"Once a big brother… always a big brother…" the words that sunless had told her all those years ago echoed in her mind.
It happened when they were little children and she had been crying that the world was so unfair to them. Sunless had promised to protect her back then.
And even till date, he continued protecting her.
'No matter how much my strength has increased and no matter what I've experienced, he is still my big brother, shouldering me from the heavens and every single obstacle.'
As all these thoughts crashed into her mind, tears brimmed at the corner of her eyes and threatened to fall.
However, Jane held it in and turned her eyes to stare at the sky a bit.
"Let's go," Sunless advised the three.
Sonia nodded and followed him, along with Jane, as the three left the dumbfounded guards behind.
"I think we've had enough fun for today," Sunless advised the two.
He prioritized his sister's health above everything and wanted to ensure she was alright before they continued anything.
Since Jane's mind was still occupied with thoughts, she nodded subconsciously, and Sonia, who didn't want to go in the first place, exhaled in relief.
With that, the three hailed a cab and exited the place.
The driver was a polite young man with dark brown hair and eyes. He greeted them warmly and then turned up the radio.
Instantly, the news spread and surprisingly it was information from the police department, informing about the assassination that had just occurred.
"They are three in number and they all have black clothes on, akin to thieves. We believe they belong to some sort of organisation. Please, if you see anyone like that, indicate. Two ladies and a single young man."
Hearing the explanations of the three, the driver looked through the front-view mirror and glanced at them.
The three's gaze reflected back in the mirror and he felt a chill run down his spine. He forced a smile that looked like crying and cleared his throat before returning his gaze to the road.
However, internally, his heart was pounding wildly, and the fact that people who were probably assassins were sitting behind him didn't make him feel the least bit better.
He could barely focus on the road, feeling like he might die at any time.
However, he tried his best to steady his beating heart.
Ahead, he noticed a police checkpoint, causing his heartbeat to increase in excitement.
This was the defining moment. If he could reach those police, he would be free, but if he got killed before then…
'I need to act as though everything is fine. I just need to pretend I can't see the police and call for help the moment I reach. I just have to…'
His words trailed off as a hand landed on his neck, causing him to fall unconscious and subconsciously steer the car to the side.
Sunless quickly caught it before he could steer it any further.
He held the car for a bit and pushed the man to the side before getting full hold of the steering.
During the few years that Sunless had been doing all sorts of jobs, he had also picked up driving along the way while having to deliver a few things down the line.
The moment Sunless got hold of the steering, his whole demeanor seemed to change.
Surprisingly, below him were things he hadn't noticed before…
Bubbles…
It seemed, while the driver was driving, it was falling off him, at his leg's side, hence the reason Sunless was unable to see it.
And because the driver had been driving for a long time, it had piled up till it had even surpassed 50.
The moment Sunless sat down and placed his leg on the brakes, the car seemed to come to life and an intense amount of knowledge concerning cars and driving surged into his mind.

It was Sunless' first attribute to enter into the stage above the adept stage.
… and it was extraordinary!!!
"Everyone, buckle up… things are about to get wild…"
His words made Sonia subconsciously tense up and she leaned more into her seat.
However, Jane just rolled her eyes at her brother's behaviour, thinking he was talking about being chased by the police.
The car paused briefly, then let out a thunderous rev as Sunless shifted gears instantly, then he increased the speed of the car to the maximum.
The police officers who were roughly a kilometer away immediately waved down the speeding vehicle, but Sunless couldn't care less.
The car accelerated more and in the blink of an eye he was already in front of them.
Noticing that Sunless had no plans of stopping, they immediately dodged to the side.
The car crashed heavily onto the stick blocking the way, causing parts of the car to break apart, but it didn't slow down in the slightest.
Jane's head rolled to the back of her eyes and she felt dizzy from the ride.
She was being tossed and turned in the car as Sunless moved from left to right and back, dodging cars in the way.
On the other hand, Sonia wasn't any better off.
Although she had braced herself for the car ride, she didn't expect Sunless to suddenly become so crazy…
Sunless moved at such a fast speed that they were barely able to keep track of the road anymore.
A moment later, they heard sirens coming from behind and at the same time they heard a sound coming from the speaker in the car.
"Plate number 4586… stop or we'll be forced to take drastic measures." The voice was loud, attracting the attention of most drivers to the car.
It wasn't hard to notice Sunless' car as he was speeding recklessly.
Sunless turned around and glanced behind him and noticed more than ten police vehicles rushing towards him, yet he didn't panic.
The expert stage driving seemed to have changed something within him.
Sunless glanced in front and noticed more than twenty cars densely gathered together. It was as though they had planned it together to restrict Sunless' movements, and with the police catching up behind him, it seemed inevitable that Sunless would be caught.
Even Sonia's heart skipped a beat while Jane's eyes sharpened, and she was about to use a secret technique.
Just then, Sunless… did some magic…
If Sonia was to describe it, she could only use such words.
The car suddenly seemed to have a life of its own, and Sunless' hand moved through the steering, from left to right at an extremely rapid speed.
Immediately, his car seemed to turn into a snake and, like a slithering serpent, slipped through the cars…
The sight of the car moving like a ghost and a snake, weaving between all 20 cars, left everyone in disbelief and shock.
