Chapter 3 : Heroes
Back in the cave, Kiryu dozed off. Akane sighs "This guy is impossible" Daisuke gives a small smile "Leave him be Akane-san, After all he was awake the whole night for us" Akane looks at her hand "My hand…..it's wet" Daisuke looks at her, concerned "You okay? Maybe your sweating?" Now the water in Akane's hand started increasing "This is not common" Daisuke looks at her in horror "You should lie down" Akane lied down , Daisuke went to bring cloth to wipe the water in her hand. "Wait just a second, I'll be Back!" As he bought the cloth, he started wiping off the water, The wet cloth dried instantly "What the hell" Akane looks at her "What is it?" Daisuke showed her the cloth "It got dried instantly….my hand is kind of warm too" Akane looks at her hands "Is this superpowers?... Like elemental powers water, fire and more?" Daisuke in horror "Powers? Your going way ahead of everything Akane-San…This can't be-!" Suddenly a fire spark ignited on Daisuke's hand. "you got to be kidding me" Akane sighs "Oh God what is this? Isekai anime?"
The next day, Haru woke up and saw the cave messed up, A guy with uncontrollable wind powers, Daisuke's fire, Akane's water, Someone's snow powers covering the cave with snow and there's kiryu sleeping peacefully without any worries "What's happening here?" A dust Flies in Haru's nose as he sneezes he creates a wind thrusts and makes a hole in the cave wall "This is…..SO UNWELCOMED!"
The mayor's getting a series of Calls from every leader with the common factor 'Unusual powers' Shin taps his chin "Powers? That's….Great! I just have an idea"
Shin gathered all the people to the headquarters, Shin grins "Today is a very special day for you all! As records say people are experiencing some kind of paranormal powers…..it's less likely to be the cause of the virus and more of a new change to the world…Evolution we say In other words, scientists confirm this theory that it's caused by the changing world"
Kotaro asks "Changing world? You mean the ruined earth caused this?" Shin replies "In a way, yes. Earth is starting to recover from the damage while this is happening this made some scientific changes to the living creatures"
Haru asks "So we keep this superpowers as it is?" Shin grins "Nope, we are going to use this powers for our advantage of course" Kiryu always the enthusiastic "How? Are we gonna be superheroes to defeat those big monsters?" Shin snaps his finger "That's it! We are going to use this powers to use against the monsters….I will create a organization called 'Hero society' To fight off the monsters to protect ourselves!" A certain survivor "But my power is weak….how can I fight?" Shin says "Well its not mandatory for all to be heroes. I will separate this division to three Infirmary square, Building square and Heroes square. Infirmary will handle injured people, Building square will help in reconstructing the buildings and houses and heroes will help in protecting the people!"
They consider the offer, A certain person "But how do we control this powers?" Shin replies "We will provide you all a big sector where we all can train and control our powers"
Few days later, Many sectors were made each sector having different kind of training sections, Exercise, combat training, melee training and many more.
Akane and Daisuke in combat training since their powers were elemental. Haru and kiryu in basic exercise as their powers are unknown
Kiryu warms up "This is gonna be a piece of cake" Haru along with some members of his group approaches kiryu "You must be kiryu hanajima right? Well this seems easy but it isn't for your information" Kiryu smirks "Nah I always comes first in sports" Kiryu now begins the weight lifting 50kilos he pauses then gave it a try and Yep didn't even move it a centimeter high.
Kiryu taps on his chin "I was just analyzing the weight, size and shape" Haru sighs "Oh yeah…we saw that, kiryu."
Now racing
Kiryu stretches his legs "Now let's get this done"
The race starts and kiryu manages to win the race "Oh yeah!" Haru claps "Youth energy"
They received daily workout.
Few weeks passed. The powers were divided into three types
· Physical superstrength
· Elemental powers
· Dark powers(Rare)
Akane and Daisuke came under Elemental powers
Kiryu and haru came under superstrength. Kiryu took extra classes and learned to use katana.
The present day shin announced "So looks like everyone got quite the training, so we will divide the people into classes starting from Class D to Class S. Heroes who come below Class D will be sent to infirmary Square or building square.
A certain person "How do we know what Class I am ?" Shin grins "Well listen up, There will be a special test, The hero will be decided about their Class according to the scores. Alright?"
Everyone considered his words.
Shin smiles "Alright be prepared, the test will be next month"
Kiryu surprised "A month? Well its quite soon but no complaints though"
Kiryu took ten kilo meter run every single day , practicing his katana Swings and hundred push ups, hundred squats
Kiryu tired and lying under a tree "How does Saitama manage to do this every single day! For three years it's too tiring" Kiryu looks in the sky, thinking sighs.
I never though a day like this would ever come, Heroes….every kids wishes to be one. Even I used to, but as we grew we lost interest in those things after we knew how much responsibility it needs to be a hero. My parents passed away in an accident, my grandma took care of me and now she died then I was all alone…living in a small apartment working as a cashier in a convenience store….my life was dark and no light…..but now I think I have found a way to bring light. Light to my life. The light was to help others…. This light gives me both work and fun and teaches many things, find friends ever lasting joy that's the light I seek!"
Kiryu sits up clenches his fists, a determine glint in his eyes " I have to become a hero no matter what it takes!"
Kotaro jumps behind "Boo!" Kiryu gets startled "What the hell!" Kotaro giggles "Just wanting to motivate someone who wants to be a hero!" Kiryu crosses his arms "Yeah right so what about it?" Kotaro puts a hand on his shoulder "Listen up kid! You have a great potential! Because man with powers or weapon is strong but a man with spirit and determination is the strongest no matter how injured or hopeless he is!" Kiryu pauses considering his words
