A few days goes by.....
The sky was blue. The oceans were calm. Birds chirped. Farmers farmed. Cats napped in the sun.
And somewhere in a forest clearing, Vegeta was doing push-ups on one finger while screaming at the dirt for being too soft here.
'Why is he doing that?????'
Goku was sparring with Piccolo.
Gohan was pretending to talking to someone on the phone, but secretly punching air when no one looked.
Tien was meditating.
We were all testing, our new power up.
As Krillin was there, enjoying life.
As for me.
I was sitting on a rock, as the power boost wasn't as big as god ki.
That's when the sky split.
A ripple in space opened like a curtain being pulled aside. Light poured out. Wind howled.
Two figures descended.
Beerus, God of Destruction, lazily floating, arms crossed, tail flicking.
And Whis, smiling politely, staff glowing faintly.
Everyone froze.
Even Vegeta stopped his push-ups mid-rep.
Beerus landed first, dust puffing around his feet. Whis followed like a gentleman stepping off a luxury limousine.
Beerus yawned.
"Earth still exists. Good."
Goku waved cheerfully.
"Hey Beerus!"
Vegeta straightened immediately, wiping sweat that wasn't there.
"Lord Beerus. What brings you here?"
Beerus glanced at him.
"…Food problem."
Whis tapped his staff lightly.
"It appears Lord Beerus has entered… a culinary conflict."
I tilted my head.
"A war, over food?"
Whis smiled.
"A small tournament, actually."
...
Beerus floated higher, pride swelling in his voice.
"There is another universe, Universe Six, ruled by a fat cat named Champa."
He said the name like it tasted sour.
"He claims he has tasted the most delicious egg in existence."
Vegeta frowned.
"…Egg?"
Beerus pointed dramatically.
"Eggs. Soft. Perfect. Green and While, Heavenly. Better than anything i had in my long life."
Goku blinked.
"…Better than Chi-Chi's breakfast?"
Beerus didn't answer. Which was answer enough.
Whis continued.
"Lord Beerus challenged Lord Champa to a tournament. Five fighters from each universe. Winner gets the Super Dragon Balls."
Piccolo narrowed his eyes.
"Super Dragon Balls?"
Whis nodded.
"Planet-sized wish-granting orbs capable of granting any wish."
Krillin swallowed loudly.
"That sounds… dangerous."
Beerus waved his hand.
"Details later. Important part: if I win, I get the bird that lays those eggs."
Vegeta stared.
"…You're fighting over a chicken."
Beerus glared.
"…A DIVINE chicken."
Goku burst out laughing.
Tien quietly facepalmed.
I leaned toward Piccolo.
"Pretend i said something smart, and nod."
Piccolo nodded.
"…Indeed."
....
Whis looked over the gathered group like a teacher picking students for dodgeball.
"Lord Beerus requires five warriors, and your best mind you."
Goku raised his hand instantly.
"Me!"
Vegeta stepped forward.
"Obviously me."
Piccolo nodded once.
"I will go."
Krillin lifted his hand halfway.
"Uh...i-"
Beerus cut him off.
"No, i will not take my chances with weaklings."
Krillin lowered his hand sadly.
Whis turned to me.
"And you, Ben. Lord Beerus has expressed interest in your power, care to join."
Beerus smirked.
"Also, i hear form Whis that you fight dirty. That pleases me, greatly, You will Join, i'm not asking."
I shrugged.
"Fair enough."
Whis tapped his staff again.
"And the final fighter will be..."
And just then...
A small, red guy waddled out from behind Whis, wearing green one-zy.
"Monaka, at your service."
Everyone blinked.
Goku whispered.
"…Who's he?"

Whis lifted his staff. Light wrapped around us. Space folded.
And after a few minutes, moving form inside a white box.
We were standing on a massive floating arena in empty cosmic void.
Stars glittered endlessly around us.
On the opposite platform stood Universe Six's team.
Five warriors. One of them a lean Saiyan with black hair and calm eyes.
He looked directly at Vegeta, and Goku.
Vegeta's eyes sharpened.
"A Saiyan?"
Whis nodded.
"That one is Cabba. A Saiyan of Universe Six."
Goku grinned.
"Cool! Another Saiyan!"
Vegeta crossed his arms, but you could feel his pride flare.
....
Beerus clapped his hands.
"Ben. You go first."
I stepped forward casually.
But two hands grabbed my shoulders.
Goku and Vegeta.
Simultaneously.
I turned.
Goku smiled nervously.
"Uh… Beerus…"
Vegeta spoke firmly.
"Lord Beerus. This one is… excessive."
Beerus raised an eyebrow.
"Excessive?"
Vegeta gestured toward me.
"He ends fights instantly. Most of the time, Permanently. There may not be an opponent left if he fights first."
Goku nodded quickly.
"Yeah! He likes… to win a fight, if he could end a fight, he will."
Beerus smirked.
"That sounds Prefect."
Goku scratched his head.
"But the tournament needs multiple rounds, right. If Ben goes first, there may be a tournament."
Ben: >:)
Beerus considered this.
"Killing isn't allowed....so"
Vegeta added.
"It would be… wasteful."
Beerus flicked his tail.
"…Fine. Son Goku goes first."
Goku pumped his fist.
"Yes!"
I shrugged.

As Goku stepped toward the arena center, I walked over to Beerus.
He glanced down.
"What?"
I pulled out a small cup.
"Here."
Beerus blinked.
"…Food?"
I handed him instant noodles.
Steaming. Plain. No seasoning packet.
Beerus sniffed.
Aroma of… almost nothing.
He slurped.
Chewed.
Swallowed.
His eyes widened slightly.
"…Interesting texture."
I leaned closer.
"Now imagine this."
I whispered dramatically.
"Every single food on Earth tastes better than this shit."
Beerus froze.
His ears twitched.
His pupils shrank.
"…Every?"
I nodded solemnly.
"Yes. Every. Single. One."
Beerus slowly raised the noodle cup again like it was sacred.
"…Then this tournament is meanless."
Whis chuckled behind him.
Vegeta whispered to me.
"…What did you do?."
I whispered back.
"…you might not beleive me, but i am no ordinary human, i am the Le-."
As Vegeta punch me in the face.
....
The neutral angel referee floated between both teams.
"Welcome. First match. Son Goku of Universe Seven… versus Botamo of Universe Six."
The match was about to begin.
