(The Birth of a Monster)
Our story begins exactly where the previous chapter ended.
The MC is badly injured, his body broken and soaked in blood.
The monster believes the MC is dead. Thinking the battle is over, it starts moving toward Navi.
Suddenly—
A creepy smile appears on the MC's face.
In an instant, his eyes open.
The monster freezes in fear and falls backward.
Before its eyes, all of the MC's wounds begin to heal rapidly.
Shocked, the monster shouts,
"H-How… how is your heart healing?"
Navi calmly replies,
"What you just saw… is nothing."
In the next moment, the MC throws a powerful punch, sending the monster flying far away.
The MC speaks coldly,
"Show me your true power. I've been waiting for this."
The monster trembles in fear.
"What… what do you want?" it asks.
The MC smiles darkly.
"I want your life."
He grabs the monster's arm and breaks it instantly.
The monster screams in agony.
The MC commands,
"Use your skill."
When the monster hesitates, the MC breaks its leg and slams it into the ground, creating a massive crater.
The monster is still alive, but the MC beats it mercilessly.
Seeing this, Navi steps closer.
Terrified, the monster finally surrenders.
Navi asks,
"Now tell me… who is weak?"
Shaking violently, the monster answers,
"I-I am… I'm weak."
Completely broken, it reveals its ability—
the power to control weaker monsters.
The MC covers his mouth and laughs.
"That's a useful skill."
Then he orders,
"Call every monster nearby.
Tell them to attack me."
Within moments, one thousand monsters appear—
B-rank, C-rank, monsters of every level.
The MC laughs again.
He calls the system.
The system appears, trembling,
"Y-Yes, Master. What is your command?"
In a chilling voice, the MC says,
"Bring me my weapon.
And collect every monster core that drops."
The MC fires an arrow into the sky.
Suddenly, a thousand arrows rain down, piercing the monsters.
Many are badly injured; some enter berserk mode.
As the arrows strike, the MC says,
"These are my skills."
He sets the weapon aside and walks straight toward the monsters.
Like a madman, he slaughters them brutally.
At that moment, the MC himself becomes a true monster.
All the monsters are filled with fear.
The third stage of the ring unlocks.
Its color changes from blue to yellow.
The MC's eyes glow yellow.
His speed becomes terrifying—he moves in every direction, killing monsters instantly.
His body is soaked in blood.
The ground turns red with monster blood.
Even the sword's soul trembles in fear.
Sometimes the MC tears out a monster's heart.
Sometimes he rips off a monster's head with his bare hands.
Within moments, all the monsters are dead.
Navi says,
"Call more monsters."
The White Snake, shaking, replies,
"T-There are no monsters nearby…"
The MC smiles coldly.
"Then you are no longer useful."
Sweat pours down the White Snake's body.
In the next instant, the MC appears beside the sword—
so fast that neither the monster nor the sword's soul can react.
The MC speaks softly,
"Who's watching me?
Will you come out… or should I come inside?"
Smiling again, he adds,
"Now, entertain me."
The sword's soul emerges, trembling,
"W-What is your command, my Master?"
The MC grabs the sword and slashes once.
The White Snake is cut into two pieces.
Navi says quietly,
"Impressive."
The MC asks,
"Where do we go next?
Where can we find more monsters?"
The sword points forward,
"That way… many monsters await."
Navi starts walking in that direction.
With every step, the ground trembles—
their power has grown beyond control.
And thus,
the birth of a nightmare continues…
