Chapter 8 - Chapter 8: Enemies Meet On A Narrow Path

'Wow!' she exclaimed as she parked her car in the spacious parking lot with numerous luxurious cars that nearly blinded her eyes.

"It's a good thing that I only came after getting some money. I would be embarrassed otherwise," she patted her bouncy chest with relief, shocked by the luxury of the mall.

Amabel packed her bag and alighted from the car. She locked the door before walking calmly towards the plaza while checking the others who were either going to the plaza or leaving. However, there was one common thing she found from those who were leaving.

They were holding something in their hands. They didn't leave with empty hands making her wonder just how much money they left behind. Thank goodness, it wasn't her coffers she would be emptying.

Amabel was a beautiful woman with a voluptuous body that couldn't be hidden even wearing a sack. Wherever she went, eyes would turn and this time it was no exception.

She has always been the kind of person who carried herself with confidence. It made it difficult for others to discern her level. They simply assume that she was a beauty from a rich family and that was something that was almost common in this plaza.

It was just a matter of how rich your family is, in the end.

Amabel entered the plaza undisturbed which was completely different from those other shopping malls. Where after entering, even a sleazy scumbag would try his luck just because he has a card with money. But here, everyone who comes was loaded in some way. So how could that trick work?

Feeling much confident, Amabel didn't waste time but went straight to the shops that she had targeted last night.

She started with Burberry. When she entered, the sales attendants welcomed her warmly which also put her at ease.

"Miss, what are you looking for? I will help you in whatever way!"

Being offered assistance, Amabel didn't decline it but readily accepted.

"I need clothes that suits me and can be worn at any occasion," she stated her demands and the sales attendant didn't waste time but started offering suggestions on the spot as she led Amabel to the section where some recent arrivals were.

Amabel spent thirty minutes in that shop and left with a smile on her face, plus several shopping bags. Even the sales attendants had brighter smiles, than her.

After purchasing in Burberry, she went to her next shop, Dior. In this shop, she wanted to add more to the clothes she had already purchased in Burberry.

After gaining some experience from the last shop, she was quite calm this time and knew what she wanted. Besides, she learnt one thing. If you don't know what to buy, then go for the most expensive ones.

With that in mind, she started her shop with a peaceful mind but only to be disrupted when she was at the lingerie section, in a dilemma thinking about what to pick.

After all, she understood the importance of luring her man. If she wore casual lingerie, she might not entice Valentine and that was dangerous. She wanted him to always think about her. She wanted to use her charm and the body that she had been insulted for years for to keep him tied to her.

From the moment she chose to walk down this path, she vowed to put all the effort and go all in.

And since Valentine's prowess was something that she truly appreciates, she needed to put more effort in that regard.

With that in mind, she stood there in a daze wondering if it would be better if she picked that push up bra or demi bra. As someone with a bountiful chest, she wanted to maximize the allure of her assets. If she wore the push-up bra, the impact would be great and the demi, she could already see the string of red liquid streaming down his nose.

Should she just buy one kind or both?

While lost in thought, conflicted on what to buy, someone decided to disturb her peace.

"Tche! I have been wondering why the back silhouette looks familiar. It's you, Amabel! Which winds brought you here?" a familiar sarcastic female voice rang in Amabel's ears disrupting her from her thoughts.

Amabel turned around to look at this person she didn't think would meet again so fast while cursing inwardly for checking her fortune. Otherwise, of all people, why did it have to be her?

Amabel looked at Susan who was dressed in designer brands from head to toe. It was as if she was afraid that people won't recognize her effort. Must she be that over the top?

"The same winds that brought you here. Am I not allowed to be here?" Amabel snapped at Susan, fining her quite irritating at this moment.

She could tolerate Susan's antics anywhere else but in such places like these, she truly just wanted to shop in peace but would Susan allow her such?

Susan was very pissed off to be honest. Since when did Amabel had guts to retort her like that? whom did she think she was?

After sending news about Amabel to that second-generation young master interested in Amabel and not her, something that had always infuriated her. He sent her some money and thinking about showing off and putting Amabel in her place, she decided to come and buy a new bag in Dior. Who knew that she would come across Amabel?

A person who couldn't even afford paying hospital bills suddenly appeared in Dior. What was she doing there?

Susan felt restless especially after seeing how Amabel was glowing and dressed in that expensive dress. She might not know the brand but her eye for good clothes was something that wouldn't let her down.

So, which bastard did Amabel latched onto?

She couldn't help but look around as she snapped back at Amabel, "is this a place for you to be? Heh, you know your status pretty well, Amabel. You can't even afford a cup of milk tea and here you are trying to flaunt like a rich young lady. Who are you fooling?" her tone dripping with sarcasm and mocking, it made those in the shop to stop and watch the drama.
