"X is the hero of humanity, a symbol of justice and power beyond anything we could have imagined," said the president of the League of Nations with a smile.
"Unfortunately, it has been more than a month since he fought Mandrak and so far he is nowhere to be found," the journalist said with a sad pout.
The president of the League of Nations smiled slightly.
"He may not be there, but I'm sure he's looking out for all of us. And when he reappears, it will be to help us once again."
...
X was sleeping, drool on his lips, his black hair disheveled. He didn't hear the alarm clock that had been ringing for 5 minutes now.
"It feels good to no longer be called 'the young man with white hair'" grumbles X as he gets up from his bed, yawning with fatigue.
"Well, I think I'm late for work" he says to himself nonchalantly as he brushes his teeth, showers and then gets dressed. He left his little apartment.
He hadn't eaten breakfast...
"Can I know why you specify that? I'll eat later," he says, readjusting his glasses and black tie.
.....
Togame yagi was in the tower of the vigilantes. She was in front of the giant window, watching the city rebuild itself since Mandrak's titanic attacks.
People seemed happy, buildings were quickly rebuilt and most importantly...
There were posters of X everywhere...
The city's screens tirelessly projected his image.
It was as if he was everywhere and nowhere at the same time.
She looked at the coin she was holding in her hand.
"X... Where have you been?" the beautiful blonde woman wondered.
"It was incredible, until now I feel like it was all just a dream" she said to herself as she looked intensely at the coin with her blue eyes.
"Yagi?" a male voice called.
She turned around and greeted the newcomer with a military salute.
"Mr. President" she greeted.
"Hello Yagi, I hope you're doing well," the president smiled, looking out the window at the city.
Togame simply nodded.
"I wonder if he sees what is happening, what he has brought to the world," said the president of the League of Nations.
"I think so, I wonder where he could be," Togame replied.
"This coin didn't help us locate it, it's not on any database, he totally came out of nowhere. We don't know anything about him or his goals," he says seriously.
"His Quirk is probably the strangest and most powerful ever recorded, we have to find him to contain such power, especially if it ever turns against us" he says as he walks away.
Togame watched him leave with a sigh, her expression indecipherable as the city still rejoiced at X's victory.
....
"Late again!" cried the blue-skinned woman, glaring at her employee.
She was the boss of the production company where he worked. Her name is iris Aoi.
"Sorry," he said with a sheepish smile.
The woman was grinding her teeth with a huge animated red vein on her head. X looked at this red cross with an amused smile.
"I don't want to be forced to fire you, you're a good employee but your tardiness is intolerable! This is your last chance!" she cried as she walked away and X noticed that she was wearing a bracelet with an X engraved on it.
He saw her talking with her assistant, proudly showing her the bracelet and raving about X.
"He's a real god! I would have loved to see it in real life!" she cried with a blissful smile, hearts around her.
"She's a fan of her employee" thought X with a tender and amused smile.
"What are you doing here!? Go To work!" barked the boss, glaring at the black-haired man.
"Okay, and by the way, beautiful bracelet" he smiles mischievously.
He walked away with a coffee in his hand as Aoi sighed with fatigue.
"What a bumbling man..." she sighed, smiling in spite of herself.
.......
A few hours later, X had finished the paperwork and was stretching out of fatigue. He readjusted his glasses and drank his third coffee of the day.
"Hey, would you like to go to this new fast-food restaurant that just opened?" one of the employees asked two of his colleagues.
"The XFC? Of course!" cried the two with joy.
"The three of you there! Have you finished your reports for the day?" asked Aoi as she arrived, dropping a pile of files right in front of X.
"And you, are you still daydreaming?!" she cried, patting X on the cheek.
"Who are you talking to, Boss?" asked one of the employees with uncertainty.
Aoi sighed, her black-haired employee was so discreet that he seemed self-effacing. No one had ever noticed him in 2 years of work here, except her.
"Write me your reports before leaving" she ordered as she left the room.
"Shit, she ruined the atmosphere" said one of them as they went back to work.
As they worked without noticing him in the slightest, X watched the sunset through the huge windows.
"XFC huh? Maybe I should go one of these days," he thought to himself, playing with a coin between his fingers.
"I could even invite the boss even if I think she's going to send me away" he laughed.
An ordinary day for the hero X.....
To be continued....
