Chapter 7 – The Frozen Hunt
The story begins exactly where the previous chapter ended.
Several extremely powerful beings were watching a game of death from above.
At first, it felt like they were talking about our MC,
but the truth was—they couldn't see him at all.
The MC was currently on a different planet.
The one they were actually talking about
was a girl—
a girl who had just awakened her power.
The scene shifts.
Navi was learning how to control the power of the Ring.
He was genuinely happy.
Now he finally understood how the Ring truly worked.
Once again, Navi dripped his blood onto the Ring.
The Ring instantly activated.
This time, it launched a direct attack on the monster.
The monster was severely injured,
and Navi defeated it with ease.
He began carefully observing the Monster Core.
At the same time,
another System Window appeared,
repairing his cave.
Navi's attention then shifted to a water-type monster.
He observed it carefully from a distance.
Suddenly—
A sharp flash! ⚔️
The sea monster was split in half.
Navi froze in shock.
It was her.
The same girl.
Navi felt fear the moment he saw her.
An overwhelming amount of power radiated from her body.
The girl picked up the Monster Core.
The System scanned her rank—
but the result showed: ❓ Question Mark
The weapon in her hand was so powerful
that it could easily kill an S-Rank Monster.
Terrified, Navi retreated far away.
Navi (thinking):
"What is this… why do my problems never end?"
He spoke to the System—
"Activate safety mode for my cave."
The System immediately complied.
Elsewhere,
the girl continued hunting monsters alone.
Once again, a System Window appeared before the MC.
Monsters everywhere began fleeing in fear.
Navi thought—
"Is she a friend… or an enemy?"
For now, he decided to keep watching her.
Suddenly, the System announced—
⚠️ "SS-Rank Monster detected." ⚠️
The moment the monster appeared—
The entire area froze solid.
Buildings, land, air—
everything was trapped in ice.
Navi was stunned.
"What kind of monster is this…?"
Even the girl was shaken by its entrance—
yet a strange excitement appeared on her face.
She spoke—
"If I kill it…
I can finally escape this place."
Above them,
those powerful beings continued watching,
enjoying the spectacle.
Now they began placing bets.
Who will win?
The SS-Rank Monster… or the girl?
Strangely,
they still could not see Navi at all.
Slowly, the monster revealed itself.
Huge claws.
A massive lizard-like body,
covered in ice.
Its arrival completely changed the atmosphere.
The monster spoke to the girl—
"You won't survive."
Then, laughing—
"I've been waiting for a powerful human for so long.
It's been ages since I last tasted one…
Today, I'll devour you."
With that, it launched a blindingly fast attack.
The girl barely managed to block it
and was thrown far away.
She drew her sword and counterattacked—
but the monster easily stopped her strike
by creating an ice wall in front of itself.
Suddenly—
a strike from behind!
The girl was badly injured.
Blood began to flow.
The monster was overwhelmingly strong.
She couldn't match its speed.
It injured her repeatedly,
playing with her,
mocking her weakness.
Watching this, Navi felt fear grip his heart.
"If even she can't survive…
how can I?"
Then—
The monster formed a sharp ice blade
and drove it straight into her stomach.
She collapsed to the ground.
Her weapon slipped from her hand.
Without mercy,
the monster slit her throat.
It then opened a blue-colored portal with its hand.
The girl's body and head
were dragged inside the portal.
Navi could only watch in silence.
At that moment,
the MC's eyes locked onto the weapon
the monster had left behind.

the chapter ends there.
