Lion told me that someone is coming when the "moons started to shine", meaning in the evening.
We were eating at the table that had a lazy susan at the center. But unlike the lazy susan we have on earth, this one has 3 tiers instead of one and I can easily know which ones are supposed to be eaten while hot or cold since the food that is supposed to be eaten while cold has tiny icicles around its tier while the food that is supposed to be eaten while hot has tiny flames that are dancing on the edges. How cute.
Lion noticed earlier that I wasn't comfortable eating while sitting on the floor or while floating and walking around so he conjure one of his magic table stored in one of the rooms inside the castle.
He introduced me to several kinds of fruits that I haven't tried yet. I mentioned to him that I'm yearning for a "cooked food" and he eagerly introduce me to new kinds of fruits.
It seems that cultivation farming does not exists on this world yet. Lion told me that aside from eating "meat" from preys, they rely on harvesting fruits from trees, plants and vines. He planned on showing me someday.
Though I'm not sure if I want to see him trying to kill a prey.
Anyway, is the creature coming a friend of yours? I asked him curiously. Lion looked confused and asked me what is a friend. I tried to explain to him what a friend is and he genuinely looked interested. The concept of a friend doesn't exist here. He said that relationships between creatures are formed by means of:
Colleagues
Prey and predator
Seller and buyer
Mates
Alpha and beta (meaning a leader and a follower)
Master and a slave
Boss and workers
Hermits (kinda like an introvert person that only interacts if they needed something or someone needed them for something ex: the neutral)
Unknown (who destroys and kills with no specific reason)
Developers ("orphans and children" who grew up together at the development building)
Tribe (family in our world but including extended members)
Chieftain monarch and the "citizens"
So what's your relationship with the creature who's coming? I asked him. He told me that they are developers because they met at the development building and matured together, though he sometimes help me with my work but most of the time just passing the time here.
Ah. A friend. I thought sheepishly.

Lion told me that he had something to do and I spent my time with Pinky who was feeling under the weather. His leaves looked withered and his branches looked like it seemed he was slouching. I tried to cheer him up by playing with him. I tried to remove the dead leaves and sang him a song. Now I'm fully aware that I don't have a good singing voice but somehow Pinky enjoyed my singing and perked up. His branches suddenly has tiny flowers that bloomed and he squealed. I continued to sing to him until I get the feeling that someone is watching me with intensity that made the hair at the back of neck stand up.
I turned around and I saw a dark being with eyes and at that moment, I realized that I have an ability to wake dead people with my scream.

It turns out that it was Lion's friend. Lion scolded him while his friend howled with laughter. Pinky smacked his face with his branches and he finally stopped laughing.
Lion introduced me to his friend who suddenly became more interested in talking to me.
He told me that he is a mix between a deserter and an unknown. An abomination, he emphasized. An unknown was expected to destroy but somehow while in the process of trying to consume a deserter, a tiny being suddenly appeared. The unknown apparently left at once without touching him. Yes, it turns out that he is a him since the deserter that was consumed was a male and no female deserter has appeared for some time. Of course the unknown has no gender since all it does is to kill and destroy a being.
More research is needed and that's my job, he proudly announced while Lion raised his eyebrows.
He told me his name and since it's too difficult to me to remember, I asked him if I can call him Ghost. He curiously asked me what is a ghost and I patiently tried to explain it to him.
Oh you thought this is how I look? He shook his head with disbelief. He said he can somehow change his appearance. Since he is made out of two different beings, he can change his appearance by two different ways.
Of course the first one looks like a ghost. A floating see through black being with eyes that don't seem scary now that I took a closer look. The color of his eyes are pale, more like how some of the albinos' eyes are.
He looked at me with amusement and suddenly transformed into a tall, beautiful male being. His hair is fiery red that is short but has a rattail at the back of his head that is braided and tied. His body looks a bit muscular and the color of his skin is kind of like a copper. Thankfully the rest of his body looked human except that he has long pointed ears and has short fangs. He is a bit taller than Lion. He has an earring on his left ear and has several rings on his fingers.
Ghost looks pleased with me observing him while Lion looked visibly annoyed. Pinky is trying his best to guard me.
I had to admit (secretly!) that I'm attracted to Ghost.
Do you fly or float? I asked him, trying to change the subject since I noticed Lion getting more grumpy by the minute.
No I don't do either, Ghost told me while chuckling. I have the ability to run very fast and jump into high places, like really high places.
You mean you jumped from the ground and landed here? I was astonished. It is quite high that Lion and I had to fly, float, teleport or ride an ord.
I can tell you everything about me, Ghost told me while Lion sighed disapprovingly.
