Chapter 14 - ACTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES

Collins flew through the building and p city.

Raphael, Darren and Yamaluk each stayed in the hospital receiving treatment.

Darren had immediately grown a hatred for Art Users.

A fire burned through his eyes that could not be quenched.

The investigation took place as soon as the men were brought to safety.

"We have report of a break in during the meeting by higher authorities to decide whether Art Users would be banned--".

Williams watched the news and began to smirk.

"The plan worked perfectly", Williams gestured to himself as he watched the news in the television.

"We also have report that Collins was found dead at the bottom of the building during the break in--".

Williams smirk dimmed.

"The plan had worked a bit too well", Williams then illustrated to himself.

It was surprising to note that of the break in done by the masked man, only Collins had died.

The rest of the men proved to be conscious except badly injured.

Raphael and Darren were furious and immediately instituted for the banning of all Art Users.

This law though, was immediately instituted by the Mayor.

Williams didn't take long to realize the full effects of the plan.

The city were performing an all out investigation for the masked man while evicting every Art User in the city even if brutal means is required.

He also knew that once the case was solved, he would be hated by every other Art User that lived in the city.

The only thing he regretted was the killing of Collins which he felt was unneeded.

He walked up to the room of Arnold.

"Pack your bags. We are leaving now", Williams told Arnold who sat still in the lightly lit room.

Arnold stared at him, eyes fixed on him.

Silence.

"Why are we moving so suddenly?", Arnold then questioned the already worried Williams.

Williams exhaled cold air and replied.

"Haven't you heard the news, Art Users have been banned from the city ever since the break in".

Arnold looked at Williams with a disdain smile.

"Who on earth would be foolish enough to break in".

Williams groaned and began yelling.

"Just get your things ready so we can leave", Williams then stared at Arnold forcefully and walked away.

The news was shocking for Arnold.

The location of their apartment seemed to be the perfect spot in Calivac City.

It sited close to his parents house, so if he ever decided to visit his parents house, it would be like a five minute drive and a fifteen minute walk without disturbances.

Arnold looked distorted when his mother barged in holding Favour in hand.

"Your dad has been acting so strange of recent since that police visit", Victoria told Arnold.

Arnold shifted his gaze towards the wall in front of him.

'Is it possible that the break-in has something related to dad?', Arnold thought to himself with hands on chin as though lost in thought.

The hype was a sketch and the hypothesis a gamble.

It seemed rather unlikely that Williams would have any part doing in this match.

Both did look a bit worried though, knowing how Williams got when someone messes with their family.

Williams, on the other hand, had his brows nearly touching each other.

His eyes burning in fury.

"They still did not call off the ban even after all my threats", Williams thought to himself as he stuffed all his clothes in a near by suitcase.

"Maybe I didn't make my point clear!", Williams then told himself, a bright dim flash of dark blue glimmered through the morning sun.

Derek, his main threat was still out there.

Williams didn't appreciate that fact.

Derek had only recently heard about the news of the Art User break-in and only one name rung in his head.

'Williams'.

He thought of it as a rather logical hypothesis.

Williams seemed rather protective when it came to his family and possessing that much power could bring about devastating consequences.

Although, it did also seem likely that the case was to large and bizarre for it to be done by Williams.

Nonetheless, Derek brought the matter to the head of the inspections.

Roy Dickin.

The name brought to the table seemed far-fetched but not still off from the truth.

Roy took it into consideration.

Williams looked annoyed and discomforted as he packed up for the move.

More of the reason why he was caught unaware when Victoria arrived this time without Favour.

Williams couldn't handle a minor and soft conversation with his wife.

At the moment, everything was going a little bit far from plan and Williams decided to put things back into order.

"You okay", Victoria asked Williams patiently waiting for a reply.

Williams glanced at her, witnessing the worry for him and her children.

He exhaled and finally spoke.

"Not really. A lot has been going on now and I have no idea what I am doing anymore!", Williams mentioned now facing the floor.

Victoria nodded.

"If you are passing through something right now, I am here to help you.

Don't keep it bottled in to yourself", Victoria retorted back at Williams.

Williams let off a faint smile.

Victoria did the same as they exchanged glances.

It felt nice for Williams to finally share his problems with someone else.

The connection with his wife and family was unbreakable.

It didn't take up to a minute of constant stares that Arnold came walking in.

"Hello Papa. I believe you have heard the case of the break-in at the meeting", Arnold interrogated keeping a cold face.

Warm sweat fell of the face of Williams.

"Is there any way that you could be associated---", a pause caused Victoria to exchange glances with Arnold.

Arnold slowly looked at Williams walk out of the room without answers.

Silence.

Victoria's vision shifted to the departing figure of Williams.

"Why did you have to say something", Victoria casually asked Arnold.

Arnold didn't say a word although he did suspect that something was terribly wrong with his father.

"If it was possible that Williams was associated with the meeting being hijacked, then we are all potential suspects", Arnold illustrated holding a neutral face and left the room.

Victoria once again was left bewildered standing at the centre of the living room next to the glass table directly above the shandelier.

Her heart felt as though it pumped faster. He legs fell stiff.

The words spoken by Arnold were unerasable and Victoria didn't take the information well.

Williams emotion and silence during matters did prove that he might be a potential suspect, much to the amusement of Victoria.

She got the nerves to get moving again, went straight to her bedroom without any deviations, and continued to pack her things for the impending travel ahead.
