Chapter 10 – Mad Awakening
The story begins exactly where the previous chapter ended.
Navi had collapsed to the ground, unconscious.
⏳ Two days later…
Navi slowly opens his eyes.
A sharp pain explodes inside his head, as if someone is hammering his brain from the inside.
"Ugh…"
He tries to move.
That's when he notices it—
A weapon is tightly clenched in his hand.
Navi looks around.
The entire area is completely destroyed.
Broken ground, shattered structures…
and countless monster corpses scattered everywhere.
"Who did all this?"
"How long have I been unconscious?"
One thought keeps repeating in his mind—
What happened after I picked up this weapon?
But his memories…
are completely blank.
Just then—
🖥️ The system speaks
System:
"Yes, Master…"
Navi frowns.
"Tell me… how many days was I unconscious?"
System:
"Master, you were unconscious for three days."
Navi's mind spins.
"Three days?"
"Then why are there monsters everywhere?"
"How did the sword move on its own?"
And the strangest part—
"You refused to even call me 'Master' before…"
"So what changed?"
The system remains silent.
Flashback
We are shown a scene from the past—
Navi is laughing like a madman.
His eyes shine with something unnatural.
He fires an arrow straight into the sky—
💥 BOOM!
The ground trembles violently.
Navi collapses…
yet continues laughing.
The system panics.
"Master… what's wrong with you?"
Navi suddenly stops laughing.
"Silence."
Then, in a cold voice—
"From now on, you'll do exactly what I say."
"Otherwise…
I'll kill you."
He raises his fist toward the system interface.
The system trembles violently.
System (terrified):
"Who… who are you?"
"You are not my Master!"
Then—
😨 A shocking moment
Navi grabs the system window
and starts crushing it with his hand.
The system screams:
"No one can physically touch me!"
"How are you doing this?!"
Navi bursts into insane laughter again.
He suddenly lets go and says calmly,
"Do exactly as you're told."
Back to the Present
Suddenly—
🐍 BOOM!
A powerful monster launches a direct attack.
The same attack that the ice monster had used earlier—
sent only to test him.
System:
"Master… A-Rank monster detected—
White Snake."
One strike sends Navi flying far away.
An icy fog spreads across the battlefield.
Navi stands up…
with an excited smile on his face.
"Well, well…"
"A prey has arrived…"
"To die by my hands."
The snake laughs mockingly.
"A tiny human like you?"
"Humans are weak compared to monsters."
Navi replies coldly,
"By calling me weak—
you've made your first and last mistake."
He turns to the system.
"Put the fist into the storage."
System (hesitating):
"Master… how will you—"
Navi glares at it.
The system instantly obeys.
Navi's ring activates.
The snake grins.
"Shall we begin?"
The White Snake transforms into its human form,
though some parts still resemble a serpent.
⚔️ The fight begins
The snake attacks with lightning speed.
Navi is thrown far back—
blood spilling from his mouth.
Yet…
he smiles.
Navi advances calmly,
dodging attacks with ease.
A sharp counter—
✂️ Slash!
A deep cut appears on the snake's face.
The snake grows furious.
Navi mocks him,
"What happened?"
"Having trouble dodging attacks?"
He grabs the monster by the leg
and slams it repeatedly into the ground—
left, right, again and again.
The monster is completely overwhelmed.
Navi throws it away—
it crashes through a building before stopping.
This is no longer a fight…
it's a game.
Enraged, the snake unleashes its power.
❄️ Ice attack!
Sharp ice spikes erupt from the ground—
piercing straight through Navi's chest.
The snake shouts,
"How foolish!"
"You couldn't even dodge that!"
An ice sword forms—
piercing straight through Navi's heart.
⏸️ Silence.
Navi's body doesn't move.
The snake believes he is dead
and approaches to confirm.
👁️ Suddenly—
Navi's eyes snap open.
The snake stumbles back in fear.
😈 A twisted smile appears.
