[You have been chosen for the "Fog of Shell Beach Town" game.]
[Time is up.]
Everyone who either were ready or still getting ready had no more time to prepare themselves.
They all turned into a flash of light and disappeared from the street.
Not only them.
a lot of others had disappeared too a little before or after them.
Clearly, going to different games.
Meanwhile, back to Shell Beach Town.
...
Phew, that was hard.
Who knew it would take so much of my strength to charge this thing!
At first the charge was full after filling up 1 white crystal bar inside the white lights.
It was like a drop of water taken from an ocean world to me for the first one.
I felt no difference at all.
So, I tried to fill the second one.
Same thing.
So... I kept going.
It was not until I filled all 5 bars inside the white light, did I notice something.
There are 5 more behind.
Charging those felt much more difficult.
But 'more difficult' times 'nothing' is still nothing! So, it was done without me even noticing much of a change at all.
Then, 5 more bars appeared behind those 5 bars behind the original 5.
At this point I noticed a pattern.
Every time I filled the first 5 bars; 5 new bars would appear behind it.
Being stubborn and wanting to see the white lights limits, I went ahead and filled those as well.
And those after.
And those ones after as well…
I kept going until I hit 100 bars.
Heh...
It was at that point filling the 95 to 100 bars did I feel like my ocean world levels of reserve energy is now converted to a drop taken from a regular sea for each bar.
Although that is still a lot.
The consumption is a lot more too.
It was at this point that I could be happy with the results and leave it alone.
But what did I do?
Got stubborn and 'mess around and find out' kicked in immediately.
I filled each one again to the limit!
First goal 200!
And 200 I did reach.
At this point, every bar after 200 felt like taking a drop of water from a massive lake.
Massive, but not as massive as before.
But I pressed onwards!
300 bars, now it feels like a drop taken from a dozen Olympic sized swimming pools.
400 bars, each bar now feels like a drop of water taken from a small pond of water.
I was completely exhausted from impatience filling the 495 to 500 bars.
Also, each bar felt like it needed a drop of water from a full cup of water.
Although I can say with certainty that I have plenty in reserve still. About 0.1% of my total reserves have been used up by this point. If I wanted to, I could easily fill 15 or 20 more bars at most after considering the increasing costs.
But I decided to play it 'safe' for once.
And I was growing impatient…
This time around the white light won.
But I will try again in the future!
Meanwhile, those 500 bars.
