Chapter 17
"You bastard—let go of my leg!"
Ibuki Mio raged as her right leg was held firm.
Using it as a pivot, she whipped her left leg up in a sweeping kick.
Her reflexes were impressive—most people couldn't pull off that move.
But as Ye Yu had said, wasn't she just serving herself up on a platter?
He casually caught her left ankle with his right hand and lifted slightly.
Ibuki was wearing the school's standard skirt uniform.
The view underneath was now fully exposed.
"Pervert! Where do you think you're looking?!"
Seeing him stare openly, Ibuki burned with fury.
In a surge of anger, she sat up and threw a vicious punch while both legs were still trapped.
Ye Yu smiled at the incoming fist.
He released her legs and, faster than anyone could track, drove his knee lightly into her abdomen.
Thud.
Ibuki crumpled to the floor, clutching her stomach in agony, face twisted in pain.
He hadn't even used force—just let her momentum do the work.
But with his superhuman physique, the impact was still devastating.
"You…"
Ibuki gritted her teeth.
She'd trained in martial arts since childhood, making her one of the toughest in her age group.
Even stronger guys usually held back against a girl.
That had bred overconfidence: if they lost to her, they deserved it for being weak; if they were stronger, they'd go easy.
She'd never met someone like Ye Yu—who showed no mercy at all.
Is he even a man?
Truth be told, Ye Yu was already holding back tremendously.
If Ibuki weren't attractive, he'd have killed her outright.
He didn't need extra baggage.
Seeing Ibuki taken down in one move, Albert charged with fists raised.
Ye Yu's expression turned icy.
You're pretty—I spared her life. What makes you think you deserve the same?
Boom.
Albert hit the ground like a sack of meat.
The room fell silent in shock.
No one had even seen what happened.
"You damn pest!"
Ryuuen's eyes blazed with fury.
It had been ages since anyone dared provoke him like this.
Two of his top enforcers—down in seconds!
Kushida Kikyo trembled slightly.
Ryuuen's view was partially blocked by clutter.
Ibuki was still curled on the floor, gasping.
Only Kushida, standing closest, had seen everything.
Albert's collapse was unnatural—his body went completely limp.
No visible wounds except a trickle of blood from his mouth.
But to her, he looked… dead.
Her instinct was right.
Ye Yu had struck his chest with a precise punch, channeling ability energy to shatter bones and organs internally.
Externally fine—internally ruined.
"So you became 'king' with just your mouth?"
Ye Yu taunted, his contemptuous gaze stabbing deep.
Ryuuen snatched a loose metal pole from the corner and charged.
"I'll kill you!"
Blinded by rage, he swung the sharp end straight at Ye Yu's head.
A solid hit could kill an ordinary person.
Ryuuen's reputation came from this exact ruthlessness—he fought to maim or worse.
Seeing Ye Yu seemingly frozen, Ryuuen's face twisted into a savage grin.
Got you.
He wasn't worried about consequences.
He'd crippled a student before and walked away with just a payout.
Clang.
Metal rang against flesh.
The pole stopped—pinched firmly between Ye Yu's index and middle fingers.
Ryuuen's eyes widened; he yanked desperately but couldn't budge it.
Ye Yu smiled.
"Didn't you say you were some kind of king?"
Ryuuen glared in furious confusion.
The next instant, the pole ripped free.
An irresistible force slammed into his shoulder, hurling him backward.
Crash!
His back smashed against the wall.
"ARRGH!!"
A bloodcurdling scream tore from his throat.
The metal pole had pierced clean through his shoulder, pinning him to the wall.
Ye Yu approached with a gentle smile, several small throwing knives now in his hand.
"I asked you a question—what kind of king are you?"
A whistle of air.
Agonizing pain exploded in Ryuuen's left ear.
Something dropped to the floor.
He looked down—his own severed ear.
"AAAHHH!!!"
"Talk. Why aren't you answering?"
Another knife flew, piercing his left arm.
"You lunatic!!!"
Kushida, terrified, tried to bolt.
Ye Yu caught her wrist in an iron grip.
Feeling the inescapable strength, she swallowed hard.
"Uh… a teacher was looking for me—I should go…"
Ye Yu tilted his head with a warm smile.
"I don't think any teacher called you. What do you think, Kikyo?"
His handsome, sunny smile didn't reassure her—it sent chills down her spine.
She nodded frantically.
"Y-Yes! I remembered wrong—no one called me!"
Ye Yu caressed her cheek gently.
Though Kushida had a dark heart, her beauty rivaled Karuizawa's.
The feel of her skin was unexpectedly pleasant.
"AAAHH!! You bastard—I'll kill you! I swear I'll kill you!"
Ryuuen continued howling, curses mixed with screams.
Ye Yu held Kushida's hand in his left, dragged Ibuki by the ankle with his right, and walked slowly toward Ryuuen.
Ibuki was beyond terrified.
She'd thought he was just some student.
Now? A complete psychopath.
Ye Yu glanced at the two girls.
"Ibuki, Kikyo—how many knives do you think Ryuuen can take?"
White crystals materialized before their eyes.
They rapidly grew into three gleaming silver daggers.
Kushida and Ibuki's pupils contracted.
He'd conjured blades out of thin air!
