Chapter 30 - Chapter 30: He Who Wins Ah Yin Wins the World

Chapter 30: He Who Wins Ah Yin Wins the World

On that fateful day, Ah Yin accepted Tang Hao's confession and fell into his arms. His elder brother, Tang Xiao, heartbroken, quietly withdrew and returned to the sect to inherit their family duties.

Tang Hao traveled across the continent with Ah Yin by his side, and during their journey, their love bore fruit—the birth of Tang San.

However, Tang San's birth exposed Ah Yin's spirit beast aura, drawing the attention of the Spirit Hall. Qian Xunji led two Temple Douluo and an army of spirit masters in pursuit, surrounding Tang Hao and leaving him cornered. Ah Yin sacrificed herself for him. Tang Hao, weeping, absorbed her spirit ring and bone, fighting three at once—gravely wounding Qian Xunji, crippling Golden Bell Douluo, and killing Silver Hammer Douluo.

Soon after, Qian Xunji was killed. The reborn Tang Hao later learned that it was Bibi Dong who had assassinated him. Yet, Qian Daoliu placed the blame on Tang Hao, ordering a manhunt that forced the Clear Sky Sect into seclusion.

Depressed and disillusioned, Tang Hao hid in Holy Spirit Village, drowning his days in alcohol. Six years later, his son Tang San awakened twin martial souls, rose against the heavens, and ultimately attained godhood—a dual god—destroying the twin gods of the Spirit Hall and ending its evil reign once and for all.

Before ascending, Tang Hao took a young Life Core sprout from the Lake of Life and planted it at Shrek Academy, preparing it as a vessel for Ah Yin's future divine rebirth. He himself seized the core of the plane and became the master of Douluo Continent.

Tang Hao's brother, Tang Xiao, unable to forget Ah Yin, never married. Though he was Tang San's uncle, when Tang San ascended to godhood, the number of companions he could bring was limited. Tang Xiao, left behind, passed away quietly over a century after the war with the Spirit Hall.

Two brothers, two fates—one founded a divine bloodline and ruled a plane, the other died solitary and sorrowful. The true pivot of their destinies was Tang San.

Tang San had been extraordinary from birth. Although Tang Hao drowned himself in drink, he always kept watch from afar. Before Tang San's awakening, Tang Hao had even suspected a possession and considered purging it. But when Tang San awakened twin martial souls, Tang Hao saw him as a tool for revenge.

After rising to power, Tang San resurrected Ah Yin. Tang Hao grew to treat him as his own, and Tang San, in turn, never let him down—ascending to godhood and securing divine authority for his parents. At that point, whether Tang San was his biological son no longer mattered. No blood son could have been more devoted.

After all, Tang San's body was conceived by him and Ah Yin; his blood carried both their lineage—how could Tang Hao deny his own son?

Upon attaining godhood, Tang Hao learned from Tang San the truth of his reincarnation. Tang San had been a disciple of the Tang Sect from another world, chosen long ago by the Shura God to reincarnate into the Douluo world and inherit divine authority—destined to rule the God Realm. (Note: This clearly distinguishes a true reincarnator from a false one. A true reincarnator never asks the question of fatherhood—the false one does.)

This was not demonic possession; it was divine providence.

Tang San told Tang Hao that when the Shura God prepared for his descent, he chose the Clear Sky Hammer's martial inheritance and the bloodline born of a human and spirit beast union as his vessel. The Shura God had selected Ah Yin as the mother, but the father could be Tang Hao or Tang Xiao—the one who conceived the child with her would be his father.

Thinking now of how, ten thousand years later, he himself became master of the plane while Tang Xiao died in obscurity ages ago, Tang Hao couldn't help but sigh.

Truly, he who wins Ah Yin wins the world. Were it not for Huo Yuhao's later interference, his lineage would have flourished across the Douluo plane, unshakable for all eternity!

"No matter who Ah Yin chooses in the end, the one she rejects must withdraw. Love can't be forced," Tang Xiao said softly, looking at Tang Hao with a trace of guilt. He could see his brother's infatuation, but he already knew Ah Yin's choice. All he could hope for was that his brother would accept it. In the past, as the elder brother, he had always yielded to Tang Hao—but love was not something one could yield.

"Alright, Brother," Tang Hao replied, equally guilty. His memories of more than twenty millennia told him that the outcome of this confession had been decided the day they met. Ah Yin loved his strong, commanding presence—not Tang Xiao's quiet tenderness. For the sake of Ah Yin, for the sake of Tang San, and for the future of Douluo itself, he could not give way. Sorry, brother—but you were fated to lose once more.

The brothers woke Ah Yin, and the three set off together. Tang Xiao led them to a place outside the city where flowers bloomed across the field.

"Brother Xiao, Brother Hao, why did you bring me here?" Ah Yin asked.

Brother Hao? Tang Hao was momentarily bewildered. In his past life, Ah Yin had been their younger sister in name and should have called him "Brother Hao," not "Little Brother Hao."

Then again, he thought of how Tang San had once called Xiao Wu "Sister Xiao Wu," only to later make her his lover—and then the sheath for his divine sword, Star Annihilation. A small inconsistency in title didn't bother him now.

Tang Xiao shot Tang Hao a meaningful look—one that said: You confess first. I'll let you go ahead. The hidden message was obvious: if he spoke first, Tang Hao wouldn't stand a chance.

Tang Hao responded with his own glance: Brother, you go first. I'll go last.

Having lived another life, Tang Hao was completely certain of Ah Yin's feelings for him. There was no suspense in this confession. In fact, he didn't even plan to confess this time.

He knew Ah Yin was deeply entranced by his bronzed chest and commanding aura.

This time, Tang Hao would stand there, quietly, waiting for the woman who loved him to walk to him on her own.

In his mind, he envisioned the scene:

Tang Xiao would confess with deep emotion, and Ah Yin would say guiltily, "I'm sorry, Brother Xiao. You're a good man, but I only see you as my brother. The one I truly love is Brother Hao."

Then, Ah Yin would walk gracefully toward him, take his hand, rest her head on his chest, and whisper softly, "Brother Hao, will you spend your life with me?"

The thought thrilled Tang Hao beyond words.

Tang Xiao looked at him again—You sure about this? No regrets?

Tang Hao's eyes answered, Absolutely. Go ahead, Brother. I insist.

Tang Xiao's gaze returned, resigned—Just don't regret it later.

"Brother Xiao, what are you two doing, exchanging looks like that?" Ah Yin asked curiously.

Tang Xiao hastily replied, "Ah Yin, we're preparing a surprise for you."

"A surprise? What kind of surprise?" Ah Yin's eyes shone with excitement.

Tang Xiao pointed to a nearby tree. "Ah Yin, could you go stand by that tree, facing away from us? When I call you, turn around."

"Alright, Brother Xiao. I'll wait for your surprise." Ah Yin smiled warmly, guessing what might be coming, and went to stand by the tree as instructed.

Tang Hao blinked. The way Ah Yin and Tang Xiao spoke to one another felt… off. Something wasn't right here.

Still, the confidence that came with rebirth made him dismiss it as a mere ripple in the current.
