pedestrians walking by quickly evacuated the area, though they still were a few feet away to watch the ongoing scuffle
Redvein, when he began circulating more blood inside his body, was able to match and even surpass the hammer handed villain, overpowering him in a brawl while the female electric absorbing villain quickly took out some AA batteries from her pockets
She connected them to her hair, quickly absorbing electricity until she hit her limit of 25amp, boosting her strength 2 times and becoming another close fighter
Though, she still didn't have much of a shot against Redvein, together though, she and the hammer handed guy were able to match him for a few seconds, Buying time for the third villain to quickly take a hostage
"STOP! LET US GO OR HE GETS IT! " the spring villain yells, having a knife to a office worker's throat, carelessly drawing a little blood already because of his panicking
Redvein, seeing this quickly jumps back, before putting his hands up a little. "hey! You don't have to do this! Let the civilian go! " The pro hero yells, while the two he was engaged with catch their breath and back away towards their friend
"Don't make any sudden moves! Or he gets it! " The spring villain threatens, the villain trio quickly starting to back away towards a vehicle parked to the side, taking the civilian with them
Redvein has no choice but to just stand bye and let them escape, though not before discreetly putting a tracker on the vehicle By extending it through the ground with his blood control and attaching it to the back of the car, something the three villains were too distracted to notice
Once they start the car and begin driving away, the back door is opened and the civilian is dropped out, and Redvein quickly catches him before he falls and hurts himself
Redvein gets up after seeing the civilian safe. He walks a few feet, before closing his eyes, concentrating on controlling his inner blood
The Benihana family are famous for manifesting quirks that most of the time revolve around blood control. These abilities aren't just simple control of ones blood either though, sometimes, they get additional effects like the boilding effect Tetsuya's have
But more than anything, the users of these type of quirk are called blood manipulators for a reason. They control their inner blood both inside andoutside of their body, giving them levitating properties using hardened blood under their feet to work as a moving platform
In this way, many of the Benihana bloodline has been able to touch the skies of this world!
Redvein makes a shallow cut from his wrist using an automatic contraption installed in his suit, expelling blood from his hand and letting it hover before him. He concentrates, making the blood harden to the point of steel, before hovering it before him and jumping on top of it, begining to fly after the escaping villains
As for the risk of his body producing too much blood, thus resulting in blood loss, don't worry. The Benihana family bloodline has evolved enough to overcome this fatal weakness five generations ago.
Five generations ago they overcame this fatal weakness through simple quirk evolution. Now, their Hematopoiesis- the process where the body produces blood for the human body, has evolved to the point where they can regenerate their bloodin the span of just a few seconds, eliminating the weakness of blood loss for them
Redvein tails the stolen vehicle until the trio get to a delapitated area of the city. There he sees from above in the sky, as they get out of the car and quickly head to an abandoned house, looking left and right in vigilance, never thinking of looking up for the current not so famous pro hero
Redvein waits for a while, until he knows the villains have put down their guard, before he suddenly bursts into their hideout through the window on the 3rd floor, taking them by surprise one by one, and this time puts them down without interruption
Police gets to the area a few minutes later, having tracked the tracking device on the stolen car, and arrests the villain trio
But that is where something goes very wrong
The cables for hair villain, the female one, starts to frantically shout once she regains consciousness and sees she's being cuffed
"no... No NO NOOOO!!!" she begins to shout and thrash around, "I'LL NEVER GO BACK TO PRISON AGAIN!!!! " she yells, before biting on something in between her teeth
The other 2 villain yell out "" EMILY NO! DON'T DO IT! "" They both yell, but it's too late. The female villain, Emily, suddenly starts producing MASSIVE Electricity around herself!
5MILLION VOLTS!!!
She fries the people and handcuff a few feet around herself, before she too begins turning into chalk, dying then and there! Leaving behind the two devestated villains, her two brothers, behind
Later after investigation, the police find out that she had a tiny device tucked inside one of her emptied tooth, allowing for when she presses it, she gets 5 MILLION volts suddenly absorbed in her body, and her body being a conduit –although a very weak one, only stronger from average human body by a few measely amps, will force expell that electricity, killing her in the process
In the end it was signed as self-suicide and Redvein wasn't held responsible. Though the now dead villain's two brothers had other ideas...

Now, after 6 years, those two same villains have paid their sentence and has been discharged from prison, their crimes not being big enough –just a few robberies–, and they immediately got under police radar again for another small jewelry store they robbed
They were sighted around Hinode City, so that's the reason Redvein is heading there, having a bad gut feeling and being a man who follows his instincts
He'll be at his residence with his family, while also keeping an eye out for the villains if they show up. Chances are they won't, because Hinode city is mostly home to the wealthy, powerful, influential, and strong pro hero families. The crime rate there is very low, so the villains won't target it.

It's the folowing day at 06:00 am in the morning, a day after Redvein appeared in the musutafu incident, and solved it without any commentation before leaving the site
1 kilometers from the Benihana estate, a sleek black Limousine is seen driving towards the estate on these quiet streets of Hinode City.
Within the vehicle is the driver, an elderly who serves the head of the Benihanas for 2 generations now, a man of foreign birth. His name is Mike and he has a quirk that helps him be in a better condition for his age, atleast for maybe 150 years, currently he is 80 years of age but still strong and in the youth of his years, his hair only now beginning to grey out from the short black locks he has. His wise grey eyes are on the road, occasionally drifting to the side mirror, where he sees Redvein, though right now he is simply Benihana Tetsuya, looking to his phone or outside the window, his face in a perpetual frown,
"Young master" Mike calls in fluent japanese, having been calling him that since the day of his birth, "we are close to the estate now. Please do try and put your family before your work for once" He says, getting a sigh from Tetsuya. "I know. It's just about the last case. Something is just nagging at me, as if telling me something will happen" Tetsuya says, letting out a sigh
"Young master, i understand your vigilantism regarding the escapee villains. Believe me i understand. But there are places and times for stuff like this. Now i know i can't convince you to get your head out of the gutter and spend quality time with your family, i still urge you to do so" He informs
Tetsuya sighs, before putting away his phone, his attention now outside, his mind going to his awaiting wife and child. How they must be, how they will feel once he –hopefully, surprises them by coming home unannounced. 'Heh, bet they'll be shocked', a small smirk marks his face.
Tetsuya may be a man of focus and commitment, but with his family he is simply Tetsuya, the casual, easy laughing father who loves his daughter and wife
Anyways, the limousine gets to the front gates of the estate, before entering and going to the mansion. his home, where his wife and daughter are, peacefully unaware of his arrival. or are they?
As the car parks before the mansion doors, and Tetsuya gets out of the car, Mike pulls the car away to its parking lot before joining Tetsuya in going in
They head to the front door, and open the sliding doors, heading inside after changing their boots with normal house sandals. Tetsuya head towards the living room, while Mike excuses himself to go get freshened up and bring refreshments for the hot weather, always the fine butler that he is
Tetsuya enters the living room, his eyes automatically assessing around him, something he does instinctively, and doesn't see anyone
Come to think of it, he hasn't seen anyone from the moment he entered the mansion. No maid, no other person walking the long corridors of the place. 'What is going on? ' he questions, his mind going back to his previous thoughts in the car, 'Don't tell me! ' his eyes widen! But before he can begin panicking...
Tak! TA TA TAK TAK!
"WELCOME HOOOME!!! " He spins around so fast it's a wonder how his neck is still intact. In front of him, there is an assembly of maids and butlers, atleast 20 people, some of them holding emptied cans of bomb confettis in hand.
but most of all, in front of them is his wife, smiling lightly and looking at him, and his daughter, being a replica of Kie but smaller, also looking at Tetsuya with a serene smile
The mother daughter duo get before Tetsuya and the family of 3 hug each other for a wholesome moment, before breaking up and leading him to sit down
"How did you know i was coming? " Tetsuya questions, though he has his suspisions, nevertheless he has a big smile on his face
"Oh come on! performing a big show in the middle of Musutafu –the city closest to here and farther from Ketsurin -his hero agency city-, then after solving the case, running away without any commentary, hoping we wouldn't see the news? Of course it would be obvious where you're headed dear" Kie is smirking while explaining, making Tetsuya shake his head
"I couldn't just pass by while a crime was ongoing" He explains, getting a light shove in the shoulder from Kie, –something she's done since they were kids. "A hero through and through~" Kie sing songs, before lightly giggling
Retsu, who is seeing the love between her two parents, is smiling lightly 'good for them' she thinks, her old heart being moved by the budding love she's witnessing
Refreshments are brought for the family of trio, and they enjoy them peacefully, while talking with each other, laughing and having an over all great times
'It's moments like these that can make even my old heart beat in happiness' Retsu thinks, her mind occasionally going to the past in reminiscence...
"So anyways, how long are you gonna be here? " Kie asks, getting Tetsuya to think. "Hmm, Maybe around a week, atleast until i haven't shown myself to the public. If my whereabouts are exposed then i have no choice but to go back to Ketsurin." He informs,
"who knew being a top 10 was important enough that your presence alone could change crime rates within a whole city" He smirks, boasting about his status –something he doesn't do with anyone else at all
"Ooooh~ then i guess we'll have to hide you real good then~" Kie smirks playfully while playing with his tie, " The master bedroom is a very good hiding spot you know~" Kie chirps playfully, getting the powerful hero to audibly Gulp his saliva
The back and forth goes on like this, the parents thinking Retsu wouldn't understand the Innuendos they're making, –no matter her intelligence, she should not be able to understand these things. after all, even if smart, she is but a child. They don't know that the being before them is over a thousand years old
But Retsu doesn't mind, her mentality being too old to feel flustered about these things.
After a while, they get back to an important topic, about the proposal Kie and Retsu talked about. "Dear, how about we visit the beach? I talked with Retsu Honey over here and we thought it would be a good family trip" Kie says, getting Tetsuya to contemplate
"A family trip to the beach? " He asks, "yes, I'll reschedule my time at the hospital now that you are home for at least a week. We can go, the three of us" She smiles at Tetsuya, making the man frown in contemplation
'The villains haven't been found yet, and if they're targeting my family when we're away, their plan won't work either. If they stir up trouble around or within Hinode city or any other place, there are other pros to take care of them. I originally came to insvestigate and find them before they do something drastic, but let's leave the others to handle it. After all, it's been a while since I've spend time with my family' Tetsuya, concludes,
before smiling brightly and agreeing to the idea, getting Kie to smile back before the 2 share a passionate kiss. Retsu, having long inhaled the refreshments and gone away to the library to continue with her studies

While the family is getting ready to head to a vacation, elsewhere, in an unknown building nestled around the dilapitated areas outside of hinode city
In an abandoned town close to Hinode City , three people can be seen hiding inside a half-finished building. The first figure, somone in a black hood, hiding their identity completely
despite the harsh weather, their visage is completely concealed under the hood, unknown while only showing 2 yellow dots for eyes, looking outside towards the distant Hinode City
The other 2,the two villain brothers who are out for blood. Now that they have enough ammunition from the black market after robbing a jewelry store after they got out of prison
Their visage has toughened up, clearly having been working out while in prison. The skinny one now sports clear visible muscles, showing his improved body for the sole purpose of revenge. The other one, The hammer for hand villain, having become even bulkier, his hammer hands so much more stronger, and his hunched 190cm height from before having become 195 now (6'4 ft) , same as the one he's here to take revenge against
"Are you sure this is the way he went? " The spring villain, his voice scraggly, full of insanity, just like his unfocused eyes show, asks the figure under the black hood, who nods their head, the yellow glowing dots for eyes glowing a little
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go! " Says the Hammer villain, his voice like grinding rocks, full of anger and hate
"Yeah we would, but that's Hinode city you idiot! " Spring villain hisses, "it's where most pro heroes and wealthy people live." He says, while his eyes are full of hate, in his hand is a special gun, one who's bullet stuns the blood of somone who it hits, the stun works for a full 1 minute, it's poison being produced from a snake's body, plenty of time to kill somone under those conditions
The bullet and gun alone cost them almost their entire spoils, in the end only getting 1 bullet, and recruiting a specific mercenary from the black market
Mercenaries being villains who sell their use for a price. This one beside them having the quirk to track anyone after theyregister their scent. And for a whole month too on top of that. This one doesn't talk though, for some reason
"We'll wait for when he leaves the city" The spring villain concludes. "Once he's out, and his guard is down, we'll ambush and kill him once and for all" A sinister smirk marks the villain's face, the plan made up, and now all that's left is to wait for Tetsuya to leave the city

Authors Note/ a little family vacation for the Benihana family, as well as an old nemesis coming for Tetsuya
What will the pro hero do? Can he even do anything when he doesn't know when and where the villains will strike from? Guess we'll wait and find out in future episodes. Stay tuned guys!
