Yeey and Kaize slept naked together for the whole night.
Lying beside Kaize, Yeey said, "It's my first time sleeping naked. It actually feels kind of comfortable."
Kaize climbed on top of him and started kissing him.
Yeey pushed him away and said, "We just woke up—morning breath. Go brush your teeth first."
Kaize laughed and said, "You're dislike me!"
After saying that, he hugged Yeey tightly and kept kissing him. Yeey couldn't move at all and could only laugh, letting Kaize do whatever he wanted.

Chapter Six: The Signal
Fanling lay bored on the bed. He looked at the TV in front of him, then glanced at the remote control beside him. He picked up the remote, pointed it at the TV, and pressed the button.
The TV turned on. Fanling stared at the screen in shock.
He hurriedly rushed out of the room and looked at everyone who was outside.
Seeing him panting, Yeey asked, "What's wrong?"
The corners of Fanling's mouth lifted as he said, "I think you'll all be interested in this."
Soon, everyone gathered in the room.
Fanling said, "The TV works—that means there's a signal."
At that moment, Mr. Kong took out his phone and turned it on. He looked at the top-right corner of the screen and saw that there really was a signal.
Suddenly, the TV switched to the news. The news report said:
"Recently, a zombie virus outbreak has occurred in the town of Korya. In order to rescue residents still trapped in the town, the government has activated all signals at any cost. If anyone trapped inside sees this message, please immediately call the police and report your exact location. Helicopters will arrive for rescue right away."
After hearing this message, Kaize and Yeey excitedly hugged each other.
Liu Ly said to Mr. Kong, "Call the police now!"
Coming to his senses, Mr. Kong dialed the emergency number.
After the call connected, Mr. Kong told the operator their exact location. The operator then said, "Please go to the hotel balcony immediately and wait for rescue."
Mr. Kong hesitated for a moment and said, "The door to the hotel balcony… is locked. No matter how hard we smash it, it won't open."
The operator said, "Your area has the highest concentration of zombies. It will be very difficult for us to reach you from the ground."
Mr. Kong replied, "Then wait for us at the entrance of the town. We'll get there right away."
Hearing this, the operator asked in disbelief, "Sir, are you sure?"
"I'm sure," Mr. Kong said confidently.
Hearing his confidence, the operator replied, "Alright. Run as far as you can. We'll arrive at any time."
Mr. Kong hung up the phone.
Fanling looked at him and asked, "What do you mean by that?"
Mr. Kong remained silent.
Fanling angrily asked, "Why can't we go to the balcony? Why do we have to risk our lives running so far just to get rescued? Why?!"
In anger, Fanling grabbed Mr. Kong's collar. "Do you know how painful it was for me to walk all the way from the school and watch two people die right in front of me? Do you know that?!"
Mr. Kong roared, "I know! I know the balcony door can't be opened because a few days ago I went up there to try to jump off and kill myself! I tried everything and still couldn't open it! I know!"
After Mr. Kong finished speaking, everything fell silent. Everyone stared at him in shock.
Wiping away a tear that had fallen, Mr. Kong said, "I also know that going that way is the only chance to save all of you."
Yeey asked quietly, "Then… do you have a way to help us get there?"
Mr. Kong stood up and said, "There's an emergency ladder on the outside of the hotel that leads down. My car is parked underneath. I'll drive you to the train station. Then we'll get down together, cross the tracks, and reach the other side. We'll go up the stairs there, and that will take us to the town's entrance."
Kaize asked in confusion, "Your car has been parked down there this whole time. Why didn't you escape by yourself?"
Mr. Kong looked at him and said, "I wanted to die anyway. What was the point of escaping?"
Kaize looked at him silently.
Yeey spoke up. "Everyone, go prepare."
Everyone dispersed. Liu Ly found Fanling and asked, "Are you okay?"
Fanling smiled and replied, "I'm fine. Thank you."
Liu Ly looked at him and said, "It's the first time I've seen you so angry. You scared me."
Fanling said embarrassedly, "Sorry about that."
Liu Ly quickly explained, "You don't need to apologize. I just… was saying it casually."
They smiled at each other.
Not long after, fully equipped, they gathered in front of the door leading to the outer staircase.
Mr. Kong turned around and told them, "Later, go down slowly and don't make any noise. Understand?"
Everyone nodded.
Mr. Kong opened the door and went out, and the others followed.
They descended floor by floor until they reached the car. They hurriedly got inside.
Mr. Kong started the engine. The roar was deafening, instantly attracting all the zombies.
Yeey shouted anxiously, "Go!"
Mr. Kong reversed, then rushed onto the road. Zombies from all around began chasing them like mad dogs.
One zombie jumped onto the roof of the car. Yeey immediately stabbed it with the sharpened wooden stick, then pulled it out. The tip of the stick was covered in blood.
Mr. Kong kept driving.
Suddenly, several zombies ran out in front of them. Liu Ly screamed in fear, "In front! In front! In front!"
Mr. Kong rammed into them, sending the zombies flying dozens of meters away.
He shouted excitedly a few times.
The zombies behind them gradually couldn't keep up with the car. Yeey, Kaize, and Fanling finally managed to catch their breath.
Soon, they arrived at the train station. They quickly got out of the car and ran inside.
Inside the station, they found that there wasn't even a single zombie.
Kaize asked in horror, "What happened here?"
Mr. Kong looked at them and said, "Move, quickly."
They arrived at the train tracks. Just as Mr. Kong was about to tell them to jump down, Liu Ly asked, "What if a train suddenly comes?"
Mr. Kong looked at her and said, "Don't worry. At a time like this, who would still be driving trains?"
He lowered them down one by one, then jumped down himself.
When Yeey tried to climb up to the other side, he realized he couldn't reach.
Mr. Kong stepped forward and said, "I'll go up first, then pull you all up."
Everyone nodded, and Mr. Kong climbed up.
At that moment, a rumbling sound came from the distance. Yeey turned his head—and a blinding light was racing straight toward them.
