Chapter 33 - Conversations and what not.

"Let us start from the beginning." said a short man with a rugged scruffy large beard.

The largest beard of them all I'd say personally.

"We are in a race against time situation; all the values are raised to the extreme in this dungeon doesn't help either. Although, the rise and reconstruction events are rated 0. These values are now raised and rated very close to level 1 after all these changes. You can say they are the hardest level 0 events to exist now." said a short woman with an unusually large axe.

The axe head was nearly twice the size as her head.

"Not to mention the accident and fog invasion events that are now both much more dangerous than before. This fog invasion event can sit firmly at the top echelon of level 2 dangers." said one of them.

"But we brought equipment rated to survive up to a level 3 event. Besides the last one, we should have no problem going through the 4 events. But what worries me is why there are so many of us." said a short old man with a large beard.

"True, usually there are at most a maximum of 100 people per dungeon. But this one is over 1,000 already, from what I counted... there is probably 5,000 here." said one of them.

"5,000!? That is more than 4,000 from the largest recorded event. This is not going to be easy." said another.

"Yeah, but we have been through worse! We narrowly survived by the skin of our teeth a level 5 event 'the silent bell' when we had no choice." Said the youngest of them all. She was also the shortest of them all.

"That was a pyrrhic victory that we just barely completely recovered from not too long ago. Although what you said makes sense, we should have no problems surviving even the fog invasion." said another.

"But we must find an exit before the massive Disappearance of Shell Beach Town. That one is a no joke serious level 7 event that has been raised higher in its own echelon." said another.

"Then we should..."

Yawn...

So... they kept talking all kinds of plans and contingencies afterwards.

But that isn't interesting to me now.

What is interesting is that while this group and others used some methods to hide themselves and talk to each other. The mayor and his personal had quickly lock down the road and arranged guards all along the perimeter.

Those secretaries did an excellent job.

You can see barricades in every spot with a gap or side entrance on this road. With 'guard posts' clustered every few houses.

Not too far away you can see another secretary ordering all kinds of things to be removed from the theater. The Leviathan Grand Theater is not far away from the central square after all. So occasionally you can see them clearly moving some stuff out.

She even demonstrated by intimidating action in throwing away haphazardly some things out personally when they were going too slowly. All because of time taken in up by the 'value' and 'care' of some things.

This set the bosses straight at the theater to work 200% of their full effort, asking their employees to go faster before the guards 'take care' of the valuables.

The other secretary you can see occasionally yelling at some people to go to some buildings and pointing at the mayor's residence.

The mayor only gave the secretaries half an hour for everything to be done. But at this rate, the secretaries will probably finish it all much faster than that.
