Time went by, but it was still the same. Even after two whole weeks that it started to feel suffocating. Being the type that prefers peace over drama, she could just watch everything unfold in all that and her friends kept her busy, not to mind them.
As usual, Annabelle was getting at the best of their curiosity, and Ann, Trisha and the others were all in it.
"Let's go grab something from the cafeteria, I'm starving " Elise was whining like a kid.
Blue hit her head with a pen " Go alone, I'm not going, and so is Asha ", she said, pulling her away from Elise, knowing it would make her whine more.
She saw candy to look up and see who it was...
"For you. I went out, and on my way back, I thought I'd get you something " Malcolm handed it to her and left.
They looked at each other and laughed
" Look at you blush. Oh my, I need a guy too," with a little bit of drama, they teased Blue as usual.
Elise ended up running from her the whole day not ready to face her when she gets grumpy.
" It's been forever, let's go out again. Ok"
Blue wasn't paying attention as Malcom went on talking the whole time.

It was night when Blue chose to end everything through the phone, knowing she couldn't do it while facing him. The memory of his voice asking for a reason made her feel a little guilty and all she could say was "just because "
Not knowing why she did it in the first place. But felt like it was a must.
" Maybe you're tired. How about we -"
"No need, it's already late and I think I should go to bed already" Cutting the call not giving Malcom a chance to say more.
The thought of facing him right after all that was unsettling. Blue did it anyway, knowing there's no other option. But as time went by everything went back to normal.
"Haven't seen your guy since morning." Elise, always the talkative one, asked.
She hesitated before answering " He's not my guy and I don't know where he is"
That was enough for them to give her weird looks trying to figure it out.
" Don't joke around, you know ....don't tell me you guys broke up already" half joking, waiting to hear what she's going to say, but Blue just got up and left.
"Where are you going? Classes are about to start, "she called out, trying to get her attention.

"It was that bastard's fault, right?" Asha muttered, holding her hands.
She got up "Did he even give you a reason or not"
Blue shook her head 'No' that was like adding fuel to the fire" The next time I see him ... "
Blue couldn't take it anymore " You know he has a name right "
That earned her a side eye from them
" ex 's dont use names"
That was new " since when and...."
" Since the time of exes began, Blue", Elise said like it was a well-known fact.
Blue had enough " He didn't end things. I did ok so he's not to blame "
"But why? You don't just break up with someone you know," she looked at her, all confused.
Blue blinked " Wait, are you my friend or his? Why ask so much?" She frowned at them.
Maybe it's just that she wasn't ready for it, or stopped liking him in the middle of all this, and maybe all the attention that came with it was a factor too. But Blue wasn't going to try to figure it out.
"Hey "
Blue turned around " Hi, how are you?"
"I'm fine. You're looking better than these past few days." He noted and she hummed.
" Thanks, just getting better sleep", Blue replied.
The other looked in surprise "You're not the type to get stressed easily "
She nodded and waved him goodbye.
Blue and Malcolm settled the things that had been left unsaid a week ago, and he had to accept her decision a long time ago, even without getting a proper reason. So Blue didn't mind being with him in the same class.
"That would be so wrong and right at the same time" they burst into a fit of laughter
They were interrupted by Mavin and Kay joining them at the round table. They were used to it now ever since talking with them a few times. Being new to the class didn't stop them from adjusting faster than most.
Kay sat next to Elise grabbing her candy.
"Give it back already, you bully", Elise tried taking it with no choice but to let him have it.
"Blue, can you come with me for a minute? " Medina, Blue's cousin entered the class and dragged her along to the balcony.
She stopped halfway "Why bring me here hmm?"
Medina held an unfamiliar guy's arm standing in front of her.
" This is Railan. He was a senior here two years ago" she said it all in one breath.
Blue didn't know what to say. That wasn't what she was expecting after being dragged out here. So she leaned on the nearest wall.
" I have heard a lot about you, only the good stuff," he said, giving her his best smile.
They spent some time talking, the three of them, till Railan had to go finish the paperwork he came for.
She wasn't having it" Next time, don't bring me out to meet people without my permission. Being my cousin sis doesn't give you a pass ok?" Seeing Medina's expression she left. Not aware that her contact had been given too.
