Mr. Kong lifted them down one by one, then jumped down himself.
Yeey tried to climb up to the other side, but realized he couldn't reach.
Mr. Kong stepped forward and said, "I'll go up first, then pull you all up."
Everyone nodded, and Mr. Kong climbed up.
At that moment, a rumbling sound came from the distance. Yeey turned his head and saw a blinding light rushing straight toward them.
It was a train.
Mr. Kong shouted anxiously to Yeey, "Hurry, get up!"
He pulled Yeey up. As soon as Yeey got up, he immediately turned around to pull Kaize. Fanling lifted Liu Ly, working together with Mr. Kong to get her up. With Yeey's help, Kaize also climbed up.
Yeey and Mr. Kong reached out at the same time and grabbed Fanling. Fanling glanced at the train only fifty meters away and quickly climbed up.
He made it up—but one foot was still down below. At that moment, the train rushed past and crushed Fanling's leg.
Fanling screamed in agony, "Ah!"

Chapter Seven: I Like You
Mr. Kong tore his clothes and wrapped Fanling's wound. Fanling cried in pain. Liu Ly supported him from the side, Kaize held his hand, and a tear fell from Liu Ly's eyes.
Yeey crouched in front of Fanling and asked, "Can you still walk with us?"
Fanling wiped away his tears and said, "Yes. I can."
"Hold on," Yeey said. "Once we get out of here, we'll be saved."
Fanling nodded. Kaize and Liu Ly helped him up. Fanling kept crying out in pain, tears streaming down his face.
Yeey picked up his weapon and walked at the front. Mr. Kong took up a weapon and followed at the rear.
Suddenly, a zombie security guard lunged at Mr. Kong from behind. Mr. Kong was knocked to the ground as the zombie began biting him. He struggled desperately.
Reacting instantly, Yeey rushed over and smashed the zombie's head with a single strike.
He helped Mr. Kong up. Mr. Kong raised his arm. The two of them stared silently at the bite marks left by the zombie.
Kaize, Liu Ly, and Fanling turned to look at them.
Yeey stared at Mr. Kong in fear. Mr. Kong smiled and said, "Kill me."
Yeey turned away, about to abandon Mr. Kong and leave him to his fate.
Mr. Kong grabbed Yeey's leg and burst into tears. "Kill me. You don't want to see me turn into a zombie, do you? Just give me peace, okay?"
He looked at Yeey, and Yeey looked back at him, tears falling.
Mr. Kong's body began to change. Twisting in pain, he said, "I was already a dying man. Helping you get this far is more than enough. Kill me. Maybe this can be a perfect crime, too."
He slowly closed his eyes, a single tear slipping out. Yeey, sobbing uncontrollably, raised the wooden staff and shouted, "Ahhh!"
Then he stabbed down.
Kaize, Liu Ly, and Fanling stared with wide eyes.
Yeey collapsed to his knees, utterly drained, and broke into loud sobs.
Crying, Kaize went over and held Yeey. "Let's go."
Seeing that he couldn't drag him, Kaize shouted again, louder, "Let's go!"
Yeey stood up and wiped the tears from his face.
Soon, they walked out of the train station and onto the road, where they saw a helicopter parked in the distance.
The roar of the helicopter quickly attracted a horde of zombies. Behind Yeey, Kaize, Liu Ly, and Fanling, the zombies surged like a tide, filling the entire road.
Yeey saw several zombies charging from the front. Remembering Mr. Kong being bitten, rage instantly surged through him and he rushed forward.
He kicked one zombie away, then pierced another through the head with the sharpened stick. He lifted the corpse and threw it into a group of zombies ahead, knocking them down.
The other three kept moving forward behind him.
Another zombie charged in. Yeey stabbed upward from its jaw through its skull, then flipped it over his shoulder.
In the distance, the military opened fire on the zombies. One zombie knocked Yeey to the ground. He shoved the wooden stick into its mouth to keep it from biting him.
At that moment, Kaize rushed over and kicked the zombie away. As it tried to stand and attack again, a distant sniper shot it in the head.
Two officers ran over, lifted Yeey and Kaize, and carried them toward the helicopter. Another officer ran past them.
Fanling looked at the zombies nearly upon them, then at Liu Ly supporting him. He shoved her away and fell to the ground himself.
Liu Ly stared at him in shock.
"Go," Fanling said. "Don't worry about me."
As Liu Ly tried to turn back to help him, an officer grabbed her and ran toward the helicopter. She struggled desperately, crying, "No! Save him first! Please!"
The officer carrying Kaize set him down and was about to turn back for Fanling, but the zombies were already less than ten meters away.
Yeey sat in the helicopter, completely numb. Kaize grabbed the officer and shouted, "Go save him!"
Liu Ly kept struggling, trying to go back.
At that moment, Fanling shouted, "Liu Ly… I like you!"
He smiled, tears streaming down his face.
Liu Ly cried uncontrollably as she watched him slowly swallowed by the zombies.
Because the zombies were drawn to Fanling, Yeey, Kaize, and Liu Ly were able to escape.
Soon, the helicopter lifted off and flew out of Korya Town.
Inside the helicopter, Kaize and Liu Ly continued crying over Fanling's death. Yeey looked at the sunset outside the helicopter—and silently began to cry as well.
