Liu Ly sat beside Haoyi and comforted him, saying,
"Don't be sad. She probably wouldn't want to see you this heartbroken either."
Haoyi looked at her, then suddenly hugged her and cried,
"I really, really love her… I don't want her to leave me!"
Fanling stood nearby, eyes wide in shock.
Liu Ly hugged him and said softly,
"It's okay… it's okay."
As she said that, a single tear fell.

Chapter Three: Zombie Teacher
Kaize finished eating a piece of chocolate and took a sip of water, while Yeey was busy making weapons nearby.
Yeey leaned a broom diagonally against the wall and stomped on it, snapping it in half. He picked up the longer piece. Just as he turned around, Kaize appeared behind him.
Kaize handed him a piece of chocolate and said,
"Hungry? Eat first. You can work after."
Yeey smiled faintly and said,
"Thanks. I'll save it for later."
Kaize said,
"I'll feed you."
Yeey widened his eyes and looked at him. Kaize tore open the chocolate wrapper and held it in front of Yeey's mouth. Yeey leaned forward and took a bite. Kaize smiled at him.
They stared into each other's eyes. Yeey placed his hand over Kaize's, and their heads slowly moved closer together.
Just then, Teacher Xu walked over, and they quickly pretended that nothing had happened.
Teacher Xu said,
"Look, what's this?"
Yeey and Kaize looked at the knife in Teacher Xu's hand and asked,
"Why is there a knife in the office?"
Teacher Xu replied,
"It was left over from a previous school activity. No one took it away. There are only three."
Yeey walked over, picked one up, examined it, and said,
"That's enough."
Fanling came over and asked,
"Shouldn't we be trying to find a phone or call the police or something?"
Yeey looked at him and said,
"Don't you know? At times like this, the police are the most useless."
Fanling looked at him and said,
"Oh."
Yeey then looked at everyone and asked,
"By the way, what are your names? I don't think I know yet."
After they finished introducing themselves, Kaize glanced at the time on his watch and said,
"It's already night. Let's just find a place to sleep for now."
Teacher Xu and Liu Ly moved several chairs together and lay down on them. Haoyi and Fanling slept on the desks, while Yeey and Kaize chose to sleep directly on the floor.
They lay on their sides, facing each other. Yeey reached out and brushed Kaize's bangs aside and said,
"You're the most beautiful boy I've ever seen."
Kaize gazed at Yeey affectionately. Yeey then continued,
"Let's be together."
Kaize smiled and said,
"Confessing to someone you like without even a ring… that's kind of boring, isn't it?"
Yeey smiled back at him and was about to say something more when Liu Ly suddenly stood beside them, watching.
Seeing her, Yeey immediately sat up and asked,
"What are you doing?"
Liu Ly said,
"I'm going to the bathroom. I won't disturb you."
Yeey and Kaize smiled awkwardly.
Liu Ly walked to the restroom door. As soon as she opened it, she saw a male teacher squatting inside. Frightened, she took a few steps back.
The male teacher noticed the door opening, slowly stood up, and turned to look at Liu Ly.
Seeing that the teacher had already turned into a zombie, Liu Ly turned around and ran.
The zombie teacher chased after her. As she ran, Liu Ly screamed,
"Yeey! Kaize! Help me!"
Hearing her cries, Yeey and Kaize grabbed the broken broom handles nearby.
Liu Ly ran between Yeey and Kaize. The zombie teacher burst out from the shadows. Yeey and Kaize stabbed it from both sides, piercing its chest. But the zombie wasn't dead yet and continued struggling violently.
As Yeey and Kaize desperately held it back, Teacher Xu rushed in from behind and stabbed the zombie teacher straight through the brain. The zombie finally stopped moving.
Yeey and Kaize dropped the broom handles and sat on the floor, gasping for air. Haoyi and Fanling stared at Teacher Xu in shock.
Teacher Xu looked at her hands, now covered in blood, then walked into the restroom to wash them.
Kaize looked at the shaken Liu Ly and asked,
"Aren't you going to use the bathroom anymore?"
Liu Ly stood up trembling and said,
"I don't feel anything anymore."
Fanling stepped forward and asked,
"Are you okay?"
Liu Ly waved her hand and said,
"I'm fine."
