LOCATION:NORTHERN PLAIN
"Say, how could you leave me alone when you go fight the berserk taurus!" Raye whine as they travel through the northern plain.Despite being a noble, this kid have a childish side.
"By the way, I never really get to ask your age, I'm 21,"
This kid never shut up does he?
"I'm a thousand years old,"
"Really?, Well you did time travel and got sent to the present times, you should be 4000 years old. Wait, that's not the question now is it? How do you live that long?" Raye was shocked when he say this.
"Us dark sages tend to live for over 5000 years due to the massive usage of black magic which related to the demon king power, Im only a thousand years old before I got sent to here so I still get to live for another 4000 years, that said, is there any dark sages out here?"
"Well, yes they all are still alive to this day but they don't really make big move or anything,"
"I thought so"
They both travel through the northern plain which is quite big. It would take about a month or so to leave the northern plain.
"Why do we need travel on foot, It would be easier if we travel on transport, "Raye asked the shadow sage as they walk.
"Doesn't adventure be more fun if we travel by foot, besides, the coins we have is only enough to cover up our meal and place to stay, you should know this yourself "

"We will stop by the nearest town to rest up for a while ," Will said as he notice a what seems to be a town in a distance from them.
30 minute have passed as they finally reached the town. The town folks seems quite friendly. They greeted them and give them a tour around the town. Will and Raye decided to stay for the night and continue the next day.
Raye:"those town folk are quite the nice guy to us aren't they?"
Will:" ....."
At night, while they are sleeping,Raye heard noises outside the inn. He went to take a look and to see the town folks gathered around the town square with a person standing in the middle.That person suddenly look at the inn and noticed Raye staring at them,Raye quickly hide as the person ordered the town folks to bring Raye out. Raye noticed that Will is already standing behind of the main door. Will ask Raye to come closer and then he cast a spell onto Raye. Despite they have been traveling for a while, he still doesn't fully trust Will, but for this instance he got to trust him now.
"What we going to do?"
"we fight them"
"What!"
Will then grab Raye and smash open the door. They both run trying to escape but the town folks are in their way, Raye stop Will as he is trying to use his shadow magic to devour the town folks in his way. Raye implying that the town folks are being manipulated, Will have no choice but to bring Raye with him and fly out of the inn.They then landed outside and notice the person.He then tries to manipulated Will and Raye mind but it have no effect on them. Raye realized that the magic Will cast was a protection magic that protects Raye from being manipulated.
?:" How? Thats not possible.My magic is perfect, no one is able to block them"
"Perfect? That magic you use isn't anything near perfect ,its full of flaws, you're just lucky that you didn't meet powerful mages that can block your magic until now" Will mock and laugh at that person that manipulated this whole town.
?:" The SUN god will punish you when his return!"
Raye realize the situation once that mysterious person say "SUN god". That person, is a member from the 'SUN Cult'. He is probably trying to manipulated everyone in this town to worship their so called"SUN god".
Will:"A black magic user still exist even now, how surprising "
The 'SUN Cult' is a big party full of black magic user. It is said that the person who established the 'SUN Cult' was also a black magic user during the demon king era. Once the king was dead, that person started bringing in lost black magic user into worshipping this "SUN god" which leads to the establishment of the 'SUN Cult'.
"Let's end this quickly shall we," Will speak as the surrounding started to cover in shadow. The cult member started to panic seeing the situation.Suddenly , the shadow of that cult member move on its own and it grab the head of its owner, the cult member face was full of horror,
"shadow? Black magic is forbidden in here, o-only The SUN god believer know black magic, is he a betrayer , no, that shadow magic is to perfect, that piece of clothing..."
SUN god believer? is that what they call themselves.
" YOU, YOU ARE THE SHADOW SAGE-''
The cult member then got his head ripped off by his own shadow before he could finish his sentence. The shadow of the cult member then glide toward Will and it becomes one of Will shadow collection.
Raye was horrified, seeing such brutal scenes. Is this how dark sages finish off their opponents?After that, he told Will not to do that anymore and the town folks have been freed from the manipulation.
The town folks apologized to Will and Raye, which they say to help cover their fee of staying overnight in here.By dawn, they both set of and continue their journey.
