Chapter 10 - Chapter 10 Joining

Chapter 10 Joining

If only she had discovered this sooner, perhaps the Tang Sect wouldn't have declined so quickly, and might even have risen again.

Thinking of this, Tang Ya couldn't help but sigh, her heart filled with mixed emotions.

But she quickly rallied. She saw hope in Deng Mu and Jiang Nannan. If they joined the Tang Sect, and she recruited more people, perhaps the Tang Sect could become a first-rate sect under her leadership.

Returning to its peak was impossible unless someone in the sect became a god.

Becoming a god was simply impossible; since Tang San's ancestor left, no one else had become a god in the past ten thousand years.

She felt that with Jiang Nannan and Deng Mu's talents, coupled with the Mysterious Heaven Technique, their cultivation could improve, and their combat power would also increase.

Seeing that Tang Ya remained silent, Deng Mu asked, "Xiao Ya, what's wrong? What happened?"

He guessed that she must have thought of something that surprised her greatly. It was very likely related to Tang San; perhaps Tang Ya had already discovered that Tang San's martial soul wasn't Blue Silver Grass but the top-tier plant-type martial soul, Blue Silver Emperor.

Tang Ya and her companions seemed to have really bad luck. Their Blue Silver Grass martial soul possessed the authentic royal bloodline of Blue Silver Grass, and in the past ten thousand years, no one's martial soul had evolved from Blue Silver Grass to Blue Silver Emperor.

If even one had, they would know that Tang San's martial soul was actually Blue Silver Emperor, not Blue Silver Grass.

Jiang Nannan looked on with some confusion, wondering what was going on.

After thinking for a moment, Tang Ya looked at Deng Mu and Jiang Nannan and said, "Nannan, Xiao Mu, I would like to invite you to join the Tang Sect. I wonder if you would be willing?"

She then looked at Jiang Nannan and Deng Mu somewhat nervously, hoping that they would agree to join the Tang Sect.

If they're unwilling, then there's nothing she can do. She'll have to find some talented people later and invite them to join the Tang Sect.

Jiang Nannan, hearing about the Tang Sect, asked curiously, "Xiaoya, is the Tang Sect you're talking about the sect founded by the Sea God Tang San ten thousand years ago?"

She knew quite a bit about the Tang Sect, as her mother often told stories about Tang San, and she had inquired about it out of curiosity.

She remembered that the Tang Sect seemed to have declined and was no longer ranked among the top sects in the entire Douluo Continent.

Tang Ya nodded, somewhat proudly, and said, "That's right, I am now the current sect leader of the Tang Sect."

Jiang Nannan was somewhat surprised to learn that Tang Ya was the current sect leader; she hadn't expected Tang Ya to be the current sect leader.

But this meant one thing: the Tang Sect was completely finished. They had even appointed a nine-year-old girl as sect leader; besides Tang Ya, there was probably no one else in the entire sect.

No, not just probably, there was definitely only Tang Ya left, because when her younger brother found Tang Ya, she was already badly injured, and with her mother wanting to keep her, the Tang Sect was most likely wiped out, which is why Tang Ya became the sect leader.

Thinking of this, Jiang Nannan looked at Deng Mu, wanting to hear his thoughts. If Deng Mu wanted to join the Tang Sect, she would join too.

But if Deng Mu didn't join, she wouldn't either, because she felt that if her younger brother wasn't willing to join, he must be useless.

Seeing Jiang Nannan looking at him, Deng Mu thought for a moment and nodded, indicating that he could join.

Although the Xuan Tian Bao Lu had been corrupted, it wasn't a big problem; those techniques and martial arts were still very useful to them. If his sister learned those Tang Sect's unique skills, her strength would increase by a level, and he would have some ability to protect himself, without worrying about the secret being exposed.

"Okay, my brother and I will join the Tang Sect."

Seeing that Deng Mu was willing to join, Jiang Nannan agreed without hesitation.

Although she didn't understand why her brother agreed to join this already declining sect, she trusted Deng Mu's choice.

Seeing Jiang Nannan and Deng Mu agree, Tang Ya was overjoyed. Recruiting two geniuses for the sect might attract even more in the future.

Tang Ya thought about the initiation ceremony and decided against it; things were already like this, why bother with a ceremony?

"Nannan and Xiao Mu, you are now disciples of the Tang Sect. Today, I will pass on our sect's ultimate technique, the Xuan Tian Gong, to you," Tang Ya said seriously after her initial excitement.

Deng Mu found Tang Ya's demeanor quite amusing.

Deng Mu and Jiang Nannan nodded in understanding and waited for Tang Ya to impart the technique.

Deng Mu was quite curious about the Xuan Tian Gong, wondering what its contents were that made Tang San continue practicing it even after his rebirth.

He couldn't understand why a sect's technique, which relied on hidden weapons, would remain so useful in another world.

If he had memorized the Tao Te Ching and other classic texts before his transmigration, wouldn't he have become invincible in Douluo Continent?

"Listen carefully, I'm going to start teaching you the Mysterious Heaven Skill now. As for the other secret techniques, I'll have to wait until I'm healed before I can teach them."

"Okay, I understand."

Tang Ya began teaching Deng Mu and Jiang Nannan the Mysterious Heaven Skill.

Worried that Deng Mu and Jiang Nannan might not understand, Tang Ya specifically explained some of the more difficult parts to them.

After understanding the Mysterious Heaven Skill, Jiang Nannan and Deng Mu began practicing it.

After practicing the Mysterious Heaven Skill, Deng Mu entered a strange state, feeling a large amount of primordial energy from heaven and earth entering his body.

Douluo Continent, somewhere.

"Hmm?!"

A woman sensed something and showed a surprised expression.

The woman wore a white dress, appeared to be around thirty years old, and had long, flowing blue hair. She possessed a breathtaking beauty, as if she were the center of the world, so beautiful that everything else paled in comparison.

Sensing that aura, the woman muttered to herself, "Strange, why do I sense a familiar aura?"

Her name was A Yin, Tang Hao's wife, and the mother of Tang San, the Sea God and Asura God.

This aura gave her a very familiar feeling, a familiarity she had only ever felt from one other person: her son, Tang San. She had never sensed this aura from anyone else.

A Yin pondered for a moment, then dismissed the possibility that this person was Tang San, as the aura was far weaker than her son's.

There was only one possibility: that person might be her grandson or granddaughter.

To confirm this thought, A Yin decided to go to that place to verify the person's identity.

She thought this because her daughter-in-law had told her that Tang Wutong had descended from the God Realm; otherwise, she would never have considered the possibility of her grandson or granddaughter.
