Chapter 9 Tang Ya's Discovery.
A while later, Yan Yuhua came out of the bedroom.
"Mother," Jiang Nannan called out to Yan Yuhua, wanting to know her plans.
Yan Yuhua looked at Jiang Nannan and Deng Mu and said, "From today onwards, Tang Ya will live with us. She's family."
She sighed inwardly. After chatting with Tang Ya in the bedroom for a while, she learned about Tang Ya's background.
She felt Tang Ya was a pitiful person; her parents were killed, her home was seized, and she was all alone and helpless.
After understanding Tang Ya's background, she decided to take her in. After a good talk with Tang Ya, Tang Ya stayed.
Deng Mu and Jiang Nannan were both surprised to learn that Tang Ya was staying and becoming part of the family. They hadn't expected Tang Ya to stay.
Especially Jiang Nannan; she thought Tang Ya would only stay for a short time, and then leave after her injuries healed.
This made her guess that Tang Ya's background must be very tragic, and her mother took pity on her after learning about it, so she took Tang Ya in.
She didn't have any objections to this, as long as Tang Ya wouldn't cause trouble for the family. If Tang Ya caused trouble, she would be the first to object to Tang Ya staying.
It was impossible for the whole family to be harmed just because Tang Ya was pitiful; such a thing was simply unthinkable.
Deng Mu thought the same as Jiang Nannan, assuming that his mother would at most let Tang Ya recover from her illness and then let her leave.
He had even planned to persuade his mother to let Tang Ya stay, but he didn't expect his mother to take Tang Ya in on her own initiative, probably because she knew about Tang Ya's background.
Then Yan Yuhua said, "Nannan, go and bring the noodles to Tang Ya; that child hasn't eaten for a day."
Jiang Nannan nodded in understanding her mother's words and carried the noodles she had made to the bedroom.
"Xiao Mu, is there something you want to tell me?"
Seeing Jiang Nannan enter the bedroom, Yan Yuhua smiled and approached Deng Mu, gently patting his head.
During their conversation, she had learned some things that concerned Deng Mu.
Hearing Yan Yuhua's words, Deng Mu involuntarily swallowed. It seemed his mother knew.
Oh no!
He's going to get a spanking…
Deng Mu thought to himself, feeling an immense headache. How could he have forgotten about Tang Ya?
His mother was talking to Tang Ya, and she would definitely ask him where he found her.
"Come to the room with me."
"Okay."
Deng Mu sighed helplessly and followed Yan Yuhua into the room.
He's going to get a spanking…
Deng Mu thought to himself as he followed his mother into the room.
Although a spanking didn't hurt at all, it was quite embarrassing.
A while later, Yan Yuhua finished spanking Deng Mu and went into the kitchen to cook dinner. Deng Mu, blushing, pulled up his pants; it was the first time he'd ever been spanked.
Jiang Nannan was always the one getting spanked, and he'd watched with amusement. He never imagined it would be his turn.
After dinner, Deng Mu and Jiang Nannan went back to the bedroom to rest.
The three of them sleeping together weren't cramped, but if they were all older, it would be a bit crowded.
The next morning, after breakfast, Deng Mu and Jiang Nannan stayed with Tang Ya.
Jiang Nannan asked Tang Ya curiously, "Xiao Ya, what is your martial soul?"
Tang Ya sat up and said, "My martial soul is Blue Silver Grass, level 15. Nannan, what is your martial soul?"
The two of them had spent some time together last night and their relationship had become quite good.
Jiang Nannan introduced herself, "My martial soul is Soft Bone Rabbit, currently level 16."
Upon learning that Jiang Nannan was level 16, Tang Ya looked at her with some surprise.
She was only able to reach level 15 because of the Mysterious Heaven Technique, while Jiang Nannan, without any technique, had managed to reach level 16, which meant that Jiang Nannan had exceptional talent.
Seeing Tang Ya's surprise, Deng Mu explained, "Sister Xiao Ya, you have innate full soul power."
Upon learning that Jiang Nannan had innate full soul power, Tang Ya had a look of sudden realization; innate full soul power made things easier to understand.
Tang Ya asked Deng Mu, "Little Mu, what about you? What's your spirit?"
Deng Mu scratched his head and said, "My spirit is the Blue Silver Emperor, also with innate full spirit power, level 12."
Upon learning Deng Mu's spirit, Tang Ya was somewhat puzzled; she didn't know what the Blue Silver Emperor was.
However, Deng Mu's innate spirit power and level astonished her immensely. She hadn't expected that two people in one family would have innate full spirit power, and the younger brother was even more outstanding than his sister.
This gave Tang Ya an idea: she wanted Deng Mu and Jiang Nannan to join the Tang Sect.
That way, the Tang Sect would have a high chance of being revitalized in the future.
Seeing Tang Ya's confusion, Deng Mu realized that Tang Ya didn't know anything about the Blue Silver Emperor.
To be precise, only some people knew about the Blue Silver Emperor; others, especially those in the Tang Sect, didn't know what it was.
Those people saw spirit masters with Blue Silver Grass as their hope, hoping that a second Tang San would emerge among them and lead the Tang Sect to its peak.
Unfortunately, they didn't know that Tang San's spirit was the Blue Silver Emperor, not Blue Silver Grass.
If the Tang Sect hadn't been so fixated on Blue Silver Grass, they probably wouldn't have fallen so early.
Frankly, even Tang San himself hadn't expected the Tang Sect to be so obsessed with Blue Silver Grass.
"Let me show you, then you'll understand," Deng Mu said, showing Tang Ya his Blue Silver Emperor.
He remembered that the Blue Silver Emperor had a suppressive effect on plant-type martial souls, especially Blue Silver Grass; after all, the Blue Silver Emperor was the emperor among Blue Silver Emperors.
Looking at the Blue Silver Emperor Deng Mu displayed, Tang Ya felt the suppressive martial soul pressure emanating from it. She was certain that the Blue Silver Emperor was a top-tier plant-type martial soul.
Tang Ya moved closer to Deng Mu, carefully examining the Blue Silver Emperor martial soul.
"Hmm?!"
After examining it for a while, Tang Ya noticed the difference between Deng Mu's Blue Silver Emperor and Blue Silver Grass.
The Blue Silver Emperor was thicker than Blue Silver Grass, and it had golden patterns. Without careful observation, it was impossible to distinguish between the two.
Wait…
Tang Ya suddenly remembered something. She had read books about Tang San's ancestor before, one of which described his martial soul.
Tang San possessed twin martial souls and innate full soul power: Blue Silver Grass and the top-tier weapon martial soul, the Clear Sky Hammer.
The description of Blue Silver Grass was exactly the same as Deng Mu's Blue Silver Emperor, without any difference.
Their Tang Sect had been mistaken all along; Tang San's ancestor's martial soul wasn't Blue Silver Grass, but the Blue Silver Emperor.
In that instant, Tang Ya felt like her Tang Sect was a joke, clinging to the ordinary Blue Silver Grass martial soul as their hope, with no one knowing that Tang San's ancestor's martial soul was the Blue Silver Emperor.
Perhaps some people had noticed that Tang San's ancestor's Blue Silver Grass was different from ordinary Blue Silver Grass, but no one believed them.
