You know, listening to giants laugh wasn't something he had on his schedule today, but here he was.
"A Lunarian, haven't seen one of those in a while."
He didn't sense an ounce of racism in the voice. The guy just seemed surprised to see a Lunarian here.
"I woke up on the docks of this island, my memory is a bit foggy. If I was on a ship, it's most likely destroyed and gone by now," he said, scratching the back of his head.
TL;DR — he was stranded.
"So you are stranded?" They didn't even ask him much about it, just said it like it was a casual remark.
Brogy would look at Dorry.
"Let's fight once more."
They were ready to box again.
"Wait? You two are injured, you shouldn't be fighting in such a state." His inner doctor came out before he even realized it. Upon noticing their wounds, he knew they were in no condition to fight.
"This is nothing but a minor scratch. We are warriors from Elbaf, this will not stop us," Dorry said before laughing a bit.
"Gegyagyagyagya!"
Brogy would laugh too. They didn't seem to take this seriously.
It was as if their mentality was: If we fall in battle, then that's good.
"But wouldn't you want your body to be properly rested so you can give 100%?" he asked, to which Brogy laughed, saying,
"If such minor wounds could affect us, then we're no warriors."
Hm. They seemed to hold their warrior pride quite high. He sighed a bit.
"May I at least be able to witness your clash? I wish to study it. There's this weird energy I can feel from your weapons, but I can't grasp it yet."
They paused for a second, turning around to look at him.
"Gegyagyagyagya!"
"You can sense Haki. Your warrior spirit must have been finely tuned," the one with the big nose said.
"Well, I am a ninja, so of course I'm a good warrior," he said, puffing his chest with pride.
"A ninja?" Brogy looked confused.
"I think he means those warriors from Wano, those humans who use tricks."
"Oh, don't—small human, they didn't seem all that strong."
Feeling like his goat was being slandered, he opened his mouth and said,
"I am no ninja from this Wano land. I am from another village, where we use jutsu."
As those words left his mouth, he went through the hand seals before launching a Water Bullet at a nearby tree.
The water bullet left his mouth at incredible speed, and the tree was dented like no other. The boy looked quite proud of himself, as if to say, Yes, bask in my glory.
The two giants furrowed their brows. Hold up—
They sensed Haki from that technique, and maybe some fragment of the Will of the World, but they were sure as hell there was Haki in that water.
Was this boy using Haki to do this?
"Lunarian—"
"My name is Kairo D. Soryu," he corrected the giant, not trying to have the man call him by his race every time.
"Brogy, the Red Ogre," the one with the big nose said.
"Dorry, the Blue Ogre," the one with the long beard said.
How nice—two fighters who were each very powerful. Oh, he wanted to learn from them.
They seemed to forget what they were thinking for a bit. The giants slowly got up and both started walking their separate ways.
Well, at least he met them. They seemed like pretty chill dudes.
Oh well, time to train. He now knew how Haki felt from their clash—he just had to mimic it. But first—up the stream, roughly a 30-minute walk away from the lake, was the perfect place to build his house.
And while his goat mainly used water, he could use the other elements. He could use them to buff his attacks or simply to build a house.
He could also start making poison from the poisonous species on this island.
Plus, if he could get his hands on some grapes, he could make wine. He needed some yeast, but he could do it—it was a rather simple process. Even the process of making sugar was simple. And since when he spawned in this world, he only had one pair of clothes, he needed to find a certain bug for silk. While the wild ones didn't act the same as domesticated ones, they could do. He simply needed three different outfits so he didn't wear the same thing and smell like shit.
And soap—he didn't have any. Fuck, he must stink like shit in the future. Hopefully he could make it... actually, he couldn't. He was a surgeon, not a survival expert. While he did watch a couple of shows, he wasn't an expert.
Well, he had enough.
He would get stronger.
No matter what it took, he will get stronger, even if it kills him.
