The Blood Knight's jaw was dislocated, his brain stem was shocked, and he immediately lost consciousness.
Before his body fell to the floor, Myles grabbed his neck with his right hand and his left hand grasped his right hip.
In a split-moment, he pondered, head-drill drop might be more effective if I utilized my demonic energy effectively with it.
Myles then poured demonic energy on his feet and rotated his body faster because of the enhancement.
Now that the Blood Knight lost his spinal integrity after being struck with the Black Hammer, being spun around made its torso to twist, his balance collapsed inward, and his head to dip into the spiral line.
Eventually, the Blood Knight was being coiled around Myles' center.
Once coiled, Myles redirected the spiral downward instead of sideways, creating a corkscrew descent path.
The Blood Knight's center was no longer upright, their head became the lowest point in the spiral, and his own body mass became the driving force.
Myles also injected his demonic energy inside the Blood Knight's body to amplify the rotation.
He let go of the Blood Knight's body and it continued to rotate at a rapid speed downward.
His head hits the ground first, causing neck and spinal shock.
His nervous-system blacked out, his breathing and posture collapsed entirely, resulting in his immediate death.
The Blood Knights in the surroundings were completely frozen, even Nyxara's mind turned blank.
The Blood Knight's body was completely mangled. His armor failed to regenerate as he laid on the floor lifeless.
The floor caved in from his corkscrew descent, spreading fissures around.
Myles took a step back, seemingly returning to defend the training dummy as he swept his gaze around.
The Blood Knights were frozen in fear. When they met his gaze, they shuddered.
If they messed with the training dummy behind Myles, they would certainly die as well.
At the same time, the scent of their kin, sticking to the killer permeated from Myles and they were furious.
Their kin actually died and Myles showed no mercy at all.
They were about to make a move against Myles when they heard their Mistress shout.
"Stop! Stop!"
The Blood Knight controlled their temper as they kneeled in one knee simultaneously.
Nyxara arrived in front of Myles and scolded him.
"Why did you kill him?"
Myles instantly replied in an indifferent tone, "I thought he could handle my attacks. He's at the Rank 1 Common Demon rank, right?"
Nyxara was taken aback. She also thought Myles would be beaten up, not only by the rank disparity but with the fact that the Blood Knights were trained not only to defend the training dummy but for assassination.
Although they were not suited for assassination with their size, at the very least, they became weapons of war with their ability to attack important figures simultaneously.
Yet, not only Myles neutralized him, he killed him in an instant.
She gazed at Myles with widened eyes, not knowing what to say.
Myles swept his gaze past her and landed at the Blood Knights.
He shouted, "And what are you thinking? Trying to take revenge? Don't you have pride as a knight? Shouldn't his death serve as a lesson?"
The strongest among the Blood Knight immediately replied, "His defeat should be enough to serve as a lesson, not his death."
Myles instantly replied, "But will it be as effective as his death? Also, now that you're angry at me, shouldn't you be more motivated and fight me fairly? That way, you really are learning from his death.
The way you wanted to take revenge is simply just to cover the embarrassment of your profession, not to learn."
The Blood Knights were unable to retort. Myles' argument was on point.
However, the desire to take revenge for the death of their kin was already rooted in them. Failing to do so would be unable to heal their mental and emotional state.
Nyxara was aware of it, so she said, "You don't know anything about them."
Myles shook his head and said, "I don't need to know. The way they treated the death of their kin is already enough."
His words might be told towards Nyxara, but it was definitely directed at them.
They slowly raised their heads and stared at Myles, who stood imposingly and said, "It has been integrated in your culture, it should be changed now. It affects your master greatly. If you aim to protect your Master with the best of your ability, or accomplish their order in assassinating others more effectively, you should abolish your culture that obstructs you to learn and improve."
"I did not kill him for no reason. I have to open all your minds and hearts."
The Blood Knights were surprised. They thought Myles was being hostile to them, apparent from how he interacted with the Blood Knight he killed, and yet he acted he wanted to change them and improve them.
The strongest among the Blood Knight said, "You can't force us to follow your principle as a knight of the Mistress. You have your way, we have our way."
Myles grinned. "How stubborn. If you don't want to change your ways and improve, how about when I create my own group, teach them the correct way of becoming a knight? It might not happen now, but it will, eventually and inevitably."
Now that their purpose was being threatened, the Blood Knights ruminated on Myles' words.
Indeed, their stubborn ways of focusing on taking revenge on the death of their kin, rather than improving themselves to be an efficient knight to their Master was their biggest problem.
They glanced at each other and seemed to have reached the same conclusion.
The strongest among them, who was at the Rank 1 Common Demon rank, said, "Our commander is currently with the Lady of Chains and Whisphered Vows. We will inform him of what happened."
Myles shrugged and said, "Go ahead. But leave it to your subordinate, we will have a duel instead. Promise, I won't kill you."
The Blood Knight was taken aback, unable to utter a word immediately.
