On one side stood Universe Seven's team.
Beerus lounged on a floating cushion, lazily slurping the last of his instant noodles. Whis stood behind him, serene as always. Piccolo meditated cross-legged. Monaka sat there. Vegeta stood rigid, arms folded. I leaned casually against a pillar that wasn't there a moment ago but conveniently existed anyway.
And at the front....
Goku.
Opposite him stood Universe Six's first fighter.
Botamo.
A massive yellow bear-like creature with a round belly, tiny eyes, and a blank expression that made him look more like a plush toy than a warrior. Yet his calm stance radiated quiet confidence.
The angel referee floated between them.
"Match one. Son Goku of Universe Seven versus Botamo of Universe Six. Begin!"
A bell chimed across reality.
And Goku vanished.
....
Goku reappeared in front of Botamo with a grin.
"Alright! Let's go!"
He threw a straight punch to Botamo's stomach.
The impact landed.
A solid thud echoed.
But Botamo didn't move.
Didn't flinch.
Didn't even blink.
Goku blinked instead.
"…Huh?"
He punched again. Harder. Faster. A blur of fists and kicks followed, Goku's base form striking with precision and power that could crack mountains.
Yet every hit sank into Botamo's body like striking an inflated rubber wall. No pain. No damage. No reaction.
Botamo simply stood there, absorbing everything.
Beerus leaned forward slightly.
"Oh? His body disperses impact force."
Whis nodded.
"Indeed. Physical and energy-based attacks are rendered harmless."
Piccolo narrowed his eyes.
"A living shock absorber."
Vegeta snorted.
"Tch. Kakarot better not embarrass us."
Goku hopped backward, scratching his head.
"Okay… that's weird."
He raised his hands and fired a Kamehameha.
Blue light roared across the arena, engulfing Botamo completely.
When the glow faded...
Botamo stood there untouched. Smoke drifted harmlessly off his fur.
Goku stared.
"…You're kidding."
Botamo finally spoke, his voice low and flat.
"You cannot hurt me."
Goku grinned.
"Heh. Maybe not by hitting you."
....
Goku suddenly rushed forward again, but instead of punching, he ducked low, wrapped his arms around Botamo's waist, and lifted.
Botamo's eyes widened for the first time.
"What..?"
Goku's muscles bulged as he pushed upward, feet cracking the arena floor beneath him. Inch by inch, he hoisted the massive creature off the ground.
Beerus smirked.
"Simple solution. No damage needed if there's no ground to stand on."
With a roar, Goku hurled Botamo skyward, then vanished and reappeared above him, driving both of them downward toward the edge of the arena.
They crashed near the boundary line.
Botamo stumbled, arms flailing.
Goku appeared behind him again and delivered a final shove.
Botamo slid over the glowing edge and fell on the ground, losing the round.
The angel raised his hand.
"Winner: Son Goku of Universe Seven."
A slow clap, came from Vegeta, me, and Piccolo.[i did it]
Goku pumped his fist.
"Yes!"
Vegeta nodded once, satisfied.
Beerus returned to his cushion, pleased.
Monaka fainted sitting.
....
A sleek white figure stepped forward from Universe Six's side.
Smooth bio-armor. Purple gems. With a smile.
Frost.
He bowed politely.
"It is an honor. I am Frost."
Goku waved cheerfully.
"Hi! I'm Goku!"
The referee raised his hand again.
"Match two. Son Goku versus Frost. Begin!"
Goku rushed forward immediately.
Frost dodged elegantly, Goku attacked, Frost countered. Energy blasts lit the arena as the two clashed, exchanging blows too fast for normal eyes to follow.
At first, they seemed evenly matched.
But gradually…
Frost began to struggle.
Goku's instinct, speed, Raw Power, and cheerful relentlessness pressed him harder and harder. A punch sent Frost skidding. A kick cracked his guard. A quick elbow knocked him off balance.
Frost wiped a trace of blood from his lip, eyes narrowing.
"So… you force my hand."
His aura flared.
Power exploded outward.
Frost's final form at full power emerged, pushing Goku back several steps.
Beerus sat up again.
"Oh? He was holding back."
Vegeta smirked.
"Kakarot forced him already. Good."
Now the battle shook the arena. Frost's blows landed harder. Goku blocked, dodged, countered. Shockwaves rippled outward.
Goku laughed even while fighting.
"This is sooo much fun!"
But Frost's smile had changed. Less polite. More predatory.
...
Frost suddenly lunged, one fist extended.
Goku dodged, but Frost's wrist brushed his arm.
Barely a graze.
Goku landed lightly, still smiling.
But something felt… off.
A strange chill crawled through his muscles.
His smile faltered.
"…Huh?"
His knees bent slightly.
My eyes snapped open.
"…The Poison."
I stepped downwords.
And in a flash, I was beside Frost.
I grabbed his wrist and lifted his arm, exposing a tiny hidden needle embedded in his forearm.
A drop of shimmering venom clung to its tip.
Gasps echoed across the arena.
"You know, your cheating, right" I said calmly.
Frost froze.
The angel referee's eyes sharpened.
"This is a violation...."
Goku raised a hand weakly.
"Wait."
Everyone turned.
Goku stood, breathing heavier now, poison coursing through him. Yet his eyes burned bright.
"I still want to fight him."
Beerus barked.
"Goku, you're poisoned, you Idioit!"
Goku smiled stubbornly.
"Yeah. But I can still move."
I shrug.
The angel hesitated, then nodded.
"Very well. The match continues."
I released Frost's arm and stepped back.
Frost smiled again, though now with a hint of unease.
"So you noticed. Very well… let us finish this."
...
Goku exhaled slowly.
His body glowed faintly as he pushed the poison aside through sheer willpower.
Frost lunged again,
But this time, Goku vanished completely.
A blur of strikes hammered Frost from every angle. Too fast. Too precise. Too overwhelming.
Frost barely saw the final blow, a simple, clean punch to his stomach that launched him across the arena and out of bounds.
The angel raised his hand.
"Winner: Son Goku of Universe Seven."
Goku collapsed to one knee, grinning.
"That was soooo worth it…"
Piccolo caught him before he fell.
Vegeta smirked.
"…Idiot."
Beerus looked satisfied.
Two victories for Universe Seven.
Universe Six had three fighters left.
And now....
Vegeta stepped forward.
....
A towering metal warrior walked onto the arena.
Magetta.
His body was pure living metal, heavy footsteps shaking the platform with each step.
Vegeta rolled his shoulders.
"My turn."
The referee signaled.
"Match three. Vegeta versus Magetta. Begin!"
Vegeta attacked instantly, fists striking steel.
CLANG-CLANG-CLANG.
Sparks flew. The sound echoed across the void.
Magetta didn't move.
Vegeta fired a blast.
It washed over Magetta, leaving scorch marks but no real damage.
Piccolo narrowed his eyes.
"He's too durable."
Beerus tapped his chin.
"That thing could survive a star collapsing on it's head."
Vegeta hovered back, breathing controlled, eyes calculating.
Magetta raised his arms and released a blast of molten metal-like energy. Vegeta dodged, flipping away smoothly.
Then I leaned toward him.
"Hey, Vegeta," I called calmly.
"He has a weakness."
Vegeta glanced at me mid-air.
"What is it?"
I smirked.
"He's emotionally sensitive."
Vegeta raised an eyebrow.
"…That's it?"
I nodded.
"He loses focus if his feelings are hurt."
...
Vegeta landed before Magetta, arms crossed.
"You're slow."
Magetta didn't react.
"You're ugly."
A twitch.
"You're a walking tin can with no life or purpose."
Magetta's eyes flickered.
"And I've seen refrigerators with more personality."
Magetta's guard dropped slightly. As saddness rippled through his metal frame.
Vegeta struck.
A single powerful kick sent Magetta skidding backward, straight over the arena's edge.
The giant flailed, falling out of bounds.
The angel declared:
"Winner: Vegeta of Universe Seven."
Vegeta smirked proudly, floating back.
Beerus clapped once, amused.
....
Another Universe Six warrior stepped forward.
Cabba.
Lean, young, calm. A Saiyan like Vegeta, but different.[he smoll]
They stood facing each other.
The referee raised his hand.
"Fourth match of this round. Vegeta versus Cabba. Begin!"
They moved at once.
Fists met. Elbows. Knees. Counters. Pure martial skill.
Vegeta smiled slightly.
"…A Saiyan who can fight so well in his base form, not bad."
Cabba breathed steadily.
"You're strong… Mister Vegeta."
Vegeta huffed.
"Tch. Then what are you waiting for....."
Cabba hesitated.
Vegeta stepped back, folding his arms.
"Transform."
Cabba blinked.
"…Transform?."
Silence.
Vegeta stared.
"…You know, Super Saiyan?"
Cabba shook his head.
"No one in our universe has achieved that form."
Vegeta's expression shifted.
Shock.
Then...
Smug satisfaction.
"I see."
He walked closer.
"Then I will teach you."
...
Vegeta's aura flared.
Golden light exploded around him.
Hair spiked upward. Eyes started to turned...
Than nothing happened.
Vegeta blushed.
I rolled my eyes " for the love of..., the tingle feeling on your back, you idiot".
Cabba looked me confused, as he tried what i just said.
Cabba clenched his fists, trembling.
A flicker of gold sparked around his back.
Then...
Boom.
Golden aura erupted.
Cabba stood transformed.
Super Saiyan.
Goku turned to me.
"HUH?????"
Cabba rushed forward, now empowered, clashing evenly with Vegeta again. Blows cracked the arena. Energy screamed.
For a moment....
They were equals.
....
Then Vegeta smirked.
"Not bad. But you asked for a lesson, Let teach you a Real lesson."
His aura shifted.
Red fire ignited around him.
Divine ki flowed.
Saiyan God.
Cabba froze, overwhelmed by the sudden pressure.
Vegeta appeared before him instantly and tapped him lightly on the chest.
A gentle push.
Yet the force sent Cabba flying backward, unconscious, sliding to the arena's edge.
He fell out of bounds.
The angel raised his hand.
"Winner: Vegeta of Universe 7"
