The Elder Supreme Kai floated lazily in front of me, arms folded inside his long sleeves, eyes half-lidded like he'd rather be napping than anything else.
Kibito had not stopped hyperventilating since.
The Elder Kai cleared his throat.
"So, mortal. You said you wanted one favor?"
I nodded, clasping my hands together.
"Yes. One I've heard whispered about even among gods." I leaned forward slightly. "Rō Kaiōshin no Senzai Nōryoku Kaihō."
Shin's eyes widened.
"That ritual is sacred! As It unlocks all hidden potential at once, but sadly, it was lost to us."
The Elder Kai rubbed his chin.
"Hmmm. You know the old words for it. And you freed me from my sword prison, too, Did you plan this?."

The Elder Kai burst into laughter.

Then he turned back to me.
"But there is a condition."
I squinted.

The old Kai leaned in close, lowering his voice like he was sharing forbidden cosmic wisdom.
"I will only perform the ritual… if I receive a kiss on the cheek from a pretty girl."
Silence.
Shin nearly fell over.
"E-Elder Kai! That is NOT how sacred bargains are conducted!"
The old Kai waved him off.

I, however, clapped my hands.

"YOU CAN'T JUST AGREE TO THAT!"

"Hey, I freed him. He sets the terms. That's divine contract law."
The Elder Kai grinned like a mischievous grandfather who just won a bet.
"Excellent! Then bring me my kiss, and I shall unlock your hidden power, and your little friends too"
I saluted.
"Give me ten minutes."

Teleportation rippled, and I stood back on Earth, outside Capsule Corp. The wind rustled. The sun shone. Birds chirped.
Bulma was outside with a wrench in hand, as she looked at me.
"What now?"
I walked up confidently.
"Bulma. Humanity needs you. The universe needs you. A god requires a kiss."
Bulma blinked.
"…I'm sorry, what?"
I explained the situation. Very briefly. Very poorly.
"So basically, an ancient god with pervy tendencies wants a cheek kiss so he'll unlock all our hidden potential."

Then smacked me upside the head with the said wrench.
"ABSOLUTELY NOT!"
I rubbed my skull.

She crossed her arms.

She raised the wrench again.

Bulma stormed back inside muttering about restraining orders against divine beings.
I sighed.

Minutes later, I stood in a small island where Oolong was sunbathing in pig form with sunglasses on.
I loomed over him.
"Oolong."
He peeked one eye open.

I smiled sweetly.
"I need you to transform into a pretty girl and kiss an old god on the cheek."
Oolong sat up immediately.

I raised one hand.

Oolong stared.

And reappeared as a beautiful girl in a pink dress.
He even struck a pose.
"I hate that this is my life."

Teleported back again.
We reappeared before the Elder Kai, who was lounging on a floating rock eating a fruit.
He perked up immediately.
"Oh? My pretty girl has arrived?"
Oolong's transformed face twitched.
Shin looked like he wanted to crawl into a hole and seal it behind him.
Kibito was covering his eyes.
I nudged Oolong forward.
"Go on. Save the universe."
Oolong leaned forward, trembling, and gave the Elder Kai a gentle kiss on the cheek.
The Elder Kai closed his eyes blissfully.
"…Magnificent."
Oolong immediately collapsed face-first on the floor.
"I've reached new emotional trauma."
I patted his head.
"You did great."
Then teleported him safely back to Earth before he detransformed.

The Elder Kai floated into the air, robes fluttering dramatically despite there being no wind.
"Now then," he announced, "as promised… I shall awaken your hidden potential."
Shin bowed deeply.

Tien.

The Elder Kai pointed at Gohan first.

Gohan sat cross-legged.
The Elder Kai started dancing around gohan.
Gohan looked at us confused.
Piccolo smiled back.
Goku stared.
"why is he doing a funny dance."
Vegeta muttered.
"…Ridiculous."
Next was Goku.
He sat.
The Elder Kai performed the same ritual.
Another dance.
But when it ended, something strange happened.
Goku powered up but, but tried to super saiyan, as a golden light started to pop up, and than...
It vanished.
He tried again.
Nothing.
No golden hair.
No transformation.
But his base power now felt endless like an ocean.
Goku scratched his head.
"…Huh. I can't turn Super Saiyan anymore."
The Elder Kai nodded.
"Because you no longer need to. All your power is now fully accessible at will."
Vegeta stiffened.
"What?"

Then it was Vegeta's turn.
He sat rigidly, refusing to show vulnerability, as his face started to redden.
After it was over.
He too tried to transform.
Nothing.
His Super Saiyan form was gone.
For a moment, the Prince of Saiyans trembled.
Then he exhaled slowly.
"…This power is… greater."
Piccolo underwent the ritual next. His aura deepened with more power.
Tien followed, his third eye glowing faintly as power settled within him.
Than Master Roshi, who was grinning ear to ear.
When the ritual ended, his hunched back straightened slightly.
His aura shimmered with youthful vitality.
He flexed.
"Oh ho ho! I feel twenty years younger!"

The Elder Kai floated before me.
"You, Sit."
I sat.
He started to dance.....
When the Elder Kai was done, i stood up.
"…Fascinating," i murmured.
Power flowed through me.
I smiled.
"Nice."

Goku stretched.
"I feel great!"
Vegeta crossed his arms.
Gohan looked thoughtful.
"So… my potential is fully unlocked now?"
Piccolo nodded.
"You feel like a different person."
Tien bowed respectfully to the Elder Kai.
Shin sighed.
"…I'm sorry, you all had to see such a shameful side of the kai ."
The Elder Kai floated onto a rock again.
"My debt is paid. And I had my kiss. A perfect day."
I looked around at my friends, all much stronger, safer, ready for whatever came next.
Then I glanced at Shin.
"No hard feelings, buddy, it all worked out in the end."
Shin rubbed his temples.
"…it was still shameful."
I grinned.
