Chapter 1 : The beginning
A raging meteor hit the earth at ocean causing the a mass destruction to the earth. This Caused in mass death rates and extinction of some species.
The 40 percent of humans survived due to their high population level.
After a week, present day Tokyo. People who survived were grouped. There were more than hundred groups in Japan each group had like fifty to sixty members. And there's me, My name is Kiryu hanajima and I am second year High schooler well I 'was' but not anymore, my school got blown up not that I am happy or sad or anything but it was my school man and the writer (Shahir) isn't great at writing stories that involves high school so he just blew it away, what a dude….
Well I am from "survivor group 7" and our group leader is...H…yeah.. haru yamazaki! We were headed to a certain shelter or I don't know I don't pay much attention, Maybe to pursue more survivors.
As we approached to a certain cave which was Said it was going to be a shelter, well can't complain seeing my sufferings. Well my speech is done for now let the writer do the rest!
In a cave with fire lamps at the corners and were twenty people in there and coincidence or what there were two classmates of Kiryu there. ONE is daisuke makeru and other was a anger Storm Akane Kobayashi. Well our clueless kiryu doesn't seem to recognize them.
Daisuke approaches "Oh kiryu-san! Your alright!" Kiryu replies "Who?" Daisuke blinks momentarily "it's me…..your classmate" Kiryu replies "Nope don't know" Akane approaches kiryu "Huh don't know? You idiot! we have studied whole 10 years in the same school !" Kiryu leans in closer looks at daisuke and akane for whole 10 minutes "Oh I see you're the one who helped with homework and you're the one who fights with everyone for no reason!" Akane fumes "What did you say!? First one of I don't fight anyone without a reason and second Do you even know my name?" Kiryu gives an instant answer "Nope." Akane sighs "Your impossible!" Daisuke tries to calm them "I guess we should calm down" Akane Scoffs "Calm down? I am calm." Kiryu replies "Your calmness busted my ear drum" A vein throbs on Akane's forehead "You-!" Daisuke says "Oh look Lunch is ready" Kiryu with a childlike wonder "Lunch!"
After lunch our lovely innocent boy kiryu dozes off. Akane sighs "Honestly this guy has no worries" Daisuke smiles " Even though losing everything he didn't change, That's the thing I admire" Akane considers Daisuke's words than looks at kiryu for a while "Yeah we lost our family but getting over the past is very hard and quite impossible and he even managed to get over the sorrow somehow that's some feat. Kiryu mumbles in his sleep "I am hungry…." Akane fumes "This guy is impossible!!"
The next day, They all woke up,except kiryu. Daisuke tries every way possible to wake him up but he doesn't seem to wake him "Kiryu-san wake up its morning already…..*He sighs* He doesn't seem to wake Akane-San, Akane gives a loud sigh approaches Kiryu "I know a way to wake this lazy-good-for-nothing" Akane shouts "The breakfast is ready, Kiryu" He jolts awake "Breakfast! Where?" Akane gives a hard smack on his head "Of course your going to wake now you lazy-good-for-nothing!"
Haru ,the leader of the group 7 got a call by the Public security services "Mayor requests all the group leaders to head towards the Headquarters of the south". Haru declares and heads to the place.
As he reached there the huge building looking untouched leaving quite stunned "The new Vestrolian tech is quite effective, but it's main purpose was to protect from natural disaster. Looks like its more tough than it was made for"
He entered the HQ he looked around seeing all the survivor group leaders gathered.
The mayor, shin. Approached "Good morning everyone" he gave a nervous smile, But everyone shouted at him for not giving any information about the meteor that had crashed on the earth. Shin tried to calm them
We lost our families because of you* This world has become ruined. The people shouted.
Haru stepped in "That's enough everyone, we all lost something precious to us but arguing won't bring them back, let's not fight!" They all calmed down.
Shin said "Okay thanks for understanding…ugh I gathered you all here to say that we might have another problem, the meteor that had crashed was mixed with some kind of virus that is spreading around the world.
Virus? You are kidding me! Your lying right? They asked in disbelief
He replied " …I just want to say that we are working for the cure….it might take time but it will be ready"
A certain leader "ready? My foot! He's lying guys let's go even if he is not, we all will be dead Till the cure is made let's go.
They all left, Haru looked at Shin a thoughtful expression before leaving (Virus? I need to be careful even if he is lying)
A guy approached Haru "Hey there Mr. cool! My name's kotaro! I heard your amazing speech right there" Haru replied "Oh hey there kotaro" Kotaro nudges him "So we all saw what you did there my guy….you were so cool they were to stunned to speak against you but seems like you silenced them" Haru gives a nervous laugh "It's nothing like that so…your kotaro?" Kotaro Nods "Yep Suzuki kotaro the leader of survivor group 50, I want to ask where's your shelter?" Haru replies "the Shigekura mountains….I mean a cave in Shigekura mountains." Kotaro replies "Oh damn your lucky! I got a broken airplane as our base, so looks like its going to rain tonight" Haru raises his eyebrows "Bad luck I guess" Kotaro stops "Looks like we take turns, see you soon!" Kotaro dashes off , Haru says to himself "What a guy, but seems like I am getting famous"
Haru came back to the cave
While everyone were busy eating to acknowledge Haru's existence. Daisuke looks up "Oh yamazaki-san is back" Kiryu devouring his food like a hungry dog who hasn't eaten in years "Oh okay" Akane sighs "Kiryu did your manners get wiped away by the crash too?" Kiryu replies "Nah forgetting our manners is a must when there is good food involved Tanabe! Akane shouts "It's AKANE!? You idiot!?"A very loud growl was heard outside of the cave, Scaring everyone except kiryu who is still busy eating his dinner. Daisuke panics "What was that?" The people were screaming "A wolf? Monster!? That was so scary" Haru gets serious announced to all "Don't move or make any noise, it's mostly a wolf" Akane is complete fear hides behind kiryu "What was that sound…." Kiryu finally breaks his focus from the food "Huh?"Loud foot steps were heard, the people stood frozen.
