Chapter 10 - X's Christmas

Ten years had passed...

A lot had changed and the number of people with quirks had doubled....

There was then a significant multiplication of villains, these people who used their Quirks to do evil...

Thus, many new laws were created to strengthen this changing society, what we will call in a few years the superheroic society.

The vigilantes no longer existed, replaced by so-called professional heroes, they are controlled by the various heroic commissions and paid to protect, save civilians and arrest villains.

Civilians were not allowed to use their Quirks without a proper license, and those who disobeyed were arrested.

Pro heroes gained popularity with the public. This gave rise to the hero ranking.

"They already know the story, don't they? Why tell them all this? We should talk to them about what's going on with me," X said as he walked quietly down the snowy street.

For heroic commissions, X had become a kind of outlaw.Indeed, the most popular hero in the world did not have a license... Doing what he wanted in nature without the control of governments. His appearances during his ten years could be counted on the fingers of one hand, but when he appeared, it was always to defeat threats that affected humanity and perhaps the entire universe of my hero academia.

He was outside the system and yet he was considered by millions of people as an absolute hero, his extremely rare appearances only fueled his legend.

He was X... a hero, a god.

The number 0 in the ranking...

No one could ever guess that the hero we absolutely want to see again was walking around, admiring the trees and the many Christmas posters with his image

"It's Christmas Eve today, exactly like in real life, what a coincidence..." X said, rolling his eyes.

He sneezed, snuggling even more into his thick black coat.

"We're hurrying home, eating a good ice cream log and watching Home Alone" he says with a blissful smile as he readjusts his glasses.

He was about to take the road again, when he stopped suddenly.

"Maybe later" he thought to himself as he turned around.

..........

"Mom! Look!" cried a little boy with blond hair and blue eyes, pointing to his snowman.

"I saw this Toshiro, he's very handsome" smiles Toshiro's mother, a blonde woman who was still as beautiful as ever despite the years.

Togame yagi, formerly heroine under the name Paragon, got married 5 years ago to another former hero of the top 10.

She had retired when Toshiro was born.

She watched her son play with a tender smile, sitting on one of the benches in a park.

Suddenly...

A snap of the finger resounded....

The city was distorted and Togame

recognized this mythical signature that she had not heard for a long time.

A few seconds later, the city returned to its normal appearance.

But for civilians... It was a different story.

"But what's going on?!"

"We are puppets!"

"I look like a sock with a mouth and hair!" cried a woman as she ran around, but her movements were as slow as a fluffy that can be manipulated.

"Seriously?! A Muppets show?" cried Togame, looking at herself with a sigh.

"Wow! Mom! I'm a puppet! But I don't see any wire that controls me!" cried Toshiro happily.

"X did that....," said Togame to herself, looking at the coin that X had given her.

"Exactly," a male voice said as Togame felt the warmth of a chocolate cup on his now clothed cheek.

"Mom! That's X! He's too funny as a puppet!" cried Toshiro as he approached him, his eyes like sewing buttons shining.

X laughed.

"So sweetie, it's been a long time, hasn't it?" asked the white-haired man with a small smile.

Togame watched him with a small smile, half exasperated, half amused, as X sat down next to her. Toshiro placed himself between the two, a big exhilarated smile on his felt lips.

"So? We have a lot to say to each other, but first, we're going to wish the readers a Merry Christmas!" smiles Greatly X, raising two fingers in style.

"You're still so weird," Togame sighed with a nervous smile.

"Merry Christmas dear readers!" cried Toshiro making big gestures with his hand, not understanding and simply following X.

Merry Christmas, dear readers.....

And....
