Chapter 34 - Chapter 34 [FIXED]

Silence fell over the battlefield.

My golden aura shimmered in the sunlight radiant, but a little too short for my liking.

Anyways, Frieza was dead.

Very dead.

In my old body.

And now i need to look for the bloody dragon balls.

I rolled my new shoulders, adjusting to the alien body. Everything felt lighter, sharper, terrifyingly efficient. This form was built for space, i remember right.

Which, unfortunately, it didn't match my vides.

Across the field, the remaining Frieza Force soldiers stood frozen in horror. Some had already started backing away. Others were shaking so badly their scouters were rattling.

Their emperor[me] point a finger at them, as he was about to start blasting at them.

Except… it wasn't their dum emperor.

It was ME DIO.

And I was absolutely ready to finish the job.

As i raised my hand, ki beginning to gather at my fingertip. The familiar hum of destruction built in the air.

"These idiots" I said, voice echoing with Frieza's cold resonance, "are the idiots who revived Frieza...me.....whatever."

The soldiers flinched.

"time to nip the probrem in the bud."

My finger glowed brighter.

"Any last words, worms."

A blast began to form.

And then...

"Ben, Wait!"

A voice shouted from behind.

I turned.

Gohan stood there, breathing hard, his eyes locked onto mine, or technically Frieza's. His fists were clenched, but his expression was calm. Resolute.

"Stop."

I lowered my hand slightly. "You're going to tell me we shouldn't kill them, aren't you?"

Gohan stepped closer. "Without Frieza, they're harmless. With no leader. Their just scattered soldiers."

I stared at him.

"Harmless?"

I gestured to the trembling aliens.

"These are the reason Frieza came back."

Gohan nodded slowly. "I know."

"And they've conquered worlds, on the daily," I continued. "Burned civilizations. Slaughtered billions. Because they can, and you know that right."

Gohan's gaze softened. just painfully sincere.

"And next time," he said quietly, "we'll make sure they never get the Dragon Balls again."

Vegeta suddenly stepped beside me, arms crossed, aura simmering.

"Why," he said flatly, "why are we letting them live, again, so we'll stay at the moral high ground?"

His voice carried weight. Not rage. Just Judgment.

Gohan's eyes flickered downward.

He didn't have an answer.

The wind blew between us.

Then...

A sudden roar of engines split the air.

A small spherical ship dropped from the sky, landing awkwardly in a cloud of dust.

The hatch burst open.

Bulma hopped out, brushing dirt off her jacket, followed immediately by a tiny blue alien in a Galactic Patrol uniform, sunglasses gleaming far too confidently for someone three feet tall.

"Did someone say criminal empire?" Jaco announced proudly. "Because that's my department."

Everyone turned.

Bulma waved cheerfully. "Hey guys! Heard there was another alien invasion! Again!"

Jaco marched forward, pointing dramatically at the Frieza Force.

"These individuals are wanted across twelve galaxies for war crimes, illegal conquest, planetary enslavement, and terrible fashion sense!"

The soldiers blinked.

Jaco smirked.

"I can take them all to Galactic Patrol prison. Maximum-security asteroid sector. No escape. At the Rainbow Prison, where they will never see light again."

Piccolo exhaled slowly. "That solves the problem."

Vegeta clicked his tongue. "I still think it's safer to kill them."

Jaco pointed at him. "And that is why I have a badge and you do not."

Vegeta growled.

Goku laughed.

I lowered my hand fully, the glow fading.

"…Fine," I said. "They can live."

The Frieza Force collectively sighed in relief.

Bad move.

Because the moment they relaxed, every Z Fighter moved at once.

...

Tien dropped from the sky like a missile, flattening three soldiers instantly.

Piccolo stretched his arm across the battlefield, clotheslining an entire platoon into a cliff face.

Vegeta moved like a blur, knocking out soldiers faster than they could blink, muttering insults with every strike.

Gohan kept apologizing while punching people unconscious.

Roshi used a cane.

No one wanted to talk about that.

'Hehe...he old'

Within minutes, the once-feared Frieza Force lay groaning in neatly arranged piles, tied up with ropes, alien cuffs, and one unfortunate group zip-tied by Bulma because she'd come prepared.

Some of the soldiers stared in confusion.

One whispered to another, "Why is Lord Frieza beating us?"

Because I was still in Frieza's body.

I walked through the wreckage, hands behind my back, mimicking Frieza's regal float just to be petty.

"I've restructured management," I announced. "Congratulations. You're all fired."

Jaco snapped pictures for evidence.

As he called for backup.

....

Minutes later, larger ships descended. Uniformed Galactic Patrol officers poured out, professional and heavily armed.

They quickly loaded the captured soldiers into containment pods.

Jaco saluted proudly.

Bulma yawned. "Well, that was fun. Anyone want lunch?"

Then one of the Patrol officers froze mid-step.

He pointed at me.

"…Lord Frieza?"

Every blaster in the area immediately locked onto my head.

Uh-oh.

Jaco spun around. "Wait wait wait, don't shoot!"

The officer shouted, "Step away from the prisoners, Emperor!"

Vegeta smirked. "This should be entertaining."

Piccolo facepalmed.

Gohan muttered, "Of course this would happen…"

I raised both hands calmly.

"Easy. I'm not actually Frieza."

The officer squinted.

"…That sounds exactly like something Frieza would say."

Jaco sprinted in front of me, waving his arms.

"It's true! It's true! They did a body swap! Long story! Very heroic! Minimal paperwork!"

The officer hesitated.

"…You expect us to believe the tyrant of the universe gave his body to a human?"

I shrugged. "He did stab me through the chest. We improvised."

The officer blinked slowly.

"…That checks out."

Jaco leaned in, whispering, "Space law allows soul displacement incidents under self-defense clauses. I read the manual once."

"Cool"

The officer lowered his weapon.

"…Very well. But we'll need to scan you to confirm Frieza's life force signature is gone."

I smiled.

"Please do."

The scan passed instantly.

The officer's eyes widened.

"…Emperor Frieza is deceased."

Jaco clapped his tiny hands. "Case closed!"

Vegeta muttered, "this was dum."

Goku grinned. "Kinda cool though!"

Bulma poked my golden arm. "So… how long are you stuck like this?"

I flexed my fingers again, feeling the terrifying power humming smoothly.

"…Until we get the dragon balls," I said. "Which might take a while."

Roshi gave a thumbs up. "Nice glow-up, kid."

I sighed.

"a pun about my golden skin, how original."

....

The Galactic Patrol ships lifted off, carrying away the bound Frieza Force, the criminals finally locked behind bars.

The battlefield grew quiet again.

Goku broke the silence.

"So… who wants dinner?"

Everyone laughed.

Even Vegeta smirked.

Ben's power level: ?????
