Chapter 13 - Chapter 13

Chapter 13

Ye Yu asked; the bullies answered.

Soon, the full picture emerged.

At first, Ye Yu thought this incident would only involve Karuizawa Kei.

But then one familiar name after another surfaced.

Ryuuen Kakeru, Ibuki Mio, Kushida Kikyo…

If the setting weren't university instead of high school, he'd have thought he'd transmigrated into the Classroom of the Elite world.

Karuizawa Kei was a second-year education major at Keiei University.

It all started a year ago, during their freshman orientation.

A chuunibyou delinquent named Ryuuen Kakeru declared he would become the "king" of the university.

No one took the red-haired punk seriously at first.

But using violence and dirty tactics, he quickly subjugated his own class.

Unsatisfied, he expanded—forcing more students to submit through intimidation and sabotage.

Anyone who resisted was driven to drop out.

Once, things escalated badly: he beat a male student so severely the boy was left disabled.

Yet Ryuuen's father's influence buried the entire incident.

After that, Ryuuen truly became the uncrowned king of campus—no one dared cross him.

Karuizawa, instinctively terrified of violent people like him, lived cautiously.

Then one day, out of nowhere, Ryuuen issued an order: all his followers were to bully Karuizawa Kei.

And they were never to let her know it came from him.

None of the girls knew the exact reason.

At first they felt uneasy, but after a few times… they grew addicted to the power rush.

Sometimes it wasn't enough, so they'd extort others too.

After all, Ryuuen had their backs—no one could touch them.

"One last question: why did Ryuuen order you to bully Karuizawa Kei?"

The two girls who'd answered the most questions breathed quiet sighs of relief.

They didn't know the answer—so staying silent felt safe.

Wrong answers meant punishment, after all.

But the leader and Aiko panicked—they'd only gotten one question each so far.

It wasn't that they didn't know; their two "best friends" had hogged every chance.

Desperate to survive, their minds raced.

Suddenly the leader remembered something.

They'd followed Ryuuen early because they were in his original class.

But one girl hadn't: Kushida Kikyo.

She'd been in Karuizawa's class—rumor said they were once close.

Then, a year ago, Kushida suddenly joined Ryuuen's group.

The bullying order came right after.

Could it be… Kushida?

Before the leader could speak, Aiko blurted it out.

"It's Kushida Kikyo! It has to be—no, it's definitely her!"

Ye Yu smiled warmly and nodded in approval.

"I like your attitude. That's the proper way to own up to your mistakes!"

The other three relaxed visibly at his friendly tone.

Only the leader remained uneasy, sweat beading on her forehead as she looked at him hopefully.

"L-Lord Demon… when you said you'd throw someone off, you were just scaring us, right? It was a joke, wasn't it?"

Ye Yu regarded her playfully.

She trembled violently, tears soaking her cheeks—no trace left of her earlier arrogance.

"Do I look like someone who jokes around? I said I'd throw you off—so I will."

Hearing such cruelty delivered with a smile, she broke down completely.

Why did I have to run into this psychopath?!

"No—you can't! You absolutely can't kill me! If you murder me, you won't get away with it either! Murder is illegal—you'll spend your life in prison!"

Ye Yu nodded as if agreeing.

"You're right. Murder is illegal."

Hope flickered for a split second—then his smile turned utterly demonic.

"But I never said I would push you."

The moment the words left his mouth, the other three's bodies moved again against their will.

In horrified disbelief, they lifted the leader into the air and began walking toward the cliff.

"Put me down! Let go! Somebody—anybody—help!!!"

Ye Yu pulled out his phone and filmed the scene with casual interest.

Then, under the three girls' terrified gazes…

They hurled her over the edge.

"AAAHHHH!!!"

A final, despairing scream echoed as she plummeted.

Instantly, their bodies regained control.

But the three murderers collapsed to their knees, drained of strength.

"Tsk tsk. You're terrifying. That was straight-up murder."

Ye Yu crouched beside them, showing off his recording.

"You demon! You're the devil!! We didn't kill her—it was you! Everything was you!"

"You'll die a horrible death—you monster!"

"Sob… this has to be a nightmare… God, please wake me up…"

Ye Yu stood slowly, his smile gone.

"Three choices.

One: jump after her right now.

Two: I hand this video to the police. Don't worry—I'll make sure you confess. You're all over 18—adults. A lifetime in prison might suit you."

The three shook their heads frantically at the mention of jail.

"Please—no prison! Spare us…"

Hearing their fearful, sobbing pleas, Ye Yu remained expressionless.

"Third choice: my shoes are dirty."

The girls blinked in confusion.

Shoes…?

"Do I need to repeat myself, you useless trash?"

Aiko reacted first.

She scrambled over on all fours and began frantically cleaning his shoes with her sleeve.

The other two quickly followed.

Ye Yu gently stroked Aiko's cheek.

Healing energy flowed from his hand—swelling vanished, skin returning to flawless porcelain in seconds.

"Good. As long as you obey, I won't hurt you.

From today on, you're my dogs. And I'm very kind to my dogs."

He pointed at Aiko.

"The two of you answer to her now. Of course, feel free to try betraying me. Just remember—traitors only get death."

The three, utterly broken, nodded like mad.

Satisfied, Ye Yu grabbed their clothes.

In a flash, they were airborne—hovering above the mountain base.

Below, their former friend's mangled body lay in a pool of blood.

All three squeezed their eyes shut.

Energy swirled from Ye Yu.

The ground erupted—rocks and earth forming a deep pit.

The corpse dropped in.

Moments later, the mountain looked untouched, as if nothing had happened.
