Chapter 19

Gurgle… gurgle…

With one slash across the throat, Ryuuen glared at Kushida Kikyo with deep resentment.

His venomous expression looked as though a vengeful ghost had possessed him.

Then, using every last ounce of strength, he struggled to turn his gaze toward Ye Yu.

He didn't speak, but Ye Yu understood perfectly.

Why? Why do you have to kill me? What did I ever do to offend you?

"You didn't offend me in any way. But Karuizawa Kei is a woman I've set my eyes on. You let people bully her—that made me very unhappy."

Ryuuen's eyes widened to the extreme, as if in his final flash of life.

Blood poured from his mouth as he forced out vague, garbled sounds.

"Jus… for… such… a small… thing… you… kill… me…"

Ye Yu understood.

Just for such a small thing, you want to kill me?

Yes—even in death, Ryuuen still believed that having someone bully a mere student was a trivial matter. He simply couldn't comprehend why Ye Yu would kill him over it.

"Because killing you is also a trivial matter to me. To me, you're nothing more than a rat in the sewer, a cockroach in the dark corner."

Goodbye.

The dagger in his neck slowly vanished. Ryuuen's consciousness gradually blurred.

Finally, his eyes closed slowly.

Ye Yu turned his head and smiled at Kushida Kikyo, whose mind was on the verge of collapse.

"I already know—you were the one who started the bullying against Karuizawa Kei, right?"

Hearing this, Kikyo collapsed straight to the floor.

Listening to Ibuki still screaming in agony, looking at the limp Albert, and then at Ryuuen dead by her own hand— she felt she was truly going mad.

She might be a class-destroying witch, but in the end, she was only a 20-year-old girl.

The worst thing she had ever done before was expose everyone's secrets, causing them to attack each other while she watched the drama from the sidelines.

But now, the man before her was simply a devil.

Her whole body went limp; she could no longer muster any excuses.

"Are you afraid of me? Am I really that scary?"

Ye Yu gently lifted the collapsed Kikyo to her feet.

Then, tenderly, he wiped the red liquid from her face.

"N-No… not scary…"

Kikyo said in a trembling, crying voice.

He patted her shoulder lightly and comforted her.

"Although you were the one who started it, you're still useful to me. As long as you behave, I won't kill you. I believe you'll listen to me and not make me unhappy, right?"

Kikyo immediately nodded frantically.

"I won't! I'll listen to everything! I'll do whatever you say!"

Ye Yu stroked her hair again, speaking even more gently.

"See? This is so much better—no need for unnecessary suffering."

Kikyo glanced at Ibuki, who had fainted from the pain, and swallowed hard.

Then Ye Yu stored Ryuuen's and Albert's corpses directly into his spatial storage.

As for the bloodstains?

If Ibuki woke up and failed to clean them properly, leading to discovery— then she could go rot in prison. He had no patience for idiots who couldn't read the situation.

As for whether Ibuki would report him?

If she ever revealed anything about him, the brain worm would kill her on the spot.

Don't let its centipede-like appearance fool you into thinking it's an ordinary insect. It was a summoned otherworldly beast Ye Yu obtained through his ability. It possessed near-human intelligence and could perfectly execute Ye Yu's commands.

Ye Yu lifted Kikyo by her back and thighs. Amid her startled cry, he scooped her up in a princess carry.

"Y-You… what are you doing?"

Kikyo's heart pounded wildly—not from shy physical contact. She was genuinely terrified!

Ye Yu didn't answer. He simply activated instant teleportation with her in his arms.

As for the warehouse—he had set a simple spatial boundary when he entered. It would last another two hours before dissipating.

During that time, only Ibuki could enter or leave.

If she failed to clean the scene within that window, it would prove she was hopelessly stupid.

Ye Yu openly admitted—he had a severe aversion to stupidity!

Unless you were blessed with overwhelming assets and no brain, you might as well just die.

He had set a spatial coordinate in his own bedroom. In the blink of an eye, they were back there.

While Kikyo stared in shock at the sudden change, Ye Yu roughly tossed her onto the bed, then smiled down at her.

"Now it's time for you to show your value!"

Kikyo's heart trembled.

So it really is like that?

This guy wasn't just a murderer—he was also a sex maniac!

What should she do? Was she really going to have to give herself to him here?

Maybe she could lie and say it's her time of the month!

But what if he was into that kind of thing?

Oh my god… why do I have to go through this?

Should she call the police?

But she quickly dismissed that stupid idea. He had video evidence of her murder. Whether he'd get in trouble was uncertain, but she would definitely go to prison.

And with the powers he'd shown— could ordinary police even handle him?

As Kikyo's mind raced through a thousand chaotic thoughts, her trembling hands finally moved to her clothes, preparing to take them off—

Ye Yu, already impatient, lightly tapped her forehead.

"Are you stupid? What are you spacing out for? Hurry up and get to work!"

He pointed at the computer on his desk.

Kikyo was stunned.

Work? Isn't the "work" you want me to do… that?

"Compile a list of everyone who bullied Karuizawa Kei, ranked by severity of their actions. It might be hard for others, but for you it should be easy, right?"

Kikyo already loved collecting people's secrets, and she was in the same class as Karuizawa. Moreover, she was the one who had actively ordered Ryuuen to start bullying her.

No one knew this matter better than she did.

Kikyo swallowed hard. She finally understood why Ye Yu had kept her alive.

But she didn't hesitate for a second. She immediately opened the computer and began editing a document.

At the same time, she pulled some photos from her cloud drive to supplement the list.

Ye Yu quietly watched Kikyo's hands fly across the keyboard.

More than an hour later, a list of 51 names was complete.

It recorded each person's name, class, and the various creative ways they had bullied Karuizawa.

Some of the acts, in Ye Yu's opinion, weren't even bullying anymore—they were outright crimes!

But that was no surprise.

Campus bullying was always just cruelty disguised as "jokes," after all.

"This is everything I know. I don't think I missed anyone… because I've always been…"

The more she spoke, the more guilty Kikyo sounded. She knew Ye Yu and Karuizawa seemed to have a close relationship.

Ye Yu quickly scanned the list. Then he extended his right hand— a blank sheet of paper slowly formed in his palm.

The words and images on it were exactly what Kikyo had just compiled.

Then Ye Yu took out a small blue round box from his spatial storage.

He pointed upward— a green magic array suddenly appeared.

A group of small insects Ye Yu had summoned before emerged. But this time, behind them was one much larger insect, about four centimeters long.
