Chapter 28: Killing the Beast King! The Beast Tide Approaches!
Ren stayed in town for a while. After the townspeople learned his identity, their attitude toward him was extremely good.

Roaring at the sky, the beast radiated savagery. Its massive head suddenly turned, and its huge, lantern-like eyes locked onto Ren.
"Roar!"
Its fierce gaze was filled with violence as it unleashed a deafening roar at Ren.
Ren frowned, a cold glint flashing in his eyes. "Prometheus!"
Ren gave a command, and Prometheus, wrapped in intense heat, shot straight forward.
Fireballs spewed continuously from Prometheus's mouth, surging toward the massive beast.
The moment the fireballs hit the Beast King's body, violent explosions erupted.
But when the smoke cleared, the Beast King was completely unharmed. Not a scratch.
Ren raised an eyebrow, surprised.
He knew Prometheus's strength best. For an attack like that to leave the Beast King unscathed was unexpected.
"Zeus, you go too."
Ren patted Zeus, then leaped off his back, falling straight through the air.
He landed on the ground with a heavy boom.
Receiving the order, Zeus soared into the sky, launching attacks on the Beast King alongside Prometheus.
Countless lightning bolts and fireballs bombarded the Beast King's massive body.
"Roar!"
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
Zeus and Prometheus's attacks kept triggering explosions on the Beast King. Although they didn't deal heavy damage, they infuriated the beast.
It grabbed a towering tree nearby and hurled it straight at Zeus in the air.
Seeing that Zeus's attacks were ineffective, Ren didn't plan to just sit and wait.
His figure flickered through the forest, and in moments he was close to the Beast King.
The instant Ren appeared, the Beast King spotted him.
It let out a deafening roar at Ren.
A massive palm slammed straight down toward him.
Watching the giant palm descending overhead, Ren stomped hard on the ground.
The earth shattered, spiderweb cracks spreading out.
Ren vanished instantly.
When he reappeared, Ren flashed right in front of the Beast King's face.
Clenching his fist, he smashed it heavily onto the Beast King's head.
With Ren's punch connecting, the Beast King crashed down.
It slammed straight onto the ground.
Taking advantage of the beast being knocked down, Ren coated his fist with the power of the Tremor-Tremor Fruit.
Ren rushed forward, punching the Beast King again and again.
Intense pain made the Beast King roar thunderously, waving its massive palms to try and knock Ren away.
With Observation Haki, Ren easily dodged the Beast King's chaotic attacks.
Soon, under Ren's assault, the Beast King stopped moving.
Every punch carried the Tremor-Tremor Fruit's power, completely shattering the beast's internal organs.
Looking at the motionless Beast King, Ren felt something was off.

The surrounding forest shook, and trees toppled everywhere.
Looking closely, countless magical beasts emerged from underground.

He stared at the mayor with a dark face.
"Why did you hide it?"
Seeing Ren's expression, the mayor forced a smile, pretending not to know anything. "What do you mean? I don't understand."
Ren sneered, then said, "Don't understand? Fine. Then I'm leaving. Handle the Beast King yourself!"
Ren turned to walk away.
Watching Ren about to leave the hall, the mayor gritted his teeth and hurriedly shouted, "Wait!"
"I'll tell you."
The mayor's face looked terrible, and he seemed to age ten years in an instant.
As the mayor explained, Ren's face grew darker and darker.
It turned out that over the years since these beasts appeared in the mountains…
