After a long hiatus (I plan week or two, but it reveals to be three-four), I finally come back. Reality could be quite overwhelming sometimes and to avoid pauses like this, I made few improvements. Some of them will improve your experience as a reader, but some also will improve my own as an author :)
Regular publication
Most important change. Right now the new chapter would be published every Saturday at 1 am. o' clock GMT +8 (at least once a week).
Chapters' correction
As you may realize my friend (which AO3 is point at other note in this volume) also had quite overwhelming lifestyle. So sometimes it may happen that the newest chapter won't be edited immadietly at the day of publication. Trully it happen before, but this time I'd clarify that in the Author's note (at the end of the chapter) if it's edited or not, and add an update as it'd be edited. Usually an edition will happen before the next chapter's publication.
Lenght of paragraphs & chapters
Before my 7 year hiatus, I used to write a traditional novels. Which means traditional in lenght, paragraps division and so on. Few people told me in current style reading my novel seem more like reading an essay. I check few first chapters on phone app and could only agree. So due to that I decide to shorten the lenght of each paragraph. The style stays the same, but right now it's way easier to read and focus on reading text (at least in WebNovel format).
About the lenght of the chapters - current average words per chapter are 1.25K. In every WebNovel I read till now average chapter lenght is around 1K words. So guess this wil stay the way. However some chapters will be longer that this (especially those which involve moments important for the plot).
For now the longest chapter is The Outbreak (1834 words). Right now I use a principle, that if singular chapter is longer than 2K words (for example The Modus Operandi) it's divided into two. Let me know if that amount is acceptable for you, or I should lower the number - for example if chapter is longer than 1800 words, it's divided into two.
Parallel publication
As I said, the original paragraph division is different than what you see here. Yet I like to keep the original version so for that I create an account on AO3 (@SamArrow). The publication would happen both here and there, but with some differences. On AO3 I'll kept the original paragraph lenght, as well as not divide longer chapters into two solitare ones. Moreover one chapter on AO3 will include two chapters published on WebNovel. The last distiction is the fact, that every chapter published on AO3 would be already corrected.
Storage chapters
Fortunately right now I have some free time from my real-life duties. Plan to use it to finally do the driving licence (or part of it), but also push myself a little to write more that I need to publish. That means I'd have few extra chapter in storage just in case a hiatus like this would happen. This means next hiatus would be shorter one (if it would happen at all).
Exta chapters
I'm aware that most of the authors publish an extra chapter for some amount of Power Stones. Yet those were authors of original works. I don't believe that this work as a fanfiction would get a lot of PS or even if it would get any (right now every PS is from me and the scammer whose comment was deleted).
If it were change someday I'd consider giving a rule that some amount of PS = extra chapter, but for now all the extra ones stay in my storage :)
