Just as the blood cocoon buried itself into the earth, a trembling could be felt. At first, it appeared that the ground was trembling; however, suddenly the air started to get distorted, and space itself was trembling.
Crack---Crack!
Suddenly, the whole ground started to rip apart. The break almost destroyed the cocoon; however, some of the blood—as if conscious—suddenly pushed the cocoon out of the way.
+20 points!
Ren was still unaware of the changes going on within himself and outside the cocoon.
The cracks started to increase, and if one could look from outside the planet, they would see deep, distinct lines running through the ground, not even leaving the oceans untouched by this change. The world was changing to appear like the one shown in books, with longitudes and latitudes, making it appear like a Rubik's cube in the form of a sphere.
Through the lines dividing and running through the earth, force fields suddenly manifested that kept each region separated.
Just when it appeared to be over, some kind of cosmic entity's presence could be felt. There was a pressure that was suddenly felt by the living and non-living left on the planet.
The entity did not make a move to harm the things on the planet directly; however, it felt like the entity held the world in its hand, which made the earth stop rotating on its axis. The entity's hand held the earth from continuing its revolution.
Suddenly, the earth's surface started to shift, like the entity was playing with the sphere and matching it like a Rubik's cube.
First, the entity mixed up everything. So there was a scene like this all over the world: snow appeared next to ocean, surrounded by desert on one side, some famous architectural building, and a mountain with some snow and greenery on it.
Slowly, the entity started rotating the parts of the earth, making them match according to how it felt was correct, rather than what the earth was like before.
After an unknown period of time, the rotations of the divided sections of the earth stopped. The entity must have felt satisfied with its handiwork, because a laughter could be felt which vibrated the whole space, almost ceasing the earth's existence.
The entity's presence could be felt leaving the space, and along with the departure of the entity, the force fields separating the sectioned earth slowly went down, and the sections merged.
During this change, the cocoon somehow survived due to the blood's instinctive movements. Still buried underground, it appeared a lot of blood had been expended to protect Ren; however, this also slowed down the transformation.
In the new world, the organisms left—which had turned into zombies—started to mutate, along with the flora and fauna.
Out of nowhere, 25 large cities could be seen rising out of the ground. The cities contained people that did not turn into zombies.
They were in the clothes that they were wearing when the apocalypse started. This was a strange phenomenon, where all the people had stopped moving, as if time had stopped for them.
The cities appeared to have warding which prevented the monsters, zombies, etc., from breaching the cities.
The population of the cities—as if someone was breathing life into dolls—started moving, and all hell broke loose. Chaos was all around. Suddenly, a ping went inside everyone's mind.

[25 protection bases have been built to protect your worthless existence for a period of 1 year.]
[Following that, warding will break, and another kind of apocalypse will arise]
[There is a way to end this apocalypse: kill every existence that threatens your survival in this world, and you will be promoted to New Haven]
New information induced more panic. [Select leaders for the base to make connection with other bases]
Everyone stopped doing what they were doing and looked toward each other, waiting for the process of how to select leaders to be known or shared with them.
An option to cast a vote appeared in everyone's mind. Someone started making moves to get the vote, to become a more meaningful existence than the others, to enter New Haven faster. Some wanted to make sure their family and loved ones survived the apocalypse.
This was another period of chaos; however, the base had developed its own consciousness-like apocalypse AI, and it had sent a message:
Everyone started to make moves again. Some started using honey traps to get people's votes; some resorted to threatening, since the laws held no power over them. However, habits of the pre-apocalyptic world still prevented them from taking a life.
There are always exceptions. There were appearances of some cities where a person cleared the requirements of 50% votes; a city also saw the rise of a tyrant that snuffed out every person in a city, making them the only person and automatically making them the leader without any need for voting.
By the end of 5 days, the 25 bases gave rise to the 25 base leaders, that later came to be known as the "Council of Apostles and Demons."
