Somehow I ended up riding on some sort of a canoe with several wings flapping simultaneously.
Lion is sitting beside me and continued to hold my hand. I feel shy for a moment when I suddenly realized to my horror that there's no one driving the canoe(?). What's the matter? He asked puzzled by my reaction.
Does this thing drive by itself or are you controlling it? I stammered.
Lion grins and told me that he telepathically told the canoe to go where he wanted to go and it moves by itself. It's an ord, he said with his eyes gazing at me with amusement.
We continued to somehow fly around almost hitting some flying and floating creatures until we slowly descended our way to a couple of shorter buildings. Stay by my side, Lion whispered, it's not safe.
You don't have to tell me twice, I murmured.
We went inside one of the shorter wobbly looking buildings (looking like a jello) and there Lion released my hand. The place looks kind of a normal bank back on earth except for a fact that there's only one creature inside and it looks like a giant fox with a human face and with teeth that looks sharp. Yep, it's definitely a predator.
....
Lion looks quite happy after the transaction which probably means that he must have earned a lot by selling the new invention.
Would you like to look around ? I could show you around, he told me.
I nodded.
So we went to several places that seemed only to exist in imagination and hallucinations.
I was fascinated by their fountain of water that just floated on air while several small fish like creatures swim around the water.
I saw several creatures that have human faces but they don't have a human-like body like Lion.
I saw two creatures dueling each other with magic, summoning weird imp-like creatures that breath fire and grew long vines that had thorns.
Sensing that I'm beginning to get tired, Lion used his magic to make us fly and I suddenly realized that we don't have to ride the ord earlier.
I want you to experience it though, he explained. If you want to understand this world better, you have to experience a lot of things that are different from what you're used to.
He's right.
....
I was a coward for staying too long in my comfort zone that I lost my sense of wonderment, imagination and growth.
My life was monotonous because I did not allow myself to grow. That's why I became bored at work and didn't form any friendships because I'm too lazy to make an effort. I was content in just reading about it, not experiencing it.
Now I feel a burst of emotions suddenly rise up. I suddenly want to shout and laugh. But my common sense finally won and I just smiled.
Lion held my hand and he continued talking and pointing about things that seemed interesting.
Soon the sky began to change color and we began to flew towards the castle. Several creatures with wings flew past us and I stare at them, fascinated.
I began to love this strange world.
....
After we arrived, Pinky hurriedly went near me and squealed. I hugged and comforted Pinky while Lion starred at us, amused.
You do know Pinky's a male, right? He chuckled.
Ah. Now I understand Pinky's distress.
....
Lion and I experimented with some of the fruits using fire. Some of the fruits burned while others tasted horrible. Finally, Lion hissed and burned the rest of the fruit. He summoned a floating orb which carried several bottles of light colored liquid.
Lion demanded me to drink one of the bottles and I hesitantly tried to sip. It tasted sweet and fruity, sort of like orange mixed with honey. I finished drinking the bottle and sighed. I feel full and content.
Lion finished several bottles and looked cheerful.
Can you tell me what you are in your former world? He asked.
I told him that I was an eye doctor and patiently explained to him what I do.
He listened intently and looked like he was thinking about something.
After I finished telling him on what I used to do, I asked him if it is still possible that I can return back to my own world.
Do you want to go back? He asked sadly.
I thought for a moment and shook my head. I told him that I'm beginning to like it here and want to stay.
His ears perked up and he grinned. He reassured me that I could still go back if I want to but he would have to research about that part since he doesn't know how to travel to another universes yet. Especially if there's no magic, he explained. There should be a constant flow of magic energy so I can manipulate it and not deplete the magic that I have in my body.
Though, he added after a thought, time will be different once I go back. Since both universes have different flow of time, there's a possibility that I cannot go back to the same time I left, but he's not completely sure about this fact.
Oh well, I don't any reason to go back and I want to experience a new adventure.
We fell silent, engrossed with our own thoughts, when I glanced up and saw that his hair looked like a mess.
Can you let me tie your hair, I asked Lion while I went towards him. He suddenly blushed red as a tomato and nodded. I combed his hair using my hands and admired his hair. His hair feel soft and silky. His hair is long, waist length and seemed to behave this time. I remembered the time when I first saw him. Some of his hair was braided and had a mind of its own.
Just imagine medussa with her hair, though Lion's hair is normal looking except it moves sometimes and has a mind of its own.
Anyway, I continued to comb his hair using my hands and I noticed Lion's tail flicking and moving slowly.
I was tempted to touch it for a moment but changed my mind. I don't want to die yet.
I tied his hair into a style that is half up and half down. Done, I said as I look at his face.
He averted his eyes while blushing like a tomato. His eyes looked gorgeous.
I like your eyes, they looked beautiful, I told him.
Suddenly he stood up and magically summoned the cloudlike bed and went through a portal.
What did I said?
Oh. I realized too late that I flirted with him unintentionally.
Oh no.
