Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 Picking Up Someone.

Chapter 6 Picking Up Someone.

God Realm, Sea God Palace.

Tang San, who had just returned to the Sea God Palace, felt as if he had been pricked all over with needles, followed by a very slight pressure.

This pressure was like a massage to Tang San, nothing serious.

Tang San frowned at this unusual situation; the events of the day were too strange.

His lower body had inexplicably become useless, and then he felt pricked all over with needles, followed by a very slight pressure.

Tang San wondered if he had been cursed.

He had an excellent reputation in the God Realm, being very approachable; no one could possibly curse him.

Wait…

At this moment, Tang San suddenly thought of someone, but he wasn't sure if it was him.

That person was the God of Destruction!

The God of Destruction hated him the most in the entire God Realm.

Tang San really couldn't understand why the God of Destruction hated him so much.

Everything he did was for the good of the God Realm, and to help the development of Douluo Continent.

He couldn't think of anyone else who could have cursed him besides the God of Destruction.

"I need to find a way to break this curse, otherwise something terrible will happen sooner or later," Tang San muttered to himself. This problem had to be solved as soon as possible.

He guessed that the damage this curse was causing him would only get worse, and if he didn't pay attention, he would die from it soon.

"It's so vicious, God of Destruction!"

Tang San thought to himself. It was just because they had different ideas that it was necessary to secretly curse him.

"Phew, finally successfully absorbed it."

After a long time, Deng Mu slowly opened his eyes and muttered to himself.

Having absorbed the millennium spirit ring, his level had reached 12, just a little short of 13.

The millennium spirit ring provided a support skill called Life Shield. His first spirit skill, Life Shield, granted all teammates a light blue shield, while also increasing their defense.

"Not bad, but it's not what I expected," Deng Mu muttered, getting up from the ground and brushing the dust off his clothes.

His initial idea for his first spirit skill was to increase various attributes, but Life Shield was still a decent skill.

However, this spirit skill was much better than Blue Silver Entanglement; if his first skill had also been Blue Silver Entanglement, he would have been furious.

He then activated his Blue Silver Domain, searching for a water source nearby; he needed a good bath.

Going back like this, he was guaranteed a spanking from his mother and sister, so a bath was the only way to avoid that fate.

"Hmm? Someone's unconscious here. Surprisingly, they weren't eaten by spirit beasts. It's truly a blessing from heaven."

At this moment, Deng Mu noticed a little girl lying unconscious on the ground.

The little girl was filthy, her clothes tattered and torn, apparently from something.

Deng Mu thought for a moment and decided to check on her; perhaps she was a character from the story.

After dispelling his Blue Silver Domain, Deng Mu went to the little girl's side and examined her.

"Not bad, everything seems normal. She probably just couldn't keep going after running for so long and fainted."

Deng Mu looked at the girl and began to analyze the situation.

Judging from her appearance, Deng Mu estimated that the girl was about the same age as his older sister, around nine years old.

Her clothes were of good quality, suggesting her family was relatively wealthy.

There were two possibilities: first, she might have encountered enemies and been attacked; second, she might have encountered a soul beast on the road and was the only one who escaped.

As for the truth of the matter, only the girl would know the situation once she woke up.

"Fine, I'll take pity on you and save you today."

Deng Mu thought for a moment and decided to save the unknown girl.

At first, he didn't really want to save her because he didn't know who she was or whether she would bring him trouble.

But for some reason, his intuition told him he needed to save her.

After a while, Deng Mu came to the girl who had fainted on the ground, picked her up, and headed towards the North City.

For some reason, Deng Mu arrived at his secret base before it got dark.

According to his calculations, it should have gotten dark by then, which was why he was near the North City.

He guessed that his body had been strengthened after becoming a Soul Master, which was why he was able to return home early, Deng Mu thought to himself.

After placing the girl in his secret base, Deng Mu went to bathe in a nearby stream.

"Pfft..."

Looking at his reflection in the river, Deng Mu couldn't help but laugh.

He was so dark, like a little black man, it was really funny.

Fortunately, his clothes weren't torn, otherwise, he couldn't explain why they were ripped.

After bathing, Deng Mu carried the girl into the city and hurried home.

He had only eaten breakfast and nothing for lunch, and after carrying the girl for so long, his stomach was growling with hunger.

"Mom, Sister, I'm home!"

Deng Mu shouted as soon as he got home.

The girl needed his sisters to clean her up and change her into clean clothes; it wasn't appropriate for a boy like him to bathe her.

After waiting a while, no one responded. Deng Mu scratched his head in confusion.

"Is she not home?"

Deng Mu thought for a moment, deciding to simply wipe the girl's body and change her clothes himself.

As long as he didn't say anything afterward, no one would know.

With that in mind, Deng Mu took the girl back to the bedroom, then boiled a basin of water and took a towel.

"God help her, please don't wake up halfway through," Deng Mu prayed, and began to undress the girl.

The girl's clothes were tattered, as if she had been attacked by some animal, and some were torn by something.

After undressing the girl, Deng Mu began to clean her body, quickly wiping her clean.

While dressing her, the girl suddenly opened her eyes.

  "..."

  "..."

Their eyes met, the atmosphere incredibly awkward.

The girl's face turned bright red, as red as a monkey's bottom. If she weren't so weak, she would have slapped Deng Mu a few times.

Seeing the girl awake, Deng Mu felt numb; the thing he least wanted had happened.

Thankfully, she hadn't woken up while he was cleaning her, that would have been even more embarrassing.

Deng Mu quickly apologized, "I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry. I saw your clothes were torn, so I changed you."

Now he only hoped the girl could forgive him; if his sister and mother found out, he was finished.
