Monotonous my foot.
When I opened my eyes, I was like inside a theme park.
I. Am. Overwhelmed.
Just imagine, you wake up expecting another monotonous day when you see something floating and flying here and there, and strange creatures that are partly human and and and and what the
Sorry. I intend to keep my story any age friendly so I cannot cuss here.
But if you're a person who's used to cussing out a lot then you're welcome to cuss instead of me because if you are in my place, you would be wondering if you might have taken an expired food or medication.
Floating live creatures. Floating or flying? I do not know.
Creatures who have human parts that talk and keep staring at me? Check.
Weird structures made out of whatever material is this because it looked like stone but changes it's colors.
I'm starting to hyperventilate but then I remembered that I'm the person who's the strange one now.
Cuss word here.
Now I don't know what I was thinking but I suddenly remembered the use of my legs and common sense.
I don't want to become a prostitute, slave or worse, get killed for something I didn't do.
So I ran towards what looks like a large gate that seems moving.
Okay I have enough common sense to know that I am not dreaming.
I hear there voices and they sounded scratchy and loud, making me panic even more.
Those novels definitely lied to me. You would definitely panic when you are in a strange world with not knowing anything.
And no, I definitely do not remember reading a novel like this.
My eyes seemed to see all sorts of crazy stuff at the same time and I'm trying to keep myself sane.
Cuss word. Cuss word. Cuss word.
Now that I'm at the gate, I can see that outside the gate is a kind of forest but with the trees with weird shapes and is moving??!! I know trees move but not like they're dancing or walking and definitely I KNOW TREES ARE MOSTLY GREEN NOT RAINBOW!!!!
I will not lose my sanity, I will definitely survive this but,
WHY IS THE GATE MOVING????!!!!
I want to cry.
....
Somehow, I have enough strength to find a quiet street corner and wept.
Somehow, this street is ordinary looking with houses that looked like they are from the Renaissance period on earth.
It's quiet and there's nobody around so I cried and cried from being overwhelmed.
Somehow, if I could tell you what I just saw, an ordinary person would either laugh and tell me I'm hallucinating and crazy.
But I have enough common sense to know that what I'm experiencing is real.
They don't tell experiences like this in the novels.
Usually in the novels, the person who was teleported or to be exact, isekaid, would immediately fit in. They don't panic and would immediately know what to do.
I don't. I don't know what to do.
Everything looks strange, weird to me and from where I ran from, it's like a huge burst of color. The street where I sat down huddling myself looks more mellowed down. It's more like a Renaissance type of buildings and colors like those you typically see from encyclopedias and museums.
I took time to compose myself. If I want to survive, I need to calm myself down. So I tried to focus on my breathing and closing my eyes.
Breath in, breath out. Breath in, breath out. Breath in, breath in, breath in and breath out a long time.
I opened my eyes slowly and I felt myself becoming calmer.
Whenever you feel like having a panic attack, it would be helpful to practice breathing exercises. Breathing into a paper bag does help a lot but there's no paper bag around.
Now that I'm a bit calmer, first thing I did is to check myself. Ok, it seems that I got isekaid into a unknown world. I wore the same clothes that I usually wear at home. And no, I definitely did not die as I'm very particular with my annual health checkups. Last thing I remembered was.....
I don't remember what I did. Strange.
Good thing I managed to wear something a bit presentable. Thank heavens I wore my jogging pants and a shirt, though I realized that I am barefoot.
The ground feels smooth. Sure, it looks like an ordinary ground but somehow it doesn't hurt when I ran earlier. Cool.
When I looked at the sky to check whether it's in the morning or afternoon since the sky is still bright, that's when I know that I'm in another world.
How should I describe this?
I can recognize that there was a giant sun-like thing at the sky but the color was unlike what I'm used to. It's blue-white?! From what I learned back on earth (yeah I'm definitely not on earth!), when the color of the sun is blue or white, it means it's hotter than our sun. But the strange thing is that, I don't feel hot. Rather, the wind feels very cool. But the color of the sky is like cyan with streaks of pinkish hue. It looks more like a bubblegum.
Cuss word. What is that.
Just when I thought that having a different color of the sun is strange, i just noticed that the sky HAS two suns.
Good thing I remembered my high school science lessons. Ha.
The world I'm currently in has a binary star system, meaning, the planet is orbiting around 2 stars. I can't explain much since I've forgotten most of my science lessons.
The second "sun" is a bit smaller, and has a reddish color. Maybe that's why the sky has a cyan-pinkish hue? I don't know and I don't want to know why right now.
But I can see a HUGE planet at the background. It's like I'm in the moon and I can see the earth. Or an even better explanation, it's like I'm in one of Saturn's moon and I can see the Saturn at the sky.
I don't want to understand anything right now.
I am so overwhelmed.
