Chapter 12 - Chapter 12 First Encounter with Ah Yin.

Chapter 12 First Encounter with Ah Yin.

But this is quite normal; the token looks to be made of some kind of iron.

Tang Ya looked at Deng Mu holding the token, somewhat embarrassed. In less than a day, she already had a genius fiancé.

It's just that this genius fiancé is a bit young, but it's not a big problem; they're only three years apart.

Deng Mu put away the token and looked at Tang Ya, saying, "Now that I am the Tang Sect Master, Sister Ya, I hope you can promise me a few things."

Tang Ya agreed without hesitation, "Okay, Xiao Mu, what are you saying?"

Seeing Tang Ya agree, Deng Mu thought for a moment and said, "I know about your situation. I hope you won't be blinded by hatred. From now on, whatever I say, you must do as I say. If you don't listen to me, then I won't be the sect master." He remembered Tang Ya's revenge, how she successfully avenged herself with the help of the Holy Spirit Sect, becoming an evil soul master and also the Holy Maiden of the Holy Spirit Sect.

He didn't want these things to happen, which is why he spoke to Tang Ya like this. If Tang Ya wasn't willing, then there was no need for him to be the Tang Sect Master.

Tang Ya nodded in agreement upon hearing Deng Mu's words. She understood the first part, but not the latter.

Jiang Nannan listened silently to the conversation between Deng Mu and Tang Ya. She naturally understood what her younger brother meant.

"Alright, Sister Ya, you should get some rest."

"Okay."

Tang Ya obediently went into bed to rest after hearing Deng Mu's words.

Seeing Tang Ya resting, Jiang Nannan and Deng Mu left the bedroom and left home to register their information.

After registering, they could receive the Soul Master subsidy. Although it wasn't as much as it was during the first battle, it was better than nothing.

Two days passed in the blink of an eye.

Deng Mu and Jiang Nannan were in their secret base, practicing the ultimate techniques Tang Ya had given them to the Tang Sect.

They started practicing the Purple Demon Eye early in the morning, followed by other ultimate techniques like Ghost Shadow Steps.

After practicing the Tang Sect's ultimate techniques, Deng Mu felt they were quite good, not as bad as those people online had described before his transmigration.

If he were to rate these techniques, he would give them a 7 out of 10, since he hadn't seen any other ultimate techniques and could only rate them based on his own feelings.

Deng Mu was somewhat puzzled; when the Tang Sect became the number one sect on the Douluo Continent, didn't anyone else create movement techniques or anything like that?

"Phew, I'm exhausted," Jiang Nannan said, panting as she sat down on the ground after finishing Ghost Shadow Steps.

Every time she finished practicing, Jiang Nannan felt incredibly tired, but the techniques were indeed quite good. She increasingly couldn't understand why the Tang Sect had declined; it was all too strange.

Now she felt there were two possibilities for the Tang Sect's decline: either someone was secretly plotting against them, or the people of the Tang Sect were all fools.

Besides these two possibilities, she couldn't think of any other possibility.

Deng Mu sat down next to Jiang Nannan and chuckled, "Sister, you're not up to par. You need to train harder."

Jiang Nannan rolled her eyes at Deng Mu and said, "Not everyone is like you, with such a terrifying physique."

She couldn't help but worry about Tang Ya. If Tang Ya married Deng Mu, she felt Tang Ya might not be able to handle it.

Hearing Jiang Nannan's words, Deng Mu smiled and scratched his head, saying nothing.

These past few days, Tang San had been drinking some special tea, and his physique and mental strength had improved considerably. She wondered where Tang San had gotten the tea.

"I'm going back to check on Xiao Ya. You can train slowly here. I'll come and call you when it's time to eat."

"Okay, I understand."

Deng Mu nodded, picked up a cup, and took a sip of water.

Jiang Nannan got up and left, heading towards home.

She felt smelly and needed to take a good shower before checking on Tang Ya.

Having learned a lot about the Tang Clan recently, her doubts about them only grew. Her biggest question was why Tang Ya knew nothing about medicine, given the Tang Clan's renowned reputation.

She increasingly felt that Tang San was incredibly unreliable.

Seeing Jiang Nannan leave, Deng Mu lay on the grass, lost in thought.

"Little friend, are you alone?"

Just as Deng Mu was lost in thought, a gentle voice rang out.

Hearing the voice, Deng Mu sat up and looked in its direction, seeing Ah Yin smiling at him.

Looking at Ah Yin, Deng Mu was stunned. It was the first time he had ever seen such a beautiful woman.

While his sisters were beautiful, compared to this woman, they were worlds apart. Ah Yin's looks and demeanor completely overwhelmed them.

This woman was definitely extraordinary, Deng Mu thought to himself.

Based on his years of experience reading online novels, beautiful women were generally powerful individuals.

Thinking of this, Deng Mu involuntarily took a few steps back. She knew she would run away if she sensed anything amiss.

Seeing Deng Mu's reaction, Ah Yin felt a little helpless. She knelt down in front of him and said gently, "Little friend, don't be nervous. I mean you no harm."

As she spoke, she sized him up to confirm he was the person she was looking for. Deng Mu looked at Ah Yin warily and asked, "Sister, is there something you need?"

Addressing an older woman in a younger way would improve her mood—this was based on his past experiences with others.

Of course, you couldn't address her too young, or it would backfire.

Ah Yin was quite pleased with Deng Mu's words, but the thought that Deng Mu might be related to her son made her feel a little strange about the way she addressed him.

"It's nothing. I came here to find someone," Ah Yin said gently, reaching out to stroke Deng Mu's head. She secretly examined Deng Mu's martial soul to confirm his identity.

Sure enough, it was the Blue Silver Emperor and the Clear Sky Hammer.

This child was definitely related to the mistress; he was very likely her illegitimate child.

The reason she thought this way was because if Deng Mu was Xiao Wu's child, she couldn't possibly be unaware of this; Xiao San would definitely have informed her.

When Xiao Wu was pregnant with Wu Tong, Tang San specifically came to tell them about it, and she and Tang Hao were present when Xiao Wu gave birth to Wu Tong.

If Deng Mu only possessed the Blue Silver Emperor or the Clear Sky Hammer, she wouldn't suspect a connection between Deng Mu and Xiao San, but Deng Mu happens to possess both.

If others knew this, they would also suspect a relationship between Deng Mu and Xiao San.

More importantly, Xiao San had visited Douluo Continent a few years ago; she didn't know exactly what he did, but a few days later he came alone to visit her and Tang Hao before returning to the God Realm.

Thinking of this, Ah Yin's gaze towards Deng Mu was incredibly gentle, filled with affection and heartache.
