Will and Raye continue their journey in the Northern Plain, visiting town time to time, doing quest, slaying beast in their way. Its almost been two month since they travel in the Northern Plains.
Will:"How long we're going to reach to the next kingdom?"
Raye:"We're about to reach, I guess it will take a week or so to reach,"
Raye take a look at the map as they walk.The kingdom they are supposed to visit and ask to join forces to stop 'The Cult' is the Arron Kingdom.Unlike Hiden Kingdom that was known for their excel in magic, the Arron Kingdom are known for their healing magic. The best priest you could ever ask for all comes from the Arron Kingdom.Hiden King decided to ask them to join forces is for them to support during the great battle with 'The Cult' that will happen if Hiden Kingdom manages to join forces with the other kingdoms. 'The Cult' know nothing about this since if they do The Kingdom of Hiden would be done for. After the demise of the demon king.The demon king followers have lay low and not doing anything.All thee kingdom let their guard downs for a few thousand years since then. But now the upcoming cult situation, having the best mages in the whole world won't be enough of defeating 'The Cult'. Only Dark sages know how terrifying black magic could be.
They decided to stop by a small city to spend the night.As they return to the guild after some quest, there was a huge commotion at the counter.
?:"This frog beast is hard to fight, shouldn't our reward be higher!"
Lady:"sorry sir but this is the easiest quest from the board,"
?:"Are you mocking us for being weak!"
Lady:"I didn't mean it like that, sorry..."
People inside the guild mumble to each other about the hero party making a fuss.The frog beast is indeed easy to kill.Poking your sword in the middle of both of their eye should kill them easily.
?:"Anyone got an issue with us!"
Everyone in the guild went silent since they wouldn't want to get their ass involved in his situation.
Suddenly, someone hit that hero shoulder cutting his line as he reach for the counter.The hero grab his shoulder,
"You got a problem with me? We could fight if you got a grudge with me."
"Don't touch me"
Will push the hand off his shoulder as he went to the counter to retrieve his reward.
"Don't you know who I am, I'm Sehn of the Yeno Family"
Yeno family is a noble same as the Winston Family. Yeno Family have own this city decades ago.
"I could easily kick you out of this city"
Sehn yell at Will as he retrieve his reward.
Raye:"Hey Will we shouldn't hold any grudge with him.He Is a noble and can easily get us ban from this city."
Will then turn his back and Sehn and said:
"I couldn't care less about you and your family, maybe shutting that mouth of yours should do the trick for weakling like you."
Sehn:"How dare you turn your back against me!"
Sehn drew out his sword and tries to slash Will but got burn on his sleeve which stop him and make him drop.Will didn't cast anything, or should I say silent casting. Silent casting can be achieve by honing your magic so powerful that you no need to say spell to cast it.Although this is hard and only high class mage can achieve this.
Sehn:"I will ban you from ever coming to this city!"
Will and Raye walk out of the guild as Sehn scream at them.
Raye:" You really done it now haven't you!"
Will:" fear what?I could just burn them or use shadow magic to devour them."
Raye:"You can't do that to a noble,"
At evening, they were about to enter their inn, they were stopped by the guards working at this city.
"step back you two, you are ask to leave this city at once, this is a direct order from his highness Sehn."
Will was stop by Raye from doing his shadow magic.
Raye:" I'm Raye Winston from the Winston Family, I liked to speak with the Duke of the Yeno Family."
The guards then stop for a moment as the leader of the guards.
"Fine then, we will escort you to meet the duke."
Inside the tiny palace own by the duke, Will found himself face to face with the duke and Sehn.
Raye:"Duke Yeno, i apologised for what my comrades do to your son, I hope not to get ban in this city if we ever going to return"
Sehn:"Father, I say we ban them, that mage attack me with his silent casting fire spell.It gave me a burn mark that might stay on forever."
Will:"You were annoying so I decided to give you a piece of my mind."
Sehn:"You were disrespecting a noble, know your place you filthy-"
Duke:"SILENCE!"
The duke shouted before things got heated.Sehn then quiet down.
Duke:"A noble from the Winston Family, I see"
Everyone was silent at that moment. No one dare to speak up.
Duke:"I apologized for how immature my son is, I should give him discipline after that."
Sehn tries to oppose but got shut down by the glare of his father.
Duke:" I hope this wouldn't affect our relationship with the Winston Family"
Raye:" Its alright, I will act as nothing had happened"
Raye smiled. He knew all along that their family relationship was close and the duke wouldn't do anything to ruin it.
Duke:"I hereby apologize for my son immature behavior"
The next day, Will and Raye set of to the next destination, The Kingdom of Arron.
